Live your dreams with Magenta

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second March Magenta post.
This time I made a card that looks clean and simple, but actually is a Mixed Media card made with stamping, heat embossing and stencils and covered with clear embossing powder to keep the inks in place.

I made step  by step  no photo tutorial for you to use if you want to make a similar card.

Step by step:1. Die cut  white cardstock base and stamp Magenta tree image in the middle with black pigmented ink. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
2. Mask the sides of the card front and ink the stamped image with a mix of green and blue distress inks. Add some water drops for the interest.
3. Use Magenta stencil on the white pace sides with the light blue ink and make the lines as shown.
4. Cover the card front with VersaMark ink and heat emboss in all with clear embossing powder.
5. Stamp Magenta sentiment, heat emboss it and ink with both blue inks. Make the sentiment strip and glue it over the card.

6. Add black Tonic enamel dots over the lines as shown.

Beautiful memories canvas

This altered canvas was made for some web challenges in a light shabby style using Dusty Attic chipboards, Lindy's Stamp Gang mists , some  hoarded washi tape, different stencils, some wax, some embossing powder and was made for a few current web challenges.

So I enter this project ot the following challenges (I hope I got the rules and it's not too much to enter to all those challenges)
Dusty Attic Moodboard- all chipboards are from DA brand
March 2018 Mood Board

Lindy's Stamp Gang- I used the following mists for the moodboard:

Luscious Lime Flat Fabio
Ocean Breeze Blue Flat Fabio
Magnolia Magenta Gold Starburst
King Midas Gold embossig powder

Mixed Media Monthly- Stenicl and three mediums (sure used more as I used mists, gel medium, texture paste, embossing powders etc)
Image may contain: text

Scrapki- wyzwaniowo- Lines - made with washi tape over the canvas

Little moments of green altered canvas

Sometimes when I have spare time I make a project or two for cuttent web challenges.
This green canvas is this kind of a project.
Made for fun and challenges and not for any design team job and it was a real fun to make something some monochromatic and springy and bright after all dark projects I made as my usual altered art.
So here are some close- ups:

Made with different stencils and texture pastes, lots of paints and mists from different companies and Dusty Attic chipboards. It's actually large canvas and the smaller one over it.

I enter this canvas to one web challenge as it was made for this challenge only:
Snip Art- mostly inspired by color green and flowers and nature and I think it's a great fit to this challenge.

Stay Awhile card and tag

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new BoBunny craft post.
Irit is here today with my new BoBunny inspiration.
Today I am going to share a card and a tag made with a new, just released collection named Stay Awhile.
This collection is a bit wintery and cozy, but yet bright and shiny and is perfect for anything home connected and coffee themed too. It is trendy, but yet classic and I made a card and a tag that show both greens and blue colors of the collection and this time no Mixed Media techniques were added, but a simple classic cardmaking style for all craft levels.

As you can see the card was made mostly in green and brown colors and the tag was mostly made in blues.
Actually almost each and every cardstock piece of this collection has all colors and you can mix and match them all together.
So here is the tag alone:

I added a few layers made of BoBunny dies cut from different cardstocks and the main embellishment cluster is made of hand cut cardstock flowers and one single large flower and the chipboard heart was painted with BoBunny Frost glimmer spray over the bare chipboard. A few spray drops were also added over the tag.
Everything else are just hand cut cardstock pieces and a lot of Combo stickers from this collection.

And here is a card:

It's made in the same style with one single die cut frame, a lot of hand cut flowers and quite a lot of Combo stickers. I made the banner with layers by adding one flag over another with 3d foam glue.
One single wood heart was also added to this card as it actually is Home Love card.

You can also see the Coffee to go cup here- it's just a part of sticker image, but fits the cozy and warm home card as well.

I hope that you like my card and tag and see you soon with new BoBunny collections.

BoBunny products used to make the card and the tag:
Stay Awhile 12*12'' cardstock: Lovely, Welcome, Thankful, Stay Awhile, Warm, Relax, Neighbors
Stay Awhile Combo Stickers
Congratulations card dies
Darling Doily die
Ornate Heart die
Clover Bouquet flowers
Clover Pansy flowers
Double Dot Mocha jewels
Double Dot Citrus jewels

Aged to perfection card with SNS

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second Sprinkle n' Sparkle March post.
Irit is here  today and I am going to share a lovely vintage style card made with one new SNS stamp set and the well known " broken glass" technique made with SNS embossing powder.
This technique is a perfect finish for the old stamped items and for any vintage project.

Product list:
VersaMark ink Tsukineko
Distress inks – Ranger
Cardstock- 7 Gypsies, Canson
Twine

Starting  March  , SNS is doing something new.  Instead of a traditional blog hop, the designers will begin showcasing the new sets on the 5th of each month and one lucky winner of a $20 gift certificate to SNS will be chosen at the end of each month.
In order to be eligible to win, you must comment on both the SNS Blog and a Mystery Designer's blog (will be checked for compliance).  The more often you leave comments on the Designers' blogs and on the SNS Blog, the better your chances of winning the prize!

And here are some close- ups to the technique and then the full step by step tutorial for you to see:

Step by step tutorial:

1.Stamp the Old Truck image using brown pigmented ink and then heat emboss it with Copper embossing powder.

2.Use some Distress Oxide   on your craft mat and color the stamped image by dragging it over the wet inks.

3.Make the basic card layer with patterned cardstock and heat emboss the edges with Copper embossing powder as shown.

4.Heat emboss the stamped front edges with the same Copper embossing powder.

5.Cover the stamped card front with a generous layer of VersaMark and Clear embossing powder and heat emboss it all. Repeat this step for 4-5 more times to get a very thick layer of clear embossing over the card front. Put the piece into the freezer for a couple of minutes and then brake it gently to get the broken glass look.

6. Stamp and color  the sentiment from the same stamp set  with the same products as the truck image. Cut it and glue over the card.Add a few natural twine strings as shown.
