Mr. and Mrs titles are not just for new weds

This page was published in SNR  July 2012 issue
For this vacation page I decided to use this Mr. and Mrs. A2Z Scraplets title for a non wedding lo. I just made it about us: 29 years together as Mr. and Mrs. and still together in love  and fun.
I also used Handmade Halo resin flowers as my embellishments, The Rubber Cafe flourish stamp- once black inked and heat embossed with black Wow Embossing powders embossing  and then a few times just a watermark inked with Clear embossing ink.
All chipboard sets were heat embossed with the same embossing black powder from Wow.
All paper products are Lily Bee.

Dream in color

Same issue in this new All about me page. Minimalistic this time and no patterned paper at all. I stamped this Vintage Treasures TRC script stamp with clear embossing ink and then used 7 WOW embossing powders for rainbow stamping over the circle. The black and white are Ranger Enamels.

The white foam letters were painted with CIP paints.
This Tando rainbow shape was stamped with another stamp from the same set and clear embossed over the black ink. Those journaling lines are Basic Shapes 2 stamp with white ink and embossing. Finally I added some paint spots- all colors as my dreams.
Entered to All about me Dream challenge.

Welcome to your Food Boat 7/24

Yes, cruise can be a clear anti- diet thing. You just eat as much as you can and even more. So this vacation page is about a cruise, but mostly about me became fatter.

So I made it with Lily Bee products and sketch, and some Tando chipboards. I even made an origami boat and it's not a Love Boat, it's a Food boat for sure.I also added 2 resin birdies from Handmade Halo shop on the left top corner and a crown glass pebble from Handmade Halo over the compass on the lower right corner as we were treated as Royalties  on the cruise.

Also we had a great time there.

I also added some Handmade Halo goodies and used a lot of WOW Embossing powders on this page. Timeless past wall hanger

This project made TOP 3 on Unique Crafter Challenge- thanks
This Mixed Media piece was made for my spotlighting in Wow Embossing Powders blog team post

I used 7 Gypsies  recyled book covers from old and ugly projects- 2 mediums and one bigger for the middle part, made holes and connected them with some recycled twine and added this 7 Gypsies metal handle
Then I used some 7 Gypsies journaling cards and made a lot of texture with Tando Creative masks and Wow Embossing powders: Suzy West Cotton Candy, Metallic Copper, ,,,,,,,,
I also stamped with Wow stamps Gratitude set.

This flower was made from some synthetic lace  sent to me by Jen, our Team leader, I cut out 2 flowers, covered  them with Clear embossing ink and Wow Candy Cotton and Copper  embossing powders and then heated, and it shrinked and made this gorgeous flower and I also added 7 Gypsies clock handle and Handmade Halo brass clock charm

Then this huge Tando chipboard clock was covered with inks and powders to this vintage look. I used another Tando mask for the copper embossed dots here

The lower part was made a bit more colorful: I added a Halo glass pebble- with clock on it and some Halo  resin flowers in the same colors as my embossing powders and used the clock mask with molding paste and then heat embossed with Cotton Candy powder again.

The swirl chipboard is A2Z Scraplets piece covered with some glitter over a pink paint
Hope you like this altered piece as much as I do.

Bon Voyage card - so easy with TRC stamps

This card was published in SNR July 2012 issue
My new The Rubber Cafe card. So easy to make those Bon Voyage cards with those gorgeous vacation stamps.

So I used a compass stamp with masking technique (the mask was too thick, so we can see a bit of a " white space:, but I still like the result. I used a dark navy ink and clear embossing powder for the Compass. Then I stamped over the mask with Paris Nights Background , Turquoise ink and  a hear clear embossing again.
All paper products are from October Afternoon travel line and I made a sentiment with OA and MLS small letter stickers over my clustered stickers spot.
Then I added a jute RRR ribbon and stamped 2 post stamps - fantastic set of 4 from TRC, cut them around with old and never used decorative scissors.
A few more stickers and Handmade Halo shop embellishments  and my card is done.

And now about  those so called stickers: they are non sticky at all. So I added TRC fantastic Scrap Happy Glue and now it stays on the place.
I remember this Tim Holtz words from the class I took with him: self adhesive stickers are  non- adhesive ones. So much true and  the perfect glue is so much needed after all.

