Congratulations card with Topflight Stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new weekly Topflight Stamps post.
This week I am going to share my new card made with Leane Creatief most gorgeous doodling stamps and it;s really my very first time ever to use a Champagne bottle and a glass stamps on my creations.

I made a very general Congratulations card in just two tones- pink and black and white and it fits for several events, such as a weddings, Birthdays and just general celebrations of whatever you want to celebrate.

The card layers were made with dies and one was also dry embossed with a kind of bubbles.

The stamped images were heat embossed with black embossing powder and then colored with pink and grey watercolors.
I made white pen doodling over the grey color and black pen doodling over the pink.
The yellow color is actually gold pen, but hard to see the golden sparkle on the photos.
The only embellishments added are those dark pink rhinestones.
The sentiment die cut was cut twice and glued one over another for the contrast.
Here is the stamp set I used to make this card and you sure can see how different it looks if you use different colors for the bottle and for champagne inside.

I really hope that you like my pretty card and you can see more of my work in my own blog HERE.

Tando Embossing week

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Embossing week Tando inspiration.
I was not sure if we were asked to make a project with dry or heat embossing, so I just made one with both.
As you can see the background is dry embossed with Sizzix embossing folder. Then I covered it with clear embossing ink and added Stampendous embossing powders and components to get this dark messed look.
The Tando frame was heat embossed with another Stampendous embossing powder.
The both chipboard birds and the bird cage were also heat embossed with some old puffy embossing powder.
The whole piece was done with recycled base: I used Tando packaging for the background  and it's just a perfect piece for any background.

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last September post made for Two Paper Divas company.
From this post and on I am going to share some print published projects that I made for Holidays ptin magazines issues and they were already published.
Si now I can share them and you can get some Holidays inspiration.

This is a first project to share: gift card bag.
I used Tim Holtz glassine bag that was dry embossed with his folder.
Then I stamped over the free parts of the bag with pigmented inks and TPD gorgeous Pine Branch stamps.
I used two ink colors and two stamps here and heat embossed them to make the color permanent.
The sentiment was stamped with TPD Winter Welcome  set  and heat embossed too and I added a nice ribbon to close the bag.
Great small gift card holder and so easy to make with gorgeous TPD stamps!

Use Tando package for your altered art

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Tando post.
This week we were challenged to use  Tando packaging for our art and this is what I made: a kind of art piece where I made my upper sentiment and add one stamped on the bottom.
I used the longest possible Tando packaging cardstock that is inside each and every Tando product, the grey one. And it has the hole that you can use to hang the final project or to add a ribbon or whatever.
I dry embossed it from the top and then from the bottom as it's too long to fit any embossing folder.
Then I painted it over with a mix of DecoArt Media line metallic paints and then I added even more texture with Tando Doilie mask and DecoArt texture paste.
And then I painted over it again and again till I got this lovely tone of gold .
Tando Zipper was painted with black  and gold acrylics and glued over the packaging piece.
Some white paint borders were added and then I made this " UNZIP YOUR MIND" stickers sentiment and added the stamped one using Two Paper Divas stamp.

Scrapmatts May inspiration

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my May Scrapmatts inspiration.
After two months of scrapbooking I decided to move to some Mixed Media art and to my favorite Steampunk style.
So the first project is this Steampunk book cover I made using DCVW cardstock and Scrapmatts gorgeous stencil and Steampunk pieces.
The background cardstock was covered with letters from Scrapmatts Alphabet stencil using clear embossing ink and gold embossing powder.
Then I added another layer- using Sizzix die and Scrapmatts stencil on the non die cut part of this layer. This time I used Circles stencil  with the same heat embossing technique.
Now it was a chipboard playtime!
First I painted the Steampunk chipboard with DecoArt paints using Andy Skinners faux rust combo of dark grey and dark red  paints.
Then I painted the Wings mostly with dark Turquoise paint with a bit of brown over it. The background  wings layer was painted with gold paint and I glued them one over another with Glossy Accents.
The small chipboard key and key hole were painted with gold paint and a bit of patina antiquing  cream over them, just same as the title words.
I added two chipboard hinges and arranged the whole piece over a kind of book folded leather look cardstock.
Two piece of washi tape were added to make this " book" to look real.

