For someone special card

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to share a very delicate card made for some print submission. As a such I made it not so much messy and just in a couple of colors, with delicate stamping and the only bulky tings here are those Tando spool and scissors and some wooden inked buttons.
Both Tando chipboards were painted into white, inked around and then heat embossed with clear powder all over them.
I used stamps from Visible Image, Tim Holtz and Inspired by Stamping to make this card.
 This card was print published in the latest print issue of Rubber Stamp Madness, but never posted on web. So this is a time to post it and even to enter it to some web challenges.

Tando recipe

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Tando inspiration.
This is a TANDO recipe week and our recipe for this week is one square (the art piece shape), two stamps (Stampendous Kaffee Klatch set you can buy from Tando) and three obvious buttons over the piece.
I made it with Tando Bullseye  stencil  and DecoArt Modelling paste and the whole Media line from DecoArt that is in Tando shop.
Tando chipboard flowers from Flowers with stems grab bag  were just painted with black fluid acrylic paint and so were  painted the edges of this piece that was made over Tando packaging. What a great use and makes my Green soul happy!

Love - in retro

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new DV post.
Today I am going to share two of the new dies that were just released and I need to say that this time I am totally in love with them!
Maybe it's my " old" age-but all things RETRO just make my day.
 And those gorgeous retro dies from this new release were just great to try some techniques too.
So here is my Love card for you !

First I made the glittered background over the thin double sided glue sheet. I use 3-4 fine glitters to get this colorful background.
 The Love (Retro love ) die was die cut from the same glue sheet and covered  with red glitter and then glued over the background.

 The same was done with one of the flowers from the Retro Van set. I decided to add some buttons and not to add more die cut shapes as I wanted to leave a bit of background seen.

Good friends layout with Canvas Corps

A page I've done some time ago for Canvas Corps and it was never yet posted.
So here they are- my lovely grand kids in those non kiddies colors and they look Fantastic!

I (heart) Paris tray

My new lovely heart tray made with Paper House Productions 3d stickers and Paris papers and with Tando heart shaped tray.
I added a few vintage buttons in gold to make it fancy and a few ribbons on the top.
The rose is my own hand made embellishment - casted with ETI Easy cast resin into a mold and the misted with Tattered Angels mist over it.

Ann Butler's and Deflecto blog hop

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Ann Butler's and Deflecto blog hop.

Ann Butler's team got a couple of clear frames to alter. I need to say that I ruined the smaller one trying to use texture paste over stencils and  I didn't really love the result.

So I moved to Plan B and this was " make something cute and easy that anyone can make and try not to ruin the second piece too".

And this  large Deflecto frame is what I made after all.

I used medical tape (kind of thick washi white tape) and colored it with Ann Butler's Crafte's inks from Clearsnap. 4 colors were used here: Berry, Sunshine, Aquamarine and Limelight.

With the very same colors I inked  some small bare wooden buttons and after those were totally dry, I added them over the tape.

The inside piece is my tribute to this " Keep Calm" slogans all over the web. My way to see it became to 

"Keep Calm and.... whatever" and I really like my own slogan.

And this is a kind of " less is more" project after all. I like the colors of the frame and I would use it  as a part of my home decoration.

Just because card with TPD

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second June post made for Two Paper Divas.
This time I used 2 stamps from Paper Elements #1 set. Actually I am sure that those stamps are perfect for scrapbooking/mini books; but as I was not in this scrap mood I decided to make the opposite and to use those gorgeous stamps for the card. I stamped each one  twice with two different, but matching inks and then added some sentiment from a couple of other TPD sets.

I just added a single office clip in the matching color and this card was done. Make it on other masculine colors and it can be a perfect Father's day card too.

Love your decisions with Rubber Dance

New card I made with stamping over cork and heat embossing the stamped images.
I also stamped over the wooden buttons with permanent black ink.

Lucky me with Lucky stamps AND IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today is my Birthday - and I am not going to say how old I am, but I sure am going to say how lucky I am.
I am lucky to have great family, lovely home, great hobby and a lot of fun.
So here is my Lucky card , made with Lucky Me Two Paper Divas stamps for the lucky St. Patrick day.
I used green cardstock as my basic card and added a piece of light gold glitter cardstock over it. Sorry that it looks silver, it's a gold as my golden luck.
Then I stamped the main image and colored it with distress markers. The whole image was die cut into this flower shape as I don't have any shamrock one. I added this wooden 5cent embellishment and a few buttons and stamped this lucky sentiment.

Maculine card with Inspired by Stamping

Hello my dear crafty friends! This is my masculine new card made with Inspired by Stamping gorgeous masculine stamp sets.

Masculine cards are very hard to make. You should use  special colors, not to add too many embellishments and to have good stamps.
I think the main point is GOOD STAMPS! And those two sets from IBS are just the best!
I stamped a scene using Masculine tags 2 set with brown ink and clear embossing powder over it and die cut it with IBS Fancy  Labels 2 die set.
Then I added another die cut- bigger - to make the stamped image matting.
Then I stamped the sentiment in the same way using Guy Sentiments set and hand cut the shape. Some wooden buttons are the only embellishments on this card.

Step by step instructions:

1.Use paper with birds as your layout base. Cut the beach paper to 8*8'' square and adhere it over the basic paper as shown.

2.Cut a strip of a " wood like " paper from the same pad and punch it with circled punch. Adhere the punched strip vertically as shown. Add a strip of a blue lace tape and a piece of blue ribbon near the punched strip.

