2 sleepy angels lo

This page is published in March 2011 issue of SNR magazine
This is the oddest page I ever did. Really. Scrapping babies in Tim Holtz style? But I decided to give it a shot and finally the page is not bad..
I used BG basic cardstock with TH pps, Cheery Lynn Designs inverted circle for journaling embossed with TH plate,Tim's metals, tickets , tape and painted flower, Jellybean Soup letters were covered with Ranger crackled 3d glue, lace punched with MS punch,Prima vintage flowers were and add to the corner and the cloth line made with Inkadinkado stamps,  heat embossed and cut. The entire page was heavy distressed and inked and the journaling is about those unisex names of these 2 babies- I still not sure  who is who after a year..
The colors of the blankets are the color connection to the page and the dots connect this page again
I even think that they look like some  adorable Victorian babies.. LOL..

Endless love mini book

back cover

This album will be published in June 2011 issue of SNR magazine
This mini did Top 5 on Southern girls vintage challenge- thanks!
This mini made TOP 3 on Really Reasonable Ribbon blog challenge- thanks!
This mini album was made with a lot of love for my DDIL who is expecting her first baby in 2 weeks. Those are Studio photos made in Nitzan Hermony studio- for more than 200$ - but we got 200 photos and it means a lot of scrapping to do.. LOL..
So they are gorgeous and a bit vintage style and I decided to make a home made vintage style album using mostly TH items with Cheery Lynn dies..
So the album was cut with French flair scalloped die, I don't have not scalloped kind yet, so the  the cover was hand cut using the die as a template from the outside.
Another die I used on every page for a small one word title is an index one and the last one used here  are 2 hearts  I used to stamp and to sign on the back cover.
As you can see the inside is very minimalistic for me, but had to be this way to stay in elegant shabby style. For the cover I couldn't resist  my love for flowers and added  some Prima beauties.
My DDIL loved it very much and wanted to take it- but I am keeping it for  a while with me..
And some challenges too:
Vintage for Southern girls
Vintage for RRR

"clean and simple"-ok, my kind of CAS, not really so simple
It was a very windy day in August - and I just love those photos showing this " going with the wind" things in combintaion with Fancy Pants papers and Prima flowers
I stamped some journaling and made some handwrite too, pleated some  paper strip, made punched borders, covered a grungeboard  with distress inks and powder and changed a metal bird color with alcohol inks.

Altered cross stitch hoop

This work will be published in March 2011 issue of Scrapstreet magazine
My new altered item- lo: done with Webster shaped paper over a wood cross stitch hoop and the hardest part was to make the paper page stay inside- so I just added some 3d glue around the edges and it worked.
Not much of inside, but a photo of my DN Tamar with lots of Webster pages cut outs from 2-3 paper lines, trims and some metal   and plastic belli from MM- a great one that can be used as a jewelry piece too.The AC Thickers used as a title  for this one..
I entered this one for Scrapbook express shaped page challenge.
And Anything goes All sorts challenge

Hannukkah card and tag

This card and tag were made for my weekly post on Cheery Lynn blog- so you can read about the supplies and techniques there.
Also Hannukkah is over this year- but still it's a Holiday season- so I decided to do this couple of items after all.
Just for a short explanation:
8 is for 8 days of Hannukah lights, the Menorrah(we call it Hannukkia) is 8 candles adn one cllaed Shamash that we use to lighten all other candles- so it's 9 on the card, the brick embossed wall is for the Temple wall as this Holiday is about the oil found in the Temple and a small dreidel on the corner is the favorite kids toy for this Holidays.

Day of love lo

This page was published in April 2011 issue of Scrapstreet magazine
My latest page was made with another new print of my DDIL wedding photo.. I did a whole  wedding album- actually about 75 pages for the young  couple. but now I decided to scrap one regular 20-30 pages album for us, as the groom's parents and this is the 4-5th page of it..
So it's absolutly pure Prima page with some faux stitching  and Tando creative pair of huge swirls painted with white acrylic paint and glittered just a bit with some pink glitter..
LOL- I can even call it " multiphoto lo"- thing that is very special for my scrapping style..
And this sparcling page was done for Coordinates collection Dec hop- use sparles, and I used a lot of them

Twilight sea lo

This page was published in Jan 2011 issue of SNR magazine
This is my very first post for Cherry Lynn designs DT blog.
I just got my package 8 hours before this  post  as the postal service in Israel is  very old fashioned one and my dies travelled  all over the country before I got them finally.
So I just had a few single seconds to decide what I am going to scrap- and it was shouting: scrap a  sea..
So scrapping a sea it was.
This page is from one of my  twin daughters last August vacation in Thailand and a very new photo prints just made for this page.
I used quite a few of Cherry Lynn  dies here as you can see :
The Waves border was  die cut from  patterned paper, the shells  were  die cut  from Sea shells border  die and I also cut the shell stripe to  single shells.
All small shapes were inked with some distress inks and adhered with 3d dots.
Then I added  the seagulls on the top of the lo and cut some Expression bubbles as  clouds..
There were 2 kinds of bubbles on this die, also the product description shows one  only..
Even better, don't you think?
I also misted them with some blue shiny mist  on the upper right corner of the page  to add some interest to that empty corner.
3 photos were  die cut and matted with 2 sizes of  large Scalloped coved rectangles  dies-
what a pleasure to use dies that fit photos and not card making only!!
The dark blue cardstock was dry embossed with She sells sea shells XL embossing plate and distressed with some home sand paper.
The circle journaling spot was a  kind of  mistake:
I tried to dry emboss the grunge Raindrops  die on some sticky canvas - but did it from the wrong side, so I  just used the canvas back shiny  embossed  paper, heat embossed it with some clear powder, misted with some blue mist and cut with small inverted circle die (the biggest one from this set).
It's very hard to see the embossing  after all- so just try to imagine it, will do it better nest time - from the canvas side, I hope.
Here is a full post on Cheery Lynn blog- with dies and everything.
So see you there too!!

This page was published in Feb 2011 SNR issue
This is my take for December 1 st sketch for Scrap with V
I did it with ny DN  old photo  in shabbt style using Pink Paislee SWEET line and I even used the paper names for my word journaling(all pink ones)
All flowers were cut from the paper, glazed with 3d glue and  made 3d kind of..
The butterflies are rub ons, some pieced and glazwd too. I also used a rub on  over this white jouranling shape on the corner and the only non Pink Paislee items here are the green ribbons, a buckle and pearl strings.
 And some challenges too:
Layers for Design dollies- I have moethan 5 in the middle of the page
Layers and 3d effects for Lasting memories
