Make art everyday : Unity challenge card

This is my first time to try Unity montly challenge. I used the card sketch with Unity stamps, including Ann Butler's Faux Quilting Unity 2'' set and Ann Butler's Clearsnap Crafter's inks as my watercolors. The card is made with whitewash technique and I added Creative Embellishments chipboard and die cut from 2 Cheery Lynn basic oval sets. The final touches were some CIP paint drops  over the cardstock.

Inspired by Stamping March release- second post

This is my second card made for our delicious March Inspired by Stamping new release and this time I used a single sentiment as my focal card point.
I stamped with green ink over patterned paper to stay in this 3 colors scheme and just added a lot of layers under and over this  IBS sentiment. The lower layers are home die cuts; the upper layers are white chipboards covered with a bit of mist and glitter.

Sweet stamps SWIRLS

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Sweet Stamps Swirls week!
This is a card I made with a lot of SS products. The swirls were stamped over SS vellum with white SS ink. Then I stamped the central piece with AF SS stamp and balck heat embossing.
The leaves   and a butterfly are SS dies and then I just added some Prima crystals and one flower. The lower small sentiment was stamped over the background vellum and my  fancy card was done.

Now it's your turn to play with our weekly Swirls challenge and maybe you will be our WINNER!

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today and I am going to show you my take of our Same, but different week in Tando blog. During this week our design team is going to show you our take of new released Grass flexistrip.
Those strips are really versatile- you can use them for layouts and cards, but as they are flexible, you can use them for 3d projects or to arrange them in 3d way as I did in my new totally Tando wall deco.

You are hoot

My dear grandson is my major inspiration those days. So when I got this gorgeous Hoot line of paper and stickers from Paper House Productions, it was just natural to make a layout with his  delightful cute smile.
This is an easy layout with a twist: the heat embossed stamped frame is my twist.
I made a chipboard frame with 2 rectangular dies and then covered it all with clear embossing ink. 4-5 layers of white embossing powder were added to the frame . Then I heated the frame section by section and stamped into the hot embossing powder with Ann Butler dotted stamp from Stripes.Dots. Hearts set.

Next  I inked the cool stamped texture with a mix of Ann Butler's inks - such as Berry, Aquamarine, Limelight and Sunshine

Next I punched a few paper circles from the leftover paper and stamped with Ann's one stamp from her Doily Picnic stamp(Unity)
The stamped circles were arranged over my layout and  some cute stickers were my final touches.

It's so easy to make such a frame with any of Ann Butler's Designs- just pick your favorite and go ahead.

 Mists: Lindy's Stamp Gang

3*4'' photo

Step by step instructions
1. Use the mask to make sunshine rays with embossing paste. Let it dry and mist it with a mix of yellow mists.
2. Cut the wide strip of brown side of the paper from the pad, make circled border with a punch and adhere it on the middle of your basic paper. Die cut doily and lace strips with the same paper, some from the brown side and some from the fall scene side. Stamp some big wild flowers (Unity stamp) with white ink over the paper. It's hardly seen, but gives more interest to the page.
3. Take the second sheet of your basic paper and make 3 rectangles using the pink with flowers side. Use the binding edge and lace punches to make the borders and glue all 4 pieces over the brown strip as shown. Add 2 metal staples to connect this paper cluster in the nice way.
4. Die cut the XOXO frame, heat emboss it with white powder and mist a bit with yellow mist. Glue the photo under the frame and adhere it over the paper cluster. Add a 4 chalkboard pieces cluster over the left photo corner as shown.
5. Heat emboss the title with yellow powder and adhere it under the photo. Stamp the circle, Loved word etc over the leftover pink paper and adhere them as shown. Make chalkboard pen journaling over the solid sticker. Add pearl flourish as shown and add one canvas sticker over the paper cluster on the top.

Happy birthday card with Inspired by Stamping

I love those Create blog challenges a lot as those are themes or products ones, not colors or sketches, so I make a card each 2 weeks for the new challenge. This  one is for stitching as I don't sew, but I sure like hand stitching here and there.
So here is my card made with one single Inspired by Stamping sentiment and then just a lot of hand stitching and collage centred cluster of embellishments.

Stamped magnets with Ann Butler's products

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again with my easy to make, but fancy ART MAGNETS.
A few years ago I was a polymer clay addict. Then I moved to paper crafting and scrapbooking, but I still remember those dirty nails days and a special oven I kept for polymer clay baking. So when I got this Makin's air dry clay in my DT box I knew that I am going to use it (anyway, I don't need this old oven to bake it as its self drying clay). So here are my lovely and very easy to make magnets made with Ann Butler's delicious stamps: Monograms and  Faux Quilting 2'' .
Let's begin!
1. Cut a piece of White Makin's air dry clay, make a ball and flatten it with Makin's tool as shown. Try to make it at least 1/4'' thick as we want it to be rigid to use it as a fridge magnet.

2. Pick your favorite cutter, but remember that we are going to use Ann Butler's Monogram stamps, so 2'' letter must fit the cutter size. I picked heart shape as I thought about heART doing this project. Cut the clay and keep the leftovers for the future use (in a good plastic bag and
even two! Remember that this kind of the clay is air dry one!)

This is a shape we are going to stamp over. Make 3 of them for the final project.

3. Now it's a stamping fun time! First stamp the monogram letter from EZ-De's Flourish 2''
ABC'S stamps in the middle of your clay shape.

4. Now stamp around the letter with 2'' cling stamps from 2 sets listed on the bottom .Stamp it three times around the letter for this "like triangle" shape. If you use other shapes it can be less or more of background stamping. Use different patterns over different magnets or combine different stamps over the same magnet. I used the same stamp over each single piece and three different patterns for the whole project.

5. Use a make- up sponge (or any fancy tool you have) to add Ann Butler's Crafter's inks to
your totally dry magnets. Make it a few times to make the more saturated colors.

6. Let the inks dry for a few hours (don't use the heat gun as it may change the shape a bit) and then cover it with a think layer of Glossy Accents or any other glossy coverage.
Here is my final project

Now it's your turn! Get some gorgeous Ann Butler's stamps and inks and make a lot of easy made magnets for yourselves or as small gifts.
Products used:
Ann Butler's products
Crafter's inks: Limelight, Aquamarine, Berry
Other products
Glossy Accents (Ranger), heart shape cutter
See you next month with more ANN BUTLER'S products inspiration.
