Family Heritage mini handbag album with BoBunny

 Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome  to my new BoBunny inspirational post.
Irit from Irit Shalom's Designs is here today and I am going to share a card size mini  folder/ album made with one of my most favorite Once in a Lifetime BoBunny collections.

I love the vintage look of this collection and it's a perfect for family layouts, family mini albums and anything family related.
So as you can see this is a folded 12*6''  American Crafts black cardstock and the front is made like an old Heritage book.
I used a nested die set to make the book shaped layers using different collection cardstocks.

When opened this mini folder has three parts and a place for 3 wallet sized photos.
As you can see I added photo corners and the sample of the photo to insert into the corners.

 On the middle part there are place for two photos.
The cardstock was stamped with BoBunny most gorgeous background stamps and you can see the stamp names in the product list below.
The lower part is too small for photos, but great to cover the small magnet that together with the second one on the top makes the perfectly tight folder closure.

 And here are some close- ups to the cover.
 The upper cardstock page was stamped, also finally not much of this stamping is seen.
Then a few dies cuts made with a few BoBunny dies were added together with some cardstock hand cuts.
The key and a keyhole are also die cuts made from black cardstock and heat embossed with copper American Crafts embossing powder.
The clock die cut was embossed with AC Black embossing powder.

 The other part of the cover was made in the same style with die cut title added on the top.
The whole piece was covered with crackle glaze and you can see small vintage cracks here and there.

As you can you need this cardstock collection! It's the most gorgeous vintage collection of the year!

Be a Unicorn Mixed Media canvas with CAS- ual Fridays

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit from Irit Shalom's Designs is here today and I am going to share my new Mixed Media canvas made with the new and most adorable CAS- ual Fridays stamp and die set-BE A UNICORN stamp set and Unicorn Fri- die.

Usually we share cards on the company blogs. But as I am not just a card maker. but a Mixed Media artist I will share some other than cards projects too if and when the stamp sets fit.
So this unicorn stamp set is a perfect fit for any Mixed Media artist and you can see how great  both unicorn stamp and die and the sentiment stamp  fit this artistic canvas.

 The canvas textured background was made with texture paste,stencils. lots of different chipboards and a lot of paints and mediums. You can see crackled surface, splashes, misting, waxes and much more over the background.
But after the background was done the main focal point are CAS- ual Fridays stamps and a die.
The stamped floral circle from Full on Floral background stamp under the sentiment tag and the Unicorn was made with CAS- ual Fridays background floral stamp left from the precious project. It's heat embossed and that made it able to paint over with acrylics and still keep the stamped flowers seen.
The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed over a thick white cardstock and painted with pastel colors of acrylics.
And the die cut and stamped Unicorn was made with 5 layers of die cuts and then painted with the paint called Unicorn Hair. This is a light gold with a touch of light blue color and it is the best of the best for any unicorn. (Prima paints).

 I added a few close- ups to show your the stamped part of the canvas and a bit of the background texture.
All flowers are foamiran hand made by me  flowers.

So as you can see CAS- ual Fridays stamps are not just for card making.

Pear- fect pair card with SNS

  Hello my dear crafty friends!

Irit is here again and this is my last August reveal card.

I used the most adorable Sparkle N' Sprinkle  Sketched Pear stamp set , but this time I used another sentiment and to fit the sentiment I masked the third pear and made it just a couple.

This is one layer card (I don't count the base) and it was made over water color cardstock so the Mica Mists actually made with colorful background with a bit of water mist.

The only embellishments added are small washi tape pieces and Nuvo drops.

 Step by step tutorial:
1. Mask the third pear on the stamp image with tape. Stamp the image with Dried Oregano ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

2. Stamp the sentiment on the corner in the same way .

3.Color the stamped image with water colors.

4. Mist the cutting mat with Mica mists , add some water  and swipe the card over the mat.While wet add Clear embossing powder over the card and heat emboss it all.

5. Add pink Nuvo drops and some golden shadows using Midas Touch pen.
Add small washi tape pieces over the card.

CAS- ual Fridays August release Day 4- Nate and Friday

Welcome to our CAS- ual Fridays August new release Day 4!

