My TOP 10 CARDS for 2015

I know that I am a bit late and year 2016 is just around the corner, but  finally I have time to make those  TOP 10 lists in my blog. Those are all my creations and my picks. I like those projects and I hope you  like them too.
So today it's my TOP 10 CARDS list. I tried  to pick  cards made with different techniques and in different styles. As you can see most of the cards are watermarked with the companies I design for. So here is the first made for Two Paper Divas- CAS style:

And another one made for the very same company- CAS style:

Card made for Rubber Dance company- totally different stamps and in vintage style:

And another one for Rubber Dance in Mixed Media style:

Another one for Rubber Dance- kind of a vintage style:

This card was made for Inspired by Stamping and I can't even say what style it was made:

Another one for Inspired by Stamping and this card was already print published in Just Cards! magazine this year:

Ans the third one made with Inspired by Stamping stamps and my own background stamp made from red rubber leftovers:

The first card that was made with Canvas Corps products and web published when I just  began on their DT- vintage/chabby or whatever.

And the last, but not the least-card made for Bella  web magazine- kind of CAS with tons of techniques:

So that's it for cards and see you tomorrow with ART JOURNALS AND ART CANVASES TOP 10 OF MINE!

Merry Christmas mini album cover

Hello my dear crafty friends! Today I made an  easy and quick tutorial for you  with new IBS, just released stamp  Festive Greetings stamp set.
Inspired-by-Stamping-Festive-Greetings-Stamp-Set.png

I decided to make the mini album cover, but it's still 4*6'' size, so it can be done as a card.
Here are the steps to make this project:
1. Arrange a piece of Green burlap, a piece of Red and Green pin dot cardstock and a piece of All wrapped cardstock over the journal cover as shown.Heat emboss the edges of both cardstocks with Gold embossing powder , using VersMark ink.

2.  Paint the chipboard with red acrylic  paint and heat emboss with Clear embossing powder to get the shiny look.
3.Stamp the sentiment over the oval chipboard with red ink and arrange into the smaller painted frame over the cover. Mist it all with golden mist and let it dry.

4.Stamp the light bulbs bottom stamp with different pigmented inks and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

5.Stamp the upper Light bulb stamp over the first layer with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with Gold powder. Hand cut all bulbs.

6.Arrange the hand cut bulbs over a piece of  jute with 3D foam glue dots. Add the pearls and cover each stamped piece- the sentiment too- with glaze. Let it dry and enjoy your album cover!

TPD card last for December

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my 52 ND POST made for Two Paper Divas blog.
Yes, it's a full year design for this lovely stamp company and yes, I stay for the second one!
So here is my new card and it's JUST FOR YOU all!
I made it with a new Backgrounds stamp set, using 2 of all 4 stamps. All stamping was made over metal copper cardstock with clear embossing ink and 3 colors of metal embossing powders.
I used an old (love it !) die to make this puzzle and arranged it over the metal cardstock with 3d foam glue.
Then I added this small sentiment using TPD  new Truffle Treats set over black cardstock with gold embossing powder.
It's a very trendy card (metals are trendy) and it is perfect for any occasion.
See you next year! (it's just in a week... )

ESF December tutorial: Paint your winter dream

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new tutorial made with lots of Earth Safe Finishes products.
This time I altered the round metal tin and I wanted to check the paints and mediums over the bare tin. No primer, no basic layer, just  the bare metal.
So here we go!
Step by step tutorial:
1. Paint the metal tin box cover with one single layer of Chalk It Up Blue Dinner Mint paint and let it dry. The drying time of ESF Chalk It Up paint is very fast, so it will only take a couple of minutes. The cover is fantastic as you can see.

2.Take two  Clearsnap Art screens by Ann Butler- the Stars and the Waves and arrange them on the top and the bottom of the tin as shown. Use ESF Gel Medium as your texture paste  over the stencils.

3. Add bright blue glitter over the top stars while it's wet and clear glitter on the bottom. Now let it dry!

4. Paint with Chalk It Up Avocado  Pie, Lemon  Bar and Rock Candy in the middle, making a kind of a scene. Die cut the tree with a die, glue it over the tin with Gel Medium and paint over the die cut tree with the same green and yellow paints.

5. Die cut the sleigh, paint it with Huckleberry Cobler (not shown on the photo) and glue it over the tin with  gel medium.

6. Add a few splashes of Ann Butler's Pearl Iridescents paint  to imitate the snow  on the die cut tree and under the sleigh. Add fabric sentiment (PHP)  and your winter tin cover is done. Cover the whole finished cover with a thin layer of Gel Glaze.