Resist technique tutorial

Today I made a tutorial for Inspired by Stamping and I am going to show you the simple and fun way to make a fancy tag in no time.
Here is the supply list for this tag:
Stamps: IBS Doilies
Inks: Clearsnap Frost White, Truffle Dona Salazar Mixed Media ink
Embossing powder: White
Paints: Tim Holtz Distress stains
Ranger white tag, ribbon, lace, Handmade Halo glass pebble and brass key charm
Step 1: Gather you supplies (the embellishment are not on this photo)

Ink some of your Doilies with Frost White ink and stamp them randomly over the tag. I used to ink with Clear embossing ink and white embossing powder, but I found that white ink +white powder on white cardstock give us the better effect.
As you can see I made my stamping random, and some of stamps are stamped just partly on the edges. Heat emboss it with white embossing powder and let it dry a bit. Just a couple of minutes is enough.

Step 2:Cover the  embossed tag with a mix of distress stains using some make up foam or a real paint applicator. I used 3 different colors of stains, also you can see just 2 on the photo.
Now wipe it with a baby wipe and  your white doilies will be seen clearly over the painted tag.
Step 3: Make a central stamped doily over some Kraft cardstock.
After stamping with white ink  and white powder heat embossing, punch a circle using your circle punch  as I did here or use your circle die  or any other cutting device.
Now add the Kraft circle over some fancy lace with 3d foam glue and add a glass pebble on the middle. You can also use any other round embellishment as your center: brad, button, epoxy  etc.
Make a huge bow  and add some small brass charm over it.
Here is my finished tag

Summer Treasures with TRC stamps

This wall deco project was made for a summer. Also spring is  still in the air, but here, in Israel we mostly have one long summer. So flowers are those summer treasures and The Rubber Cafe stamps were just perfect for this project.

I made the Staz-On stamping  with TRC stamps over this acrylic piece, then backed it with Kaisercrafts paper. The Antique Trunk was stamped over the pale patterned paper with Truffle ink,  heat embossed with Wow Clear embossing powder, hand cut and glued over the acrylic.
I stamped it again and made the opening on the front and added some  bling flowers and stickers, covered with 3D Glossy Accents.

All other sticker were from the same line and glued to make this summer sentiment.
The butterflies were stamped from Vintage Treasures TRC set , heat embossed  with Wow Suzy West embossing powders and  hand cut to fit the upper empty corner.

I also heat embossed the entire piece around with green Wow  powder and Clear embossing ink.
The last touch was this Prima ribbon- old one and so much summery one.

A good life with Robin Nest and Want2scrap

Hello. my dear Robin Nest  friends! Irit is here again and this time with  my new album chipboard cover. I have a lot of 8*8'' pages with some summer and vacation theme and I decided to make this handmade album cover for all those pages (also I didn't decide about the binding yet, so no holes for this time).

I used Want2Scrap huge bracket chipboard as a base, covered with RN gorgeous glitter Kiwi Sorbet  cardstock. The edges were hand trimmed and I used some sand paper for the more sophisticated look.
Then I divided it  with Remember the Magic       ribbonand used some Butterflies in Pastel colors  around it.
The chipboard Want2Scrap shape was  painted with green paint (all paint on this project are from Creative Inspirations Paints) and filled with lots of mini Sprinkles dew drops all over.
This piece was just perfect for the cross over the ribbons.
The Burgundy and White flowers were made , also I misted the white one wist some green and yellow mists (homemade ones)
The upper crown was made from 2 Want2Scrap crowns, each one painted and slightly glittered with Angel Dust glitter. I also added 2 big chipboard swirls under the crowns. The layered crown was embellished with Gold mini Dew Drops  from Regency Mini Dew Drops and a Clippie from Euro Clippies set.

A title is A2Z Scraplets one, painted and heat embossed with Wow Embossing Powders.
This is a summer shiny cover you can made in no time using our gorgeous Robin Nest products.
Hope you liked it.
See you in about two weeks with another RN project.

All stamping was made with brown inks and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped some leaves and flowers again on a vellum and added then for the second layer
Then I added a small tag with this Made with love cute stamp as this is going to be a present
This set has the best words you need for you Mixed Media art, cards of scrapping: Joy, Love and Happiness
I picked one great sentiment from Gratitude Always  set to add near my flowers. I hope you like those stamps as much I do and enjoy my project.
