So happy together lo

This page was published in Oct/Nov 2010 issue of SNR magazine
This page won July monthly challenge on Melody scrapbooking blog- thanks!!
This page won doodling challenge on Paper niche blog- thanks!!!
This huge hoto is about 2 years old and was taked by prof on our sea trip to Carrebean on my twin 21th B- day. They were living then in USA and my DH and I decided to give them this sea cruse as a gift (also we enjoyed it too very much)
So now it was a great time to scrap it- as nobody can see it in the folder- it's not even digi - but scanned..
Let me show u wht we have here:1 AC carstock/ piece of used Jenny Bowlin punched paper (used , not new),very old non brand chip alphas- maybe 4 years old or more, home doily, very old Heidi Swapp photo corner, some crft shop cheap lace pleated as a border,2 self made pins- I did them ages ago and never used, Tim Holtz die cut- part of the die, I used the other part, vintage music paper, vintage book paper for the homemade flower, crochet homemade flower, punched and misted butterfly, some bloommers from Webster I won, some Prima flowers and crystals. part of Prima pearl swirls- I still have more then half, stamped on acetate watches...
And for the techniques- lots of distressing with inks, using a doily as a temlate, faux hand stitching, home made flowers and punching..
Took me 3 hours to decide on the additional color to cream- brown- I was in between reddish pink or blue- blue won as I had a crochet and pin dne in blue..

King of Traveland lo-'CCW July Challenge - Holidays!

This page was published in Oct/Nov 2010 issue of SNR magazine
This page made TOP3 on Sketches in time sketch challenge- thanks!!
CCW have this great prize this week- so holidays it is- an from here to all other challenges..
For mostly one photo scrapper the sketch I decided to do from Sketches in time was a real challenge as I used 4 photos of my second son Amir from his long- long trips all around the world
The title is my own - I never met this Traveland anywhere- maybe there is one in some kids book but English is my third language so I think I was inventive for Hebrew and Russian speaker.
I used 3 Prima pp- some were hand cut, some used as a long strip and some circle cut.
The title was from AC thickers- I was so glad I could use only one font here as the set wasn't a new one.
The embellishment were pure masculine: Tim Holtz chipboard die cut for some kind of journaling, Tim's metals with brads, some altered green brad- the face is rub on, I also used some butterfly rub on on the photo and some for journaling on chipboard and some for the tickets I die cut with Tim's die and stamped with Inkadinkado ticket stamps. I added the lion head for a " king" and a playing king card - dooble king he is..
I also did some distressing with a tool and inks and I had to stop as the so called " white space" was empty and these clouds- birds- pinweels- butterflies could be there, but no....
This was too- too much and I dropped the idea after I actually did 2-3 die cuts of each of them .
I also used some border punch for a piece of matting around the biggest photo- for highlight mostly and matted the focal photo with yellow cardstock matting too.
So no flowers and no ribbons and no lace and swirls and no feminine pieces- was hard!!
But the result is something I like- focusing in photos and the title and very magestic nd summery and even a bit shabby as much as not girly page can be.
!!

Baby monkey happy 1 st year card

This is my last job as a GD on Craft your passion- this summer I decided to concentrate in doing what I want whenever I want so guest DT is the best way to do some teams but not to be too busy with crafting " by list"
I realy enjoyed to work with digis- I even begin to like it.. I did different techniques on digis- glitter, waterpencil coloring, markers and this last one was done with flock powder and plastic hands and feet added on the image
I used Lauretta's sketch and decided not to use flowers or ribbons- so plastic buttons and chipboard number were my only embellishments here
SO I JUST WANT TO THANK LAURETTA FOR THE OPORTUNITY TO DESIGN FOR HER BLOG WITH HER OWN IMAGES AND COCODINGO IMAGES AND I WILL PLAY WITH THEM IN THE FUTURE

Age of innocence lo- GDT for Prairie fairy

This lo was published in August issue of SNR magazine
I did this lo for 2 DT jobs: for Tando creative using their gorgeus tree chipboard and for my GDT on Prairie fairy using this super cute Tooth fairy image (great for dentist -my " real" job usually... )
So I used this old photo of my pretty twins at the age you still believe in magic, miracles, fairy tales and even a tooth fairy and I called it the Age of innocence. I really wanted to use this Hebrew title of the same meaning as it was a Song title called " Days of innocence" but I didn't find any good Hebrew letters- so I did it as usual in English.
The paper and flowers are Prima and finally I used some stickers here- the castle, Disney princesses are old forgotten stickers.

Eternal love lo

This page was published in May 2010 issue of Scrapstreet magazine

OK- I decided to do A LOVE PAGE - but not about " that kind of love" we all think- but about the love my DN Tamar has for her very first and very own pet- Cheesy the hamster. And as I wrote in my journaling- he's the only pet my sis permits her to have (not including some gold fishes- but you can't paly with fish... )

So I got this fantastic photo from my sis (so what if it's NewYork- horray for the PC mail.. )and did this lo in some not childish colors - and I actually love it..
Tamar is so sweet and Cheesy is so small and cute!!

I used this great Prima stitched paper together with 2 other Prima pp- only the circles of them , added some hand stitching around and inside the circles, added some Prima flowers, some cute flower dolls from local craft store,

wooden animal, wooden hearts (colored with brown ink), some recycked curragate kraft piece and Crafty secrets journaling spot.

The letters are from ATD (WALMART..) and the problem with this set was that there were only 2 small letter E and only one small letter V- so I altered the big V and used another big E- let it be so..

My last additions were a button and a metal pebble (old one, but fits here perfectly with this " together" and colors)
Favorite thing for Pile it on- Prima, flowers, circles, hand writing, one photo page
Circles and squares for Crafty angels
Stitching for Artful inkables

Summer heat card- GINGERSNAP DT

A month of July is a month of HEAT- so this card was made for this weeks challenge - Heat one
I used the colors I don't like so much so I went for techniques and did a sun with circle masking and used watercolor penciles here together with stamps, distress stickles and lots of glitter for the rays. I added some felt flowers and felt ribbon for the final touch
And as for other challenges- not too much:
Hot for Woopsy daisy
Summer for Sir Stampalot, for My partner in crafting crime, for Fresh brewed