Altered hanger with Makin's Clay

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Makin's Clay post!
Today I am going to share an altered/recycled project that became a lovely home deco piece.
I have this wall hanger for ages and I don't really like the cheap look of paper over it, also the roses are pretty. So with some work and some Makin's Clay I made a hanger that I do like and will use on my wall.

Step by step instructions:

1.Roll 20 gram of Terra Cotta and 20 gram of Brown Makin's Clay. Flatten it  with Makin's Roller to be used in Makin's Ultimate Clay machine.

2. Use your Makin's  Ultimate Clay machine  on setting #2 and make a mix that imitate wood. It should be the hanger size, around 3*4''.
3. Use wood grain texture from Makin's Clay texture sheets set D  over this piece and help yourself with Makin's Clay roller from the tool set.
4. Cut the textured clay with straight cutting tool from Makin's Clay proffessional clay tools set to fit the hanger as shown. Glue the clay " wood" over the hanger.

5. Use Leaves push mold , the roller and olive green Makin's Clay to make some leaves .

6. Use flower and bee molds to make 2 big flower and 2 bees with white clay. I used some Russian molds that work perfect with Makin's clay.Let then dry and trim the edges if needed.

7. Paint the leaves and flowers with Earth Safe Finishes Iridescents paints. Those paints are Gel Medium based and leave fantastic shiny look over Makin's Clay shapes. The only problem is that this paint has a very long drying time, not minutes, but even hours.

8. And now  for the finished project! I added heat embossed chipboard on the back and arranged those leaves, flowers and bees.
Close ups to the shapes- can't show the shine on those photos, but it looks gorgeous.

Joy- Peace- Kiss tag with Two paper divas

Close to December 25 I make a lot of Christmas tags, cards and ornaments. Also we are Jewish, but I have a lot of friends around and I do send them some Holidays love each year.
So this is a tag I made with Canvas Corps paper, canvas and cardstock and with TPD lovely  Holidays stamp set called Holiday Bingo Words 2. This is a set full of sentiments and you can arrange them as you wish- one, two, three or eve more.
So I made this circled sentiment with 3 of words from this set. Everything else is just paper and paper. Easy to make tags and very fancy after all.

Happy Holidays ornament tutorial

I love Christmas, also as I am Jewish, we don't celebrate it. But part of my family lives in USA and I also have a lot of friends there, so I craft Christmas projects as gifts and I love to make some ornaments too. This one is a flat ornament made on a base of a chipboard frame with some more chipboards over it, but the background cardstock and all paints are CC only and
with one single sheet of this cardstock you can make like a dozen of similar ornaments too.

Product list:
Cardstock- Canvas Corps
 Paints- Canvas Corps
Cord- Canvas Corps
Chipboards- Tando Creative
Glaze- Ranger
Embossing powders- WOW!

Step by step tutorial:

Paint the bare round frame chipboard with a thick layer of Ruby DIY paint and let it dry.

. Paint lower chipboard with a layer of Ebony DIY paint and let it dry

Add a Happy Holidays tag on the back of your painted frame and glue it on the back of the frame.

Paint the snowflakes chipboards with a thin layer of Crystal DIY paint and add a thick layer of
white glitter over the wet paint. Let the paint dry.

5. Arrange the black painted chipboard and the white painted snowflakes over the red frame as shown and glue them over the frame. Add some Crystal paint drops over the frame and glitter
them too.

6. Cover the inside of the frame and over the black chipboard with a thick layer of glaze. Let it dry for a couple of hours. Tie the piece of red waxed cord to finish your hand made ornament.

And one more look over the finished project.

Chalkboard card with Rubber dance

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Rubber Dance post.
It was awhile since I made a simple card. But then this card maybe seams to be simple and yes, it;s clean, but there are a lot of techniques used to make it.
I love this chalkboard trend a lot. But I usually try to find my own way and don't use just black chalk paint or black cardstock to make this trend visible. So for this card I used black pigmented ink over white cardstock and made  borders with torn paper , so after the black ink was dry I added some light brown (Tea Dye) distress ink over the borders to get this distressed look of the board.
I stamped Rubber Dance sentiment using Something Wonderful set with white pigmented ink and heat embossed it with white powder. I like to use white ink to be able to see the stamped image before the embossing. With clear embossing ink you hardly can see the stamped image and never can be sure you stamped it right.

The frame was die cut with CLD Cardmaker's dies; inked with the same Tea Dye ink and then heat embossed with thick embossing clear powder to get this grungy textured look.
