Card inspiration with Scrapberry's

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first June post made for Scrapberry's with their most gorgeous products.
This time I made a couple of cards with two different collections and in two totally diefferent styles.
The first card is kind of a light vintage card that was made with 6*6'' pad of Primavera  paper collection.
Each piece of patterned paper was die cut with stitched rectangle dies and natted over Kraft cardstock.
Then a piece of lace was added over another paper strip.
The sentiment and the embellishments were arranged over this single strip of paper.

The second card was made with a totally different and new paper collection- Home sweet home.
The most interesting thing in this card is the use of the collection printed name as the sentiment on this card.
The paper layers and the tags were die cut from the patterned paper and arranged over and inside the pocket.
The flowers were hand cut from the paper and paper and resin flowers were added to make the full cluster.

Happy New year paper ornament with Scrapberry's

Hello my dear crafty friends and Happy New Year to  you all!
My first blog project for Scrapberry's for 2017 is a round Happy New Year ornament and it is a kind of a card too.
As you can see I used a very new fancy Scrapberry's paper collection named
Elegantly Festive and it was just perfect for this New Year ornament.

The basic layer was die cut from solid cardstock and then I added more and more die cut circles using different cardstock from this fantastic collection.
The smaller circles , including the sentiment from this collection, were die cut with stitched circle dies and the candle was die cut with stitched oval dies.
Then I misted one white flower into the purple color  that fits the general colors of the project.
More small paper flowers were added and the metal charm snowman and a couple of small resin flowers were the final touch of this project.
Silk white ribbon on the top can be used to hang this ornament or if you use it as a card, just as  the extra embellishment.

I hand cut a few shapes (bird and clock) to add them to the ornament.

Vintage hanging with ETI

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new ETI post!
This time I went totally out of my comfort zone and made something that I was not sure  becomes a finished project. But  as you can see- it was a success and I will sure make more of those " papyrus like" pieces in the future.
So here we go:
1. Took a piece of clear thick transparency (not seen, as usual) and spray it with a good layer of ETI Mold Release Conditioner. Let it dry and add another layer (dry it please, again).

2. Take a plastic lid  around the transparency size and put the conditioned transparency over the lid.
Mix a a full small container with Easy Cast Resin according to the manufacturer's recipe and cover the transparency all over. Now let it dry like 2 days and remember to cover it with some fabric or paper  as we don't like all this home dust to invade to our clear casted piece.

3.Now go you your "oldies, but goodies " craft supplies and get this 2 step crackle medium. If you don't have this one, you can find one step in the stores. I just have those old jars of 2 steps and the good thing with them is that you can see this Step 1 coverage as it's white before it becomes clear and you can see the " Papyrus shaped" casted piece over the lid.
Let the Step 1 dry and then add Step 2 (it's clear one  and not shown on my tutorial). Let the second step medium  dry and you have an " old crackled " clear piece to work with on your later steps.

4. Add two eyelets over the dry piece using your favorite eyelet tool (wee all have one, also we forget to use it. So it's our " eyelet time" right now.
Find some good acrylic gold paint and cover the whole crackled piece with a think acrylic layer. Then wipe it with paper towels or even baby wipes. The paint will stay inside the crackles, but the main piece will be pretty clear after this step.

5. Find some tissue paper and stamp your scene with black permanent ink. I used Rubber Dance company  Antique Botanicals stamp set  with vintage flowers and butterflies here.

6. Glue the stamped flowers on the back side of your piece (you can see it from the eyelets). Use a small portion of ETI Easy Cast Resin to make this step and then.... OK, you know: wait till it's dry!

7. Now grab your alcohol inks and cover the tissue stamped  paper with a nice mix of them. Don't afraid to see the very intensive colors. We wouldn't see them this way from the front of the finished piece.

8. Add some lace or ribbons as a hanger to this piece. I even added a butterfly golden charm.
Look how nice this piece is from the front: mute, vintage, really old looking.

As my only tip here- make a few " papyrus" piece at once. The waiting time is  long and each and every  caste piece is UNIQUE!

Inspired by Stamping November release Day 4: Vintage Garden Seed Packets

Hello my dear crafty friends! Today is day 4 and the last one of our new and gorgeous IBS Vintage release. Today all of us used this gorgeous Vintage Garden Seed Packets set andI decided to make a gift card holder.

Also it looks like a card, the dry embossed piece is a glassine bag and it's open on the top (I added 2 wooden clips to close it when you put the gift inside and covered with some washi tape too). I stamped the packet stamp over IBS printable paper. Then I stamped a flower, painted it with a shiny paint and hand cut. Then it was glued with 3d glue and I stamped a sentiment over the frame. Everything else was just the embellishments: 2 die cut leaves under the flower; old vintage piece of lace; metal charm with glued nail blings over it, a big recycled twine bow.
And now for the full least of all our designers. PLEASE, leave them all some love.

Masking technical challenge om Sweet Stamps blog: Fancy tag

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Sweet Stamps Masking challenge.
This week I made a fancy and shabby huge tag and I also used Flourish With A bling lovely products as this my other DT and it was so natural to add those gorgeous blings to a shabby tag here.

I stamped 1900's  Lady stamp over the patterned paper and then stamped it again and cut to use as my mask.
Then I stamped Baroque border stamp over the mask and as you can see the lady is not covered with another stamp, but it's all stamped around and heat embossed with gold EP.
All other things were just " embellish me" kind of crafting.
A huge bow was the last touch on this tag.

And now it's your turn! Play with our monthly masking challenge and you can win!
