Relax and Enjoy card for TPD

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second May post made for  Two Paper Divas company.
This time I made a totally CAS card, but still with some techniques.
The circles were all stamped with acrylic paints and different jar lids. Just that simple!
Wait a bit as acrylics are not inks and it takes some time for them to dry.
Now grab your lovely TPD Life is better in Flip Flops  stamp set and some colorful permanent inks.
Then stamp the sentiments and the flip- flops and color the Flip Flops  with distress markers.
To make it more interesting I added a lot of Robin's Nest Dew Drops with clear glue and added two red drops over the image.

See you next week with more TPD projects!

Beautiful love card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post made for Die Versions blog and using this most lovely Straw Basket die.
This time I die cut it from thin cork and added more cork on the background and it looks so fresh and pretty.
I added some paper flowers inside the basket and some PHP butterflies and a sentiment sticker on this card.
So easy to make a lovely Spring card with just one great die and some good embellishments.

My big small round world with Rubber Dance

Hello my dear crafty friends1 Today I am going to share a round art piece made with 3 pretty big Rubber Dance stamps and a simple masking technique.
I used this Globe  map stamp  as a first stamped image. Then I masked it and added the Vintage  PostCard stamp over and then I made the second masking and added the Map  background from Travel set stamp over the first two. The whole piece was heat embossed , colored with water colors , misted with drops and then cup into a circle. I added the basic Kraft circle and this round saying and yes, we live in this big and round and a very small world, where we can meet on the web. Just like now!

Class of 2013 lo

Sometimes the only graduation photos you have are full of background images that you don't like or need on your scrapbooking page. The only possible solution is to cut the silhouette and to glue the photos over the solid backgrounds as I did on this page. The second thing is the products we use for graduation projects. If you have the themed products it's very easy to use them. But with non themed products you should fit the colors and the papers to your graduates. My twin girl graduate is what I call "my blue girl": blue eyes, blue mood and even baby blue outfits in her past. So I used Colorways blue collection and added some symbols such as a huge door (that will open in her after college future).

Supply list
Patterned cardstock: Sapphire scales, Sapphire Ornamentation Coloraways paper by Paper House Productions
Die cuts: Die cuts Sapphire accent pack by Paper House Productions
Rub- Ons: Today Happens transfers by Paper House Productions
Stickers: Explore Puffy stickers, Enjoy Puffy stickers, Graduation 3d stickers, Good Life cork stickers, Picture Perfect cork stickers, Hey you cork stickers- Paper House Productions
Punch: Circle by Martha Stewart
Ink: Blue by Clearsnap
Letter stickers: Thickers by American Crafts

Step by step instructions: 1. Cut the door image from Ornamentation cardstock, ink all strips with blue ink and then glue the two side  strips with the backside up over the Scales cardstock. Glue the cut out door in the middle as shown.
2. Cut out the graduate silhouette and glue it over the silver and blue card from the die cut accent pack. Punch the graduation hat circle and glue it over the image as a circled accent.
3. Make the foam letters title and add puffy "Explore Life" stickers as your sub title. Use rub- on saying over

4 cards, same stamp, different looks...

Hello my dear crafty friends! Today I decided to make a kind of experiment. What about to stamp the  very same stamp with the very same ink over the  very same background  cardstock and then to color with 4 different mediums and to pick your favorite?
That's the experiment I made using Ann Butler's Background Basics Clearsnap Picnic 1 stamp, Clearsnap Snow Crafter's ink and Clearsnap Colorbox  white embossing powder over the white cardstock and then made 4 totally different cards with the die cut sentiments.
So here we go!
1. Use FC DMC Gelatos over the heat embossed image and wipe them with a baby wipe.

This kind of coloring background gives us this pastel shabby look and is great  when we need some mute, light pastel colors.

2. Use Distress inks from Ranger over the heat embossed image and add some water spray over. Let it dry.

This kind of background coloring gives us a mixed vintage look and we can add more saturation  with another ink layer and so on.

3. Make rainbow spots with punched circles self made mask and Staz-On inks in three primary colors of red, blur and yellow.  Add ink into the circles with a sponge and see how you get this 7 colors effect using just three inks.

This is a very unique look as you can mix the colors in different ways, making different shapes and to get a totally different cards with the very same inks and stamp.

4. This is a last one and my favorite coloring. I already made a very similar card with a different sentiment in my blog, but now it's one of  my experiment. I used Ann Butler's Crafter's inks in three colors and wiped the surface with baby wipe.

I really love the vivid, vibrant , live colors of those inks and the way they don't mix unless you want them to mix.

Enjoy life's simple pleasures with TPD

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first May post with new Two Paper Divas stamps.
Lately I am in love with this minimalistic clean and simple style and I really love those new TPD stamps that make it possible. So here is my new card:

Also the background has 4 layers, the stamping is just on the side and the sentiment is so small and simple that it makes this card a real CAS one.
I stamped with black pigmented ink using this new Enjoy simple life pleasures set and heat embossed with clear powder.
Then I colored the flower with white gel pen and added some distress inking over the white petals and inside the vase. I made some pencil shadow on the bottom and added three enamel dots as the only embellishment on this card.

Hope you like my very new CAS style and you love those lovely TPD stamps even more!
