I am a star-ITSF color challenge DT

This lo was made for IF THE SHOE FITS color challenge of black- red and orange colors. This great photo is a real sea star my DH met in his Red sea diving vacation. I used Dcwv black scalloped texured cardstock,some Creative imaginations lace paper, some fibers, AC Thikers alphas and Heidi Swapp invisible chipboard inked with some distress Ranger inks.

This was my first time to try this " lots of free yarn " technique- you just

leave it free and add some glue dots wherever you want it to stay.

Great use of all old yarns from ages ago.

MY 1 & ONLY- ITSF SKETCH CHALENGE DT

This lo was done for 11/13 sketch challenge og my If the shoe fits DT

This is a great sketch and I decided to dedicate this one to my DH for 27 years .I used 2 photos from different periods but so- so him , lots of stamping (Unity ), lots of hand journaling and a bit of our family joking (Daddy's salads are my DH home made salads better than supermarket ones and we actually did some logo stickers for this once - but I didn't keep it.. )

This week on IF THE SHOE FITS we have color challenge- orange- cream- kraft .I decided to do girly lo with these non- girly colors and I like the result.

This is my DN Tamar just after here bath- and as she is 10 now - all her rubber duckings are out.. On this photo she is still 6-7- so the journaling is about her duckings.

I did some misting here and cut the outer circle form shaped MM pp and used this adorable Prima duckling. I painted chipboard shapes with acrylic and added some glitter on.

As for other challenges- not too much- but still...

At "If the shoe fits "we got the challenge to do Halloween themed work-

also I did 2 Halloween cards before I decided to do lo about our jewish

" kind of Halloween" and it is called PURIM.I used an old photo of my 3 kids dressed up- after 7 th grade they just stopped to ask for costumes.

Lots of same- and not same- so as my journaling I did some list of things for both to compare.We have costumes (even all these ghosts and black cats too), but we celebrate it in spring time. We eat lots of candies and all other sweets- we even send it to our friends and family- but we don't ask " Trick or treat"- we just give it.

We also give some donations of money on this day and it's colorful and full of joy and not so spooky at all.

I used BG productd on Dcwv shaped cardstock, lots of hand cut pp, some journaling spot with acetate,some stickers, 2 K&CO butterflies and hand writing- I got all BG stash from SIC on my June win on their challenge - thank you JAZZ!!

DREAM- IF THE SHOE FITS DT TAKE 10/23

This lo was made for If the shoe fits- scrap it color challenge of blue and silver- and it was good for wedding lo . The onlu silver I have here are silver stickles and a ribbon- but I sure have lots of blue . The intersting thing in my son's wedding album is using all colors - really- I did every single color we have - but less pink - red and black than usual.

MY DRESS- IF THE SHOE FITS DT TAKE 10/16

This weeks challenge on IF THE SHOE FITS (my DT take) was to use bling- a lot of it.
THIS LO WAS FEATURED AT CARD OF THE WEEK . COM AT 10/17- THANKS!! So I took the most glittered pp I've ever had from DCWV and this great photo lo of my DDIL loving... her dress.
It is very simple lo- just to show that this busy paper is all you need- I just added some crystals on the photo - exactly where she had ones on her dress and ears and some ATD title , Martha Stuwart journaling spot and K&CO

"my dress" chipboard and brackets. I also added some stickle clear glue on these brackets as this is all about sparcle in this challenge

CHILDHOOD- IF THE SHOE FITS DT TAKE- SKETCH 10/9

This LO was made for IF THE SHOE FITS sketch challenge (DT) and it's for my childhood album- I have 4 LO-S now (2 of me a baby and one with my mom)- so

here is one with my grandpa Ruben- the only photo I have with him and it was taken 6 months before he died from a stroke in his medical clinique.

This LO is pure memory of my early summers- all of us grandchildren came to grandparents house wirh huge garden- mostly cherry trees and small wooden house built for us and I still remember the cherrie's taste eaten from the tree.

I used a lot of masking and misting on this LO, stamping with Unity stamps, stickling, 3 d cuts from WEBSTER pp,glossy accents and I think the most important here is my journaling- you can enlarge it and read.

This time " Happy birthday " card
This is partly recycled one- the base done from PRIMA bling packaging- I love these dots!! Than BG pp on some yellow " no name" cardstock with BG tag on the corner stamped with HERO ARTS sentiment, K&CO black lace, Prima flower and blings 3 bugs are Dress it up buttons
The red flower is my own fabric die cut and I also distress all my paper with distressing brown ink.
This card is unusual size- about 9*4.5''
It was done for My graffico challenge- they took MELISSA'S sketch - so it's same one twice

This is my first DT work for IF THE SHOE FITS- SCRAP IT- design team and I really hope they like it- I do

The color challenges are usually hard to me and I never know in LO if we can use whites/ blacks and neutrals too- so I do my best not to.

We have lime green- pink and black color challenge here and I am good with all these on this LO.

The basic is K&CO Que sera sera cardstock- but as I did the Tim Holtz masking with brown TATTERED angels mist- the original paper is lost.

I did the DCWV cardstock matting with lots of distressing, also added PRIMA journaling spot, some faux rub on stitches from K&CO , MM metal clips, MM alphas, PRIMA flower and black felt, JOLEE'S pink crown and Anna Griffin black brad crown

And as for other challenges:
