We Are your past altered canvas

This is my new altered canvas made for some web challenge.

I made it with a lot of chipboards - positives and negatives and added some letters. Then I discovered that letters W and R made this " we are" thing and added the sentiment " your past".
It's a kind of a travel in time- to old world and old and odd things.

Memories Door canvas

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This canvas is a first of a few Mixed Media projects made  this month just for some web challenges.
So this is my door shaped Memories canvas and it's also perfect notebook cover (if I decide to add it over the same size notebook or journal). I made over the stencilled canvas with chipboards  hand made door over. I used a lot of stencils over the piece and a huge mix of mediums, paints, waxes and mists.
More then Dusty Attic chipboards there are a clay mold piece, a few metal pieces, Prima and other flowers.

Fly away tag

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post!
This is a tag made with Scrapmatts stencils and chipboards and Papericious paper collection.
It's a kind of encouragement tag and I made the double sentiment saying : Go and find yourself and then fly away".

Both sentiment parts are arranged over the Scrapmatts chipboard pieces made with cardstock and stickers.
Chipboards were painted with Prima Spark and Metallic paints.
I used two stencils for the textured background, but only the lower one is still seen.

Summer canvas

This altered canvas was made with Parickley Pear rubber stamp Life doesn't have to be perfect as the statement using Tando Creative  and Tim Holtz stencils, DecoArt texture paste, different mists and Creative Embellishments chipboards. The image is from Tim Holtz Lost relatives set and the background cardstock is from Canvas Corps. I made is totally  monochromatic as lately I am in love with yellow and 50 shades of grey (not the book, the colors only).

For someone special card

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to share a very delicate card made for some print submission. As a such I made it not so much messy and just in a couple of colors, with delicate stamping and the only bulky tings here are those Tando spool and scissors and some wooden inked buttons.
Both Tando chipboards were painted into white, inked around and then heat embossed with clear powder all over them.
I used stamps from Visible Image, Tim Holtz and Inspired by Stamping to make this card.
This card was print published in the latest print issue of Rubber Stamp Madness, but never posted on web. So this is a time to post it and even to enter it to some web challenges.

Tando with black modelling paste

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first June post in Tando blog.
This week we were challenged to use Black modelling paste on our projects and I used it the very first time as I usually just add black paint into white paste. But the black one works just perfect!
I made the background with Tando Harlequin mask over Tando Media board and then heat dried  it the get some bubbled texture.
Then I used whatever was left to cover Tando Letters negative and to glue it over the board.
The golden colors was made with  a mix of mists as those mists usually have some mica powders inside and Bingo- you get this gold on black texture with mists only and no paints used.
Actually even the metal flower, metal sign, Tando chipboard book sign and the clay bird were only misted.
And you can see how gorgeous those mists look on totally different surfaces.
The edges were covered with DecoArt Media gold acrylic paint.

Mixed Media board 138*74 mm

Altered canvas covered notebook for FaveCrafts

For a very long time I wanted one of those fancy planners, but they very expensive. So I bought one cheap office planner and decided to upgrade it with some of the swag I got during the Blogger event and some of not expensive products I already had at home. I loved the door concept as the planner to the New Year is like a new door opened to the world. I add this HOPE AND LOVE metal sign as a family name and made it in general vintage colors and design, so it can fit my own style. But if you change the colors, stencil designs and flower style you can make it shabby, modern, classic or whatever style you like

The full tutorial is HERE in FaveCrafts blog.
I enter this to some web challenges too:
Embossing- Altairart- the web texture paste was heat embossed with clear powder to  keep the shape forever.

Emerald Creek- Double duty challenge. Here is how I take this double duty thing: it's an atr piece made for challenges, but on the other side it's a planner made to  use. So it's totally double duty one.
Dream in Darkness- not cute, dark, Mixed Media
 Country view challenges- Rust
A vintage Journey- Use three of something- so I have three rows of door panels; three metal pieces; three pearls over the ribbon

Not so fragile after all- art page

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here and welcome you to my new SinCity inspirational post!

Today I made an art page full of bright colors and this page is a tribute to International Women's Day on March 8.
Not too many people celebrate this day, but for those who do and to all women in the World- Happy Woman's Day!
So as you can see the main point of this art page is a saying.
Everyone think that woman is a fragile, delicate , little creature who needs men  to help her.
Big No!
We are not so fragile as we look.
We are not fragile at all.
So this  art piece was done for all strong women on the earth ! I salute you all!

You can find the full step by step tutorial and a full product list in SinCity blog HERE!

I hope you liked my art page and you can sure make the very similar one with our outstanding SinCity stamps that you can buy in the shop.

Urban Queen art page with Tando and Stampendous

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last January Tando inspiration.
This week we are sharing projects made with Stampendous products together with Tando products and my share is this pretty large art page.
I need to say that I am a totally urban  girl. I never liked the country side or too much green around and I adore the city skylines and  all those millions of people around.
So this page was made as my tribute to this urban Love and I made the title sayings: I am an Urban Queen" and added some sticker saying to say more, like " this is my lifetime adventure" and " timeless everyday inspiration".
The art journal page was made over thick white cardstock, covered with gesso.
Then I used Stampendous Urban Cling stamp set stamp set and first the stencil that is in this set.
I added random spots with this stencil and Crackle paste over the page.
The city skyline was stamped over the page with white DecoArt acrylic and as usual, white on white is not much seen.
The green  houses that are seen were stamped with the background of  the foam stamp and the cling stamp and then heat embossed with clear powder and hand cut to be added to the page.
The  walls were cut from Tando Grid Rectangle chipboard and painted with white acrylic paint.
The title was made with Tando Alphas letters over Tando Speach Bubbles pieces and  the whole page, titles included was misted with a mix of several mists.
The last Tando piece  added is this key piece and it means that this Queen got the city key for her own use.

I really hope that you like my Urban inspiration and see you again in a couple of weeks.