3. Glue the main photo. Make tag from another photo and mat it with the light blue paper left from the strip cut.

4. Stamp the sayings and make a hand made tickets from the stamped sayings. Adhere all three tickets as shown. Glue the 3d title  over the photos.

5. Make 2 embellishments clusters with stamped and die cut sea images. Add cork stickers over both clusters.

6. Stamp birds around the page with blue ink and doodle inside the stamped birds with white pen. Add random blue mists around the page. Glue a few buttons as shown.

Imaginarium GD post #3

Hello my dear crafty friends!

Irit Shalom is here again and this is my last post as Imaginarium September Guest Designer.

This time I worked with whatever chipboards left (lesson learned- try to keep more of products for the last post...). But then it was such a fun to make this last layout and I think it really tells a story of my dear 2 and something years old grandson Omer who already was 4 times abroad (even went to Thailand and Italy twice). Those are studio photos I used here, but they were so perfect  for those chipboard frames and a lot of travel stamping I added over the patterned paper.

I used 2 frames to frame 2 very similar photos  and even found the background paper that fits the photos brick background. Both frames were inked with blue distress ink. The criss cross frame was left inked only. The polaroid frame was also heate embossed with clear embossing powder and looks shiny.

 I made the title from two different boards: Favorite came from photo frame and Moment  came from Capture Moment Smile board. Both words and two flourishes were painted with Gelatos and I didn't try to make it pretty: you still can see a lot of paint left " as is". I think it makes it unique. But then as this is water color kind of a paint I added some fixative over the chipboards.

The upper hearts piece was painted in the same way as the title, but then I added some blue paint and mixed it to a different look.
And here are some stamped embellishments I made for this page .All stamps are from Rubber Dance, most of them from Travel set, some from Something wonderful set and some from Collage sets. All together they just made the great add- on to this page.

I hope I inspired you a bit with my kind of scrapping and crafting.

Rubber dance Encouragement card!

My small encouragement card made with gorgeous Rubber Dance stamps, some Wycinanka chipboards, a couple of Prima buttons and a lot of heat embossing and inking around the card.
I made a collage of Travel and Collage  images around the huge sentiment and embellish in this vintage/steampunk style. This can be a great card for a man in your life.

I made this baby boy card in green and blue color with stamped and heat embossed background and a LOT of IBS stamps. Then I stamped the heat embossed sentiment over the white board chipboard with some more stamping over the chipboard and some misting over the stamped image. 

I hope Grace loves it!

Inspired by Stamping July new release: Art of selfies lo

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Inspired by Stamping new July release.
Today is the last day of this gorgeous release and we are going to show you Chevrons  stamps set. But as I made a layout, I decided to use at least three of new released sets over this project and also used Planner set and Friends   set.

I made with page with PHP  products- mixed collection and Art 3d sticker title and I think it's very trendy to make a page with Photo booth strip of selfies. Yes, actually the photo booth photos are bad selfies and always were. This is my pretty daughter Nitzan- the dark one- with her good friend Anna- the blond one- making funny faces over the strip.

 I used this Friendship sentiment to show this good friendship; lots of chevrons and other background stamps from all sets over this Mixed Media page. Then I made a kind of stamped journalling with Planner words that can be used here and not for a planning only.

Cornish Heritage Farms Make your stamped background challenge

Hello my dear crafty friends! Welcome to Cornish Heritage Farms new challenge and this time we challenge you to make your own stamped backgrounds with background stamps.
 Here is my almost clean and simple card and yet I used  one background  stamps and 4 stamps from another set.

First I made my stamped and white heat embossed background using 2 stamps from Beautiful set.
The whole piece was then inked around with red ink.
Then I made the front panel using masking technique  with Beautiful sentiment and a scroll stamp with red embossing powder heat embossing .The stamped image was covered with a mask and I stamped the whole background  Lined Paper backgrounder stamp over the sentiment. The panel was then cute to fit my  card layout and embellished with felt heart shaped buttons , some bling and twines.

Sweet stamps : Bows, buttons and pins

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Sweet Stamps new weekly challenge.
This week to invite you to play with Bows, buttons and pins. As you can see, my fancy tag has them all: a big fancy bow, some random buttons and a couple of pearl pins over the bow. I made the background with a die cut and the tag was made with a mask and texture paste, then misted with a gold/pink mists.
The main image is this gorgeous Love Birds one stamped with pink embossing powder over the white ATC size cardstock and then misted with 2 more mists all over.
The sentiment was stamped with the same pink embossing over the black punched circle.

Happy Father's day with Die- Versions new May release

Hello my dear crafty friends !
 Today I am going to share a card I made with a few of new, just released,
 Die - Versions dies  for Father's day.

As we all know, making  masculine cards is a very challenging work. We all struggle with those masculine themes and colors. But if you own a few of DV new released dies, made to make your crafty life easier, you can make a lovely card with minimum supplies and a minimum  work.
This Happy Father's day card was made with a piece of Tim Holtz Kraft cardstock over the teal cardstock base, with half (keep the other half for another projects) of Funky Octagons Background die cut from the same teal cardstock.

The die cut sentiment - Happy Father's Day- was die cut frm the samer cardstck, but then I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and got this rich teal glossy look. I added Sweet Spots Angel Wingdie cut from the basic black cardstock over the zipper trim and thin twine.  The last die cut was this new Sweet Wordlets " I love you"  sentiment, but I skipped the word " I" and left two others.

I think this is a good masculine card in basic colors and  with a strong masculine effects ( zipper trim, wooden buttons, jute string ).
