And I love you so...

This lo was published in April 2012 issue of Enchanting Creations magazine
This page made Top 3 on Quick Quotes blog- thanks!
My most adorable grandson Omer on this new page made with Lily Bee products and with my
" must to use"  Cheery Lynn Designs dies.  It's a kind of " a lot of white space" page again, still full of dies and techniques.
I used 2 Doily dies here: Italian Fluorish Doily and one with Canadian Kaleidoscope Doily
Then 2 cuts of Border Carnivale
Then this Ribbon  Eyelet Border was added with a real ribbon and a bow under the photo
2 sizes of Coved Scalloped Rectangle Small  Stackers were added over and under the photo and as a final touch those Index Cards I love so much were used for my simple journaling on the corner.
I think I can't live without using my Cheery Lynn Designs dies on every single page I do..
You should try  them too- here in the shop, old and new, all are the best of the best!
I also entered this page to Love challenge on Bird is the word

Somewhere over the rainbow

This page was published in Ready- Set- Create web magazine Oct/Nov 2011 issue
This interactive page was quite a project for me.. I did the semi- final round on our first ever Israeli scrapbooking competition and the task for this one was a hard one: use Wizard of Oz inspiration and make an interactive element on your page. I didn't want to take this task " as is" and just to use some temed papers with maybe carnival costumes, so I went to another direction.
The song quote was a main thing on this page and it's kind of a very long title. Then there was no place left for anything, but a small folded book- my interactive one on thei page.
I used Sassafrass products, Tando Creative frame and lots of techniques here:
Painting the frame and the corners with distress paint, hand sewing the rainbow colors over the page; Die cut the folded flower base with sticker and button added for the sun; Distressing and changing the colors of the huge chipboard letters; doodling around letters as part of my title; Making a book with real book board and making the cover with embossed and painted grungeboard.
The inside of the book are my wishes for my girls- all inspired from Wizard of OZ

Here is first opening of the book

And here is the second with my wishes

Hope you like this page- it was a lot of endless work  done here.

There is no place like home

This page was published in Ready- Set- Create web magazine Oct/Nov 2011 issue
New page done with  Wizard of Oz inspiration and some fun technoques:
Fiest one was this Yellow brick road made with office stickers and some mist- I left the stickers on the page .
The second techinque is  to make a castle from wood tooth and BBQ sticks- then to mist it and to cover with some  glue glitter.
The very last one is to make a title with 5-6 different fonts- all were white or bare  and all were misted with the same mist  for the same color.
The cardstock is from Core'dintaions, the PP from Sassafrass Lass and the fonts from Glitz, AC, Maya Road, MME and the old Heidi Swapp mistable type.
I hope you like this page- it was a great fun to make it!
I enter this page to Punky Scraps get picky challenge with use paint, white space and found in the bag objects- tooth picks...

Me@One Pretty Little lo

This page will be published in Scrapstreet  magazine October issue
This lo was done for my first month DT job on Pretty Little Studio company. We got a sketch to use and
here is my take of this sketch- very much alike, not totally similar

Everything paper- but 2 basic pages (PLS doesn't have 12*12  cardstocks yet) is PLS products, lots and lots of them on one single page. I also added Epiphany Crafts felt flower and a button and used some Bottle Cap Inc caps  for the small PLS tags- perfect fit!
This Gazette tag under the photo has a hidden juornaling on the other side of the tag and this is all about little ME page- vintage photo of fatty little baby me.

NO- BODY is perfect

Hello dear Robin's friends! It's Irit here again with another lo full of our fantastic Robin's Nest goodies:
glittered papers, glitter chipboards, glitter journaling spot, Dew Drops and Tear Drops and the final result is this glittery shore summer page.

O yes, this is not NOBODY, but my own No* Body perfect daughter old photo I found when my dear grandma passed away. I've never seen it and it was just great to scrap it with Robin's Nest fantastic products. So everything here, but letters and my basic cardstock is Robin's Nest.
Let's see what we have here: Daisy Stripe Teal cardstock- back side as the second layer over the basic cardstock.
Glitter Water Swirl cardstock , front side, layered over it from side to side and another piece of the back side of the same cardstock layered vertically.
A piece of Glitter Little Boy Star cardstock was added with the back side over the previous two.
Then a thin strip of Daisy Stripe Teal cardstock was added with some 3d foam dots.
A small rectangle of Glitter Little Boy Star cardstock was added as a tab on the right side over the photo.
2 cuts of Cheery Lynn Designs Sea shells at the sea shore border die added under the photo.
The Glitter Teal journaling spot was hand cut and used as a part for the title on the photo corner. I made die cuts of shells and sea horses and used them as my embellishments. Then Sizzix Sand castles dies - #1 and #2 were die cut from Robin's Nest Brilliant Brown Glitter and Glitter Gold chipboards.