Mixed Media cards with Rebecca Baer-April inspiration post

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my inspirational post made for Rebecca Baer blog and using her gorgeous stencils.
This post is all about cards.
Mixed media card are very trendy those days and with Rebecca's  stencil it's very easy to make a whole lot of cards for any occasion.
My first card is very easy to make and all you need is one great RB stencil , one good big stamp sentiment and some shiny paint.

This first card was made with RB Jamboree medium stencil using gel medium as a medium under the stencil. First I stamped the sentiment with pigmented ink and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I used My Favorite Things sentiment set as those sentiments are big and visible. Then I added the texture with stencil and gel medium and as this stencil has an oval gap in the middle , I just added medium around the gap and not inside it. I added mists from Tattered Angels (three colors, not more, unless you want to get a brown mess) and also dried each mist layer between the misting to avoid the mess. The stamped and stencilled panel was arranged over another layer and then arranged into Kraft base card. The natural twine was glued with the same gel medium to stay on its place as shown.

The second card is pretty much alike, but made with different mediums.I used  Harlequin Damask  stencil with texture paste and then painted it with Earth Safe Finishes Iridescent paint and wiped the paint from the stencilled parts to get this mute and light color over the paste.
Then I stamped another bold and big sentiment over the card with the same heat embossing and added a couple of heat embossed die cuts and more twine.

The last card is a bit different and made with more layers, but still with the stencil as a main part of it. The stencil used is Enchanted Vine one- small stencil that fits the small card panel  in the best possible way.
On this stencilled piece I used two colors mist and as you can see the  teal colored the pasted part of stencil and the copper stayed over the debossed part on the paper. The result is amazing!

Have an Eggs- cellent day with TPD

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first April post made for Two Paper Divas.
Easter is over , but this new stamp  It's all about the egg set is just fantastic to make my own sentiment.
So I used the eggs from the set and made this " It's your eggs- cellent day" using It's your day  TPD  stamp and I just used a partial stamping with TPD stamp and added the stickers sentiment.
All eggs were stamped over  white cardstock using Ann Butler's Clearsnap Crafter's inks in 6 colors: Sunshine, Aquamarine, Tangelo, Berry, Lilac  and Limelight.
The background is dry embossed and I added a few drops from Ann Butler's reinkers over the  front panel.

I love you a watt card with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends! Welcome to my forth post made this month for Two Paper Divas.
This new stamp set called WATT'S UP?  is so adorable and so much full of love and the sentiments are so versatile and can fit a lot of ocassions.
So I made a love card without hearts, flowers or even love colors of pink and red. Simple and clean card and I love it a lot! Hope you like it too.
I made the circle die cut window in dry embossed  panel and misted it with Tattered Angels mists.
The light bulb was stamped to fit the window and painted with watercolors. Then I added a few stickers' stitches (SRM Stickers) and the stamped on the bottom sentiment.
So easy to make and so pretty!

Love card with Makin's Clay

Also the month of Love (February ) is already gone, I still have a few Love/Valentine cards done and this card is one of them.
This is a kind of Mixed Media without mediums card.
I made dry embossing, stamping with heat embossing and then made this fancy 4 layers heart with Makin's Clay and dies.
The red Makin's Clay was rolled  into #4 setting over the clay machine and when it was dry I made 4 die cuts using old Cuttlebug dies. Then I arranged the heart in 4 layers and covered with glaze.
So if clay and glaze are mediums, this should be called MM card. But them this is a totally clean and simple design. OK, I was a bit out of the box with this card, but I really love it.
The small Love stamp is from Inspired by Stamping.

I enter this card to a few web challenges:
