CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Guest Design post

Hello my dear crafty friends! This is part 2 of my Guest design for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and this time they tell a bit about me and this is a project I made for this separate post.
You are most welcome to their blog HERE see the full post.

If girls celebrate their adult age on 12, for boys it's 13. And still it's not just the religious part that is important, but boring, but the party!  So this is a gift box (also we mostly give cash…) that was the Swatch watch box and it's about 12'' long. First I covered it with cardstock and then added two spots of stamped images. On the right side I stamped the general sentiment. On the left I stamped, heat embossed, colored and hand cut the hot air balloon and added the number 13 for the age of the celebration. Small blue stamped sentiment was added under the balloon.

I want to thank CAS-ual Fridays Stamps for a great chance to be their Guest designer this  month and to work with their beautiful stamps.
I hope to be back there some day! Cross my finger I will.

Let the adventure of your Birthday begin

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Sin City stamps new post.
Usually I don't make too many cards, but sometimes the sentiment are just perfect for a card or two or even many.
So here is my Birthday card made in Mixed Media style with a lot of background stamping, hand cut stamped images, misting, heat embossing and more.
It's perfect for any gender as the colors can fit any person of any age. And as you know  the new adventure is not age connected. I began my crafty adventure when I was a pretty old lady and it was a success so far.

Other products used:

Clear embossing powder

Stapler

And as usual- here is a full Step by step tutorial for you to follow if you want to make a similar card for you loved:

1. Die cut the thick white cardstock to 6*4 1/2'' rectangle using any stitched rectangle die. Mist the die cut cardstock with a mix of three green- blue- yellow mists. Try to let it be dry before the next color.

2. Stamp the hot air balloon and the clocks using Sin City stamps , black pigmented ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

3. Make black cardstock matting for the stamped card panel and staple it on the corners.

4. Stamp the clock and two sentiments on a thick  white cardstock with the same pigmented ink and heat emboss the stamped piece. Hand cut the clock and the sentiment strips as shown.

5. Mist the hand cut images with yellow mist and when dry glue them over the card.

6. Stamp the part of Collage stamp image (the letter part mostly) over white chipboard hot balloon using the same heat embossing technique as on previous steps.
Paint the stamped chipboard with distress blue ink.

7.Adhere the stamped chipboard piece over the card. Add a few metal cogs and some clear glaze drops. Add the metal winged charm over the  stamped crown. Enjoy your card!

Stand out loud card with DCVW

This card was made for DCWV March sketch challenge.
I used their lovely new Eclectic Chick stack with just some die cuts (Elizabeth Crafts for the matting and Sizzix for the leaves). One single die cut stands out as the sentiment says.
I just love this perfect collection that fit any style or gender.

BoBunny Misc Me Monday with Faith collection

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to BoBunny Misc Me Monday!

Today I am going to share four Misc Me pages made with the most delicious Faith collection and lovely photos of my three years old grand daughter Neta.
She is quite a little woman: strong, talkative and knows all. So I made it as a tribute to her social woman's skills and to give her a bit strength even if she is just three.
This is how the full two pages look.

Misc Me Faith by Irit Shalom

The first two pages were made with larger pockets and larger photos. So I had a space for more embellishment over the photos and over the pocket cards used here.

The second spread has smaller pockets and smaller photos and has less embellishments, but more meaning.

So here is the largest pocket page here:

Misc Med Journal contents were used as the basic matting cardstock. Then some Filagree Copper Foil Transfers were added over the photos and on the bottom. Chipboard circles were added around the face and as the  sub- title and finally the title was made with more chipboard pieces from the Faith collection.
I added the stamped word from Be the Light stamp set and made die cut embellishments using one of Belief Dies and one of Flutter dies.
All die cut piece were made from Faith collection cardstock and them covered with gel paste, Patina effect powder and Patina effect reagents to get this light Patina effect.
The original  use of Patina effects  was to use gesso or primer paste. I tried the clear medium as I wanted to see a bit of orogonal cardstock and it worked just perfect!

Here are some close- ups to the stamped word and the copper transfer piece.

The second page has three large pockets and I used one single 4*6'' photos that was embellished with Copper Glitter paste over dotted stencil and then two more Patina effect die cut pieces were added over the photo. The other embellishments over the photo are Noteworthy circle and clear arrows sticker from the Faith collection. The upper journal cards were embellished with some die cut pieces  and some stamping.

The third Misc Med page has a big photo that was framed with cards, chipboard pieces and some Noteworthy cuts.
I also added some copper brunches using Copper glitter paste and a stencil.
A word" Blessed" was stamped on the top of this Misc Med page part.

Three small  lower pockets are filled with Pocket Squares with some stamping over one of them.

The last Misc Med page has three photos and four  squares and is full of thoughts I had for my little girl: Dream Big, Love this life, Be Kind, Remember and Listen to your heart, Be strong.
The lower saying was made with a stencil and Black glitter paste.
Again, to make it similar, more copper transfers were added over the photos and cards.

I really hope that you like my use of Faith collection  for little lady scrapping.
I sure would recommend this collection to anyone; this is not for religious people only. This collection is bright, full of power, totally unique and still very much versatile.

Final Makin's clay inspiration

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome  to my very last Makin's Clay® inspirational post.
After two full years on Makin's Clay® team it's just time to move to another adventures and I just made one final altered totally clay project to show you the wonders of delicious Makin's Clay® products.
It's not a real tutorial, but just a kind of " how to make this project" photo steps.
Step 1:
So  as the first step I made those two Makin's Clay® hearts using Die Versions XL Heart die, thin rolled white Makin's Clay® and as you can see the die cutting was just partial.
When working with a very thin and intricate dies, even the thin rolled dry clay can't be full cut. But those partly cut hearts  look fantastic after all and they are the base of this art piece.

2. Use different molds  to  cast all shapes using Makin's Clay® White and Natural clay. Let all shapes dry.

3. Use Pentart Acrylic paints (some are metallic) to paint all dry clay shapes. Don't try to paint them perfectly.
Just add some color over the shapes and let them dry.

4. Arrange the shapes over the  clay hearts and make the collage of vintage shapes, fairies and butterflies. Arrange the whole collaged piece over the frame.

Product list:
Makin's Clay products:
Makin's Air Dry Polymer clay® in White and Natural
Makin's Clay® Cutting mat large
