@3: Altered Mixed Media Birthday canvas

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This altered canvas was made for my dearest 3 yo grand daughter (she is 4 now already, but who counts? ).
I made it for three web challenges for January.
The first one is 7Dots Use three colors challenge and I used their cardstock, stickers and tags to make this art piece.

The second one is More than Words and they asked for Birthday with Tags inspiration.
January Main Challenge

The last one is for Scrapki- Wyswaniowo and they asked for vellum. I used printed in gold vellum for a die cut and as a part of my cluster matting.

As you can see I used tons of stencils over the canvas and over the cardstock as a part of my design. Quite a few die cuts added interest to this canvas. I used just two colors of paints and mists to make it a good fit for one of the challenges and there are stamping over the matting pieces and as the main part of the mixed title. The stamps are from Magenta.
A few different mediums were also used to make this canvas, such as white crackle paste and peach pearl stencil paste together with mists and paints from different origins.

Halloween with Topflight stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media/Altered project made for Topflight Stamps shop.
This is a Halloween weeks on Topflight blog and each day one of our designers is inspiring you with an early Halloween project.
As you know I am a big fan of anything altered and Mixed Media, so this is  my Mixed Media Halloween inspiration today: and altered chipboard printers tray  filled with all thing spooktacular stamped bottles and signs.

I used the most spooktacular stamps set from Crafty Individuals UK: Poison and Danger

Crafty Individuals - Unmounted Rubber Stamp - Poison & Danger

So here are some close- ups to the stamped spots inside the tray.
Some images were stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with black fine embossing powder and some smaller images were stamped with black permanent ink. Both ways were  perfect to color with water colors as I did.

For the more interest I added a couple of 3d stickers as a title and to add some dimension .
I hope that you like my post today and inspired with the stamp and die I used.
And if you want to see some more of my work you are welcome to my own  blog.
See you next Friday with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

Your Fearless song art canvas

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to share a large canvas that I made just for challenges.
Once or twice a month I take time to free myself from any DT job and I scroll the challenge blogs to find the themes that I love. Then I make a pretty large project and try to combine a few of these challenges.
So here is the first one for September and you should read a bit about this project to understand the concept.

As you can see I made a tribute to one of the most famous all time artists- Sir Elton John.
For a few last days/weeks there were a lot of TV shows that remembered  Princess Diana who passed 20 years ago.
So one of the things that made me to make this canvas was  Elton's version for " Candle in the wind" that he made for  Diana's funeral.
This canvas has a lot of items that are connected to his songs: you can spot the yellow brick road, the candle over the tags and even this English rose from Diana's version of the song.
The title says Create your fearless song and is actually his  all time most popular "Your song".

I made this page with different stencils from all possible companies.
The paper and stickers are from 7 dots.
The chipboards are also from a few companies, but mostly from Creative Embellishments.
The background stamps are from Unity.
And the paints? Whatever I had.
I really love the outcome of my love to this artist and even the photos were scanned from the CD covers that I own.
I think that I would do some more art pieces in the same style and maybe John Lennon will be the next one.

7 dots- Favorite Artist

More than Words- Grungy and word Fearless

Journey for Scrapki-wyzwaniovo- and this is my artistic journey to my early years that  I make these days.
John Lennon will be the next canvas and so on.

Altered book cover with Art Anthology

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Art Anthology new post.
Today I am going to share  my new chipboard mini book cover made with bare chipboards and gorgeous Art Anthology products.

Here are some close- ups to the painted , stencilled and misted cover.

I decided to stay in grey- blue and purples and to make it vintage dark in just three colors.

Metal pieces, small chipboard plate, fabric and paper flowers were also painted and misted into the matching colors.

And as always I made a full step by step Snapguide tutorial for you that you can see HERE:
Check out How to Make Chipboard Mini Book Cover by Art Anthology on Snapguide.

Altered Steampunk tag

It seams that this month I have plenty spare time , so I made this tag just for some web challenges.
Masculine for Simon Says Monday challenge blog
First it is made with 7 Dots paper and stickers for their Dream challenge.

Then I made it also for Mixed Media and Art blog for the inspiration challenge and it should be small art piece as it is.
May challenge
Anything not cute for Dream in Darkness

I like the saying that I made with mostly 7Dots stickers (parts of different ones) and just added a few sticker letters to make this statement:
Magical dream or you're strong enough to take a challenge and to fly? As you can see if pigs can fly- we sure can!

Inspire canvas

When I have a couple of spare hours I try to make one project for a few web challenges. So this canvas is this project and I really like the outcome.
I hope you like it too.
I used tons of mediums, paints, waxes, metal pieces, micro beads and made my own Foamiran flowers using dies and paints. The saying was made with 7 dots stickers and the chipboards are from different companies, but mostly from Creative Embellishments.

This canvas was made for a few web challenges:
It's a frame up- for Simon Says Monday challenge
Mixed Media World- Anything goes with watercolors (the flowers were watercolored with mists).
7 Dots- My favorite things- Mixed media dark kind is my favorite thing, together with inspirational words and hand made flowers.I used their cardstock from Writer's block collection as my background, but then it's not seen under all MM layers, but the stickers are sure seen.

Use a quote for Vintage Journey- I made my own quote with stickers

Scrap and Crafts- Handmade flowers and I made them from Foamiran (thanks to this shop I could order this great product to Israel a few weeks ago and finally to use it).
Creative embellishments- I used the huge heart with a flourish on this piece- inspiration from CE  inspirational photo and I used quite a few CE products on this piece.
Flowers for Country View challenges
Dream in Darkness- Anything MM and non cute goes

Triple L punched only card

This is a card I decided to make for Cards magazine Punches challenge: using punches only, no chipboards, no dies...  Hard one. I think  I like the outcome and hope they like it too.
I made the background with 5 different border punches and added glitter to fill the glue stripes that were still bare and then added another glue strip with the same glitter on the top.
The stamped part was made with W0W! stamps , punched and misted a bit over. The same thing was done with a sentiment stamp (3 stamps on  one circle).

Fun with my grandson

New funny page made for a few challenges.
I used 7 dots papers - mixed collections, Tando mask with molding paste, LSG mists all over the page, Creative Inspirations chipboards misted , some FWAB blings ad pearls and one wood clock shape.
Apart of long drying time of the masked paste, this is  quite a quick page to do. Misting is fast and fast drying too. Cutting the triangles takes seconds. Gluing the embellishments with glossy accents is an easy, also not so cheap way and to cut an image from your photo  takes a minute or so.
This is want I call " light Mixed Media page": you do use masks, mediums, mists etc, but then all products are " seen" and you still can say the product brand name.

And now for the challenges:
Polka dots challenge for Frosted designs
Geometric shapes with their products for 7 dots
 Sketch for Purple Pumpkin
Seilife style - mood boards- colors, feelings