Now the real fun began: random misting over this dotted mash I used after all as a part of my photo matting and last, but not least, maybe even the best part were those Plumeria Dew Drops and
Sea Glass Tear Drops added as sand and water. I just added some Ranger's Glossy Accents pure randomly and picked some drops and tears to glue over. Some glossy accents were left bare as a water effect. The last touch were those seugalls added on the tops- die cut from the same Sea border and covered with Ranger's white enamel paint.
And as for non Robin's Nest products here is a list:
AC light blue texture cardstock
MM glitter alphas
AC glitter Thickers and the dies I used from CLD and Sizzix

Some tips from this project: use Glossy Accents as your glue is you want some random water effect.
To cut our glitter chipboard with Sizzlets you need to do it several times- go and back as this chipboard is very thick (great, but not for smallest possible dies)

Think about some fun title- it makes your page!
And as this page is funny and the title is funny- I enter it to Scrap with a song Fun-fun challenge

My wild cat lo

This fun lo was made for Tando Creative " Going wild" Challenge. I had to use Tando products and the theme, so this fun " cat" photo of my DH from some Orlando park was there and never scrapped. Just  be sure: he is not a wild and not a cat, more a  pretty funny lion. So 2 Tando chipboard pieces were added, one covered with glitter and flock and second painted and 3d glued.I also used the very last pieces of Best Creation Safari Boy papers- this was a very first collection I got as their DT member and I used it a lot since

Altered magnet bottle caps calendar

This page was published in Ready- Set- Create web magazine Oct/Nov 2011 issue
My Pretty Little calendar magnet made for my PLS tutorial post.
Once a month we do a full tutorial as our Pretty Little Studio DT job and I made it with Bottle Caps and lots of those cute an pretty little products and the final result is really pretty as it should be.
So here are the steps for this project here in my blog too:
This is an easy project for those who can use a cutter, drill or Crop A Dile and to work with wire on the beginner level.

Product list:

PLS products: Love Noted 4*4 '' paper pad: Let me Count the Ways and Cherish papers

Calendar Cards Vintage 2011- the whole set

Vintage Tags- Be Mine-Little People- 2''- 2 tags from the set as shown on the project

Other products:

Bottle Cap Co. metal caps: Large, Medium, Small flat ; Small epoxy

Flowers: Petaloo

Buttons: Dress It Up

Pin: Webster Pages

Other: ribbons, wire, glass beads

Tools: Circle cutter or punches, wire cutter, Crop A Dile or drill, glue dots, liquid glue.

Instructions:

Step 1: Make 2 holes in both Large and Medium Bottle caps – on the top and directly under it on the bottom and one hole in the small cap using your CAD tool or some other drilling tool.

Step 2:

Cut both Love lines papers into the big circle- 2.5'' one and into the inner- 2'' circle. Cut the Be mine tag to fit the Medium cap using your scissors and cut the last tag to fit the small cap. Add the epoxy over the smallest tag circle and put it aside.
Glue the biggest circle over the Large cap, add the dotted circle as shown. Glue the Medium tag over the Medium cap as shown.

Step 3:

Make a hole in the Calendar tags using your CAD- you can't make it in one step, so do it with half of the pack and then with another half left. Tie the wire around the calendar tags, insert it into the upper Large cap hole, twist a bit, add the glass bead and trim the wire ends as much as possible.

Connect the lower Large cap hole and the upper Medium cap hole same way.
Connect the last two holes same way and now adhere the epoxy covered tag over the small cap.

Step 4:

Tie the bows under the beads as shown. Add the pin over the upper bead.

Adhere some flowers and buttons as shown. Add magnet on the back of the 2 larger caps. Enjoy it…

Tear each month from the calendar when it's over and then you can change it for the next year too.. Or make another one with different PLS products  for the next year.

Mom and her bundle of joy

This page was published in Scrapbooking. com April 2012 issue
This lo was spotlighted in Lily Bee Designs company blog post
This  LO won Scrapping Everyday Miracles challenge #3- thanks
This lo is in Scrapbooks and Cards Today magazine  gallery
My grandson Omer is my scarp star since he was born, but this is a second only page with my adorable
DIL Adi  holding him close to here heart. I used this Lily Bee products stacking to this great color combo that was a fit tou the photo and then I just added layers and some bits and pieces from here and there. Mostly I used my beloved Cheery Lynn Designs dies and there are 5-6 set of them used here
Scalloped French Flair-Large ones- 3 sizes
Border Carnivale was cut twice for the inder the photo  border
Speach Bubble #2 was used for the sub title on the corner
Key die was used for the " Key to here heart" on over the photo
The Arrow #2 die was added to point to the photo- this one is on a Final sale, grab it as long as you can for just 2$ price
Finally I decided to stay with this pretty much white space page and minimun extras, but some buttons, sticker bunners, some Bakers Twine and a mixed fonts title. Then I decided to add some white lace and a couple of brads as for me the page was too " clean". Now I feel it's just right. And this page was spotlighted in Lily Bee Desings company blog too.
Starting tomorrow CLD DT girls will show you our projects using  Core'dintaions cardstock, Core girls DT will do just a same on their blog. Be there- it's going to be a great fun!