Today we are going to share our creations made with the most delicious 

Nate and Friday  stamp set. 

 First the background was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with black embossing powder using Full of Floral background set.
Then the middle circle was die cut and the green background was    added to the back.
Then the stamped background was painted with water colors. The inside sentoment was stamped in the circle space.
The main image was stamped and hesat embossed with black powder and then hand cut and glued over the card.
The white fur was covered with white flock powder.

CAS- ual Fridays August release Day 3- Bushy Tailed and Fox banner

Welcome to our CAS- ual Fridays August new release Day 3!

Today we are going to share our creations made with the most adorable 

Bushy Tailed  stamp set and Foxy Banner Fri- die.

Today's card was made with stamped and heat embossed background that later was inked with a mix of Distress oxide inks using CAS- ual Fridays Heart to Heart background stamp.
Then the Bushy Tailed  image  was stamped over black cardstock using VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The only coloring made over the image was made with Nuvo drops light pink color.
The sentiment banner was stamped in the same way and die cut with the matching banner die.
Then the hearts were die cut using the small heart die from the new die set and glued over the stamped hearts background. The size of the die cuts is just perfect to glue the die cut hearts over the stamped image.
One more small die cut heart was added to the image and covered with red glitter glue. Same glitter glue was added over the stamped background.
All other hearts were covered with black enamel drops  mediums.

CAS- ual Fridays August release Day 2- Foxy

Welcome to our CAS- ual Fridays August new release Day 2 !

Today we are going to share our creations made with a totally lovely 

Foxy stamp set.

I am not a great coloring person, so I did this card in a kind of a light Mixed Media style using water color markers inside the heat embossed stamped image and then I just " moved"  the inks with baby wipe over the card. Some green mist splashes were added over the card for more interest.
 The only embellishments added to this card were enamel and glitter drops and actually this is one layer card after all!

CAS- ual Fridays August release Day 1- Be a Unicorn

Hello my dear crafty friends!

Welcome to our CAS- ual Fridays August new release Day 1!

Today we are going to share our creations made with the most gorgeous and most trendy 

BE A UNICORN stamp set and Unicorn Fri- die.

 I always connect unicorns with rainbows. So it was  obvious that I would add some kind of a rainbow over my release card and my pick was  a stencil, clear embossing ink and 7 different embossing powders that made this colorful rainbow background.

There are quite a few adorable sentiment on this stamp set and once I picked the one I want to use it was also very obvious that I must use glitter to fit the word sparkle.
So the unicorn image was stamped with VersaMark and then heat embossed with black embossing powder. Then it was die cut with the matching unicorn die and covered with fine clear glue and sparkling clear glitter.
The corn and the hair were colored with glitter glue to add some contrast and colors to the main image.
The sentiment was also heat embossed and lots of colorful enamel dots were added over the sentiment circle.

So grateful card with SNS

 Hello my dear crafty friends!

Irit is here today and I am going to share a very simple, but yet impressive card that I made with the new Sparkle N' Sprinkle Feathered Friends stamp set.

I am not a vivid colorist, so when I see a stamp that can be just colored a bit or even left as is I am happy and try to show you the way to make a fancy and lovely card without any coloring at all.

As you can see this card was made with just white and Kraft cardstock. The upper image was stamped over the Kraft die cut part with VersaMark and heat embossing. The lower part was stamped in the same way and then I glued both parts.
The white color was added with white pen only. The wood grain was added over the card with Tonic Glimmer paste over stencil. Then some pale pink was added both with Crystal drops and Mica Mist.

Step by step tutorial:
1.Stamp the sentiment and the wrap image over white cardstock card using VersaMark and heat emboss with Black Detail EP.

2. Die cut Kraft cardstock topper and stamp the birdies in the same way.

3. Glue the Kraft part over the white card front and add clear Glimmer paste over it as shown using stencil.

4. Color the birds with white pen.

 5. Splash a few random Turkish Rose Mica mist drops over the card.

 6. Add a few pink Crystal Nuvo drops as shown.