21- altered book shaped frame

This altered item is a book cover shape frame I did by myself using a real book binding boards, covered with Pebbles paper and then embellished with Tando Creative Gate chipboard and lots of Cheery Lynn Designs dies. I used all 3 of Small Exotic Butterflies Set- several times, the Tropical Fluorish, Judy's blooms and Darling Daisy set. All cuts were colored a bit with Cleasnap Smootch colors. Some oldies but goodies Dimentional butterflies were  also added inside.
Here is a cover

And the inside of this frame

And this is the frame  standing by itself.

It's easy project to do, even with kids - I mean the basic book  cover shape, not all those cuts.. So I am  going to do a tutorial one day, in the near future, but as next week I am on vacation for 8 days, it will be  only in 2-3 weeks.. Stay tuned!
And some challenges too:

2 of you and 2 of me lo

Hi everyone, Irit is here and I want to show you how we can use a lot!! of Cheery Lynn Designs dies and still have a huge " white space" on your page
So this page made with my twins lovely 4 years old photo (again, you know) was scrapped with not less than 5 dies and only a half of my basic cardstock is full. And it's because I used my border dies mostly, also not only. Again , I could add some fluorishes and flowers and butterflies- but I decided to stop and to make the photo and everything around more visible this time
So here is a long list of dies used on this lo
Border Carnivale
Victorian Picket Fence
Dotties Ric-Rak
Scalloped Diamonds Border
Pennant die
Index card
So see you next week with a bunch of some new projects and in the meantime you are invited to CLD
shop to grab a couple of border dies, or more

Mad about you... and about my Cheery Lynn Designs dies

This page was published in Ready  Set Create February 2012 issue
Another " WHITE SPACE" page with lots of Cheery Lynn Designs dies and still not messy.

So simple title for not so simple page- 2 persons I am mad about- one of my daughters and my grandson Omer. Lots of layering using my beloved CLD dies
As I don't have  regular French Flair dies and regular circles- I just tracked the  Inverted Scalloped  Circles set and the French Flair set -both with 2 sizes, then the Border Carnivale was added and my favorite Ribbon Eyelet  Border with a tie.
Want to scrap a similar page? All you need are a pretty photo, nice papers and the best ever Cheery Lynn Designs dies.. Don't  have them? Go to the shop- there is some August clearance now in the shop too..
See you!!

@ our Best Day lo

This page was published in Scrapbooking. com  magazine December 2011 issue

This was a great day we spent together-my DH and I - 0n our 28 th Anniversary, but all we have are those really owful photos. I decided to scrap them anyway- and to show that even bad photos can do a lovely scrap page.
Crate Papaer products were used here, with Tando Creative  chipboards, covered with Ranger crackled paint. It's pretty much " white space" lo, even with all those embellishments around.

I also used this Tando arrow- covered with Enamel Ranger white paint.
This was the second page made for our Israeli Starscrap competition  second round and I moved to the next one,5 girls now still in the run... Wish me luck- the last  round are just 3 girls and everyone wins something..

Vintage gift card holder

This project won the Unibind Photo Creator July competition- thanks
This project was published in Gingerscrapstreet magazine Nov. 2011 issue
About 2 weeks ago I signed for a Unibind FB page challenge.. I didn't really know what I am going to get for this one and I was very happy to get.. Chipboards.. Great, hard, balck and blue covered book boards were the perfect piece to alter and Pink Paislee and Petaloo products were the perfect  products to use. First I tried to use my Bind it all - but those chips  were much too thick for this device, so I made the holes with  my loved CAD and still didn't have a clue what I am going to craft. So here is the final result: my vintage fancy gift holder with Maya Road Kraft envelope for the gift card inside. And I also couldn't resist to add one CLD die cut butterfly, some TH metal pieces, lots of ribbons, some vintage and regular buttons. As for techinques  most of PP ephimera pieces were  inked, Petaloo flowers were  watered and inked and covered with 3d glue, I made some hand cuts and stamped a sentiment. I really  like the result

And some challenges too
Ribbon, crystals, pop dots from the list for Desert Island challenges
Vintage for CYDA
Birthday for Crafts and me
Not a card for Paper Play
Bird for  Craft Garden
All thing girly for Emerald Fairy
Vintage for Frosted Designs
Die cuts and cut outs for Clearly stamps
Bingo: gems- flowers- die cuts for Totally Papercrafts
Beautiful woman for Crazy Challenges
