Anything goes week with TOPFLIGHT STAMPS: Find the Magic

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this is my free post made for Topflight stamps shop.
As you know this is this week when the designers can pick their own style of stamps and to make the project that speaks for them in the best artistic way.
So for me it was my very first time  of working with Lavinia stamps and making this magical project in my own creative Mixed Media way.
I made this shadow box over the $sore white plastic shadow frame.
Every single inch was covered with mediums, paints,  texture paste over stencils and chipboards were added for the more texture and interest.

The inside of the box was made with stamped image using Lavinia Guinevere Mermaid stamp.
I stamped the image over white cardstock and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.
Then I added more texture with a stencil that was heat embossed with sparkle powder.
The inside chipboards were added inside.

The sentiment was stamped with Lavinia Those who don't believe in magic sentiment stamps, die cut and added on the box corner. The sentiment was arranged on a piece of a real fishing net.

Here are the stamps I used to make this altered shadow box :

I really hope that you liked my Mixed Media stamped project and loved Lavinia stamps that you can buy from Topflight stamps shop.

Crackle with Tando: Be ready for the New Year

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Tando post.
This time the designers were challenged to make projects with crackle and as you know DecoArt has the best crackle pastes ever!
So to make this altered door hanger I used Tando chipboards and added DecoArt gold acrylic and then covered the paint with Crackle glaze.
On the edges I added DecoArt crackle paste and misted it with gold mist.

Here you can see the difference between both crackles and to pick whatever you like more for your own projects.

Live in color- Mixed Media card with Magenta

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second Magenta September inspiration.
Today I am going to share a Mixed Media card made with one single Magenta stencil and one single Magenta sentiment stamp and all together it makes a perfect example of Mixed Media cardmaking.

This card front was made over black textured cardstock that was covered with texture paste and Magenta stencil.
So the texture paste became light grey and you can still see the black cardstock around.
Then the sectors were colored with Ranger Alcohol inks to make a kind of a rainbow.
The whole piece was misted with golden mist and it's clearly seen over the colors.
The sentiment was stamped with permanent ink and the word " Color" was painted inside.

Adorable altered canvas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second September Art Anthology  inspiration.
After doing a lot of pretty dark art work I decided to try the bright one and I made this adorable canvas using my dear lovely granddaughter photos.
I left it in a pretty minimalistic style as I wanted the photos to shine and the background to be seen and not covered with tons of embellishments. So I just used the Dusty Attic chipboards to connect all canvas pieces and added some flowers for this girly canvas.

As always I made a full step by step tutorial for you to see and maybe to use HERE:

Check out How to Make a Girly Mixed Media Canvas With Art Anthology by Art Anthology on Snapguide.

I decided to enter this canvas to some web challenges:

It's your day card

Sometimes I make project in a totally " not my style". This one is one of these cards: shabby, lot of flowers on one single card etc.
But I do like the final result a lot.
Made with PPRS stamps, some MFT and other dies and IamRoses flowers.
The  ink circles were made with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide  inks.

Anything goes weeks with Topflight stamps: Remember when art page

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my weekly Topflight Stamps shop post.
Once in a couple of weeks the designers make craft projects in their own free style using any stamps from the Topflight shop that fit their personality and preference.
So for me it's usually some Mixed Media project and this week it's a Steampunk art page made with three different stamp sets.
I called it Remember When as it's vintage, dark and looks like something from the past.

First I made the background with Studio Light Basic Background stamp using white pigmented ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Over all upper layers it's pretty hard to see this part of stamping, but after adding paints and mists it acted as resist and you still can see a lot of stamped background on the left of this piece.

The second part of stamping was stamping over vellum of Carabelle studio Steampunk: Machine a remonter le temps- Steampunk time machine stamp using black embossing powder and you can see the part of this stamping inside the Steampunk chipboard frame.

The last stamp set used to make this art page was Carabelle Studio Papillion Steampunk or Steampunk  butterfly stamp and its was stamped over white cardstock and heat embossed with black powder.
I added some metal cogs over this fantastic butterfly image and hand cut it to be my main image.

Everything else on this art page are paints, mediums, chipboards, mists and... Whatever we use to make the real Mixed Media project after we used our beloved stamps.

Stamps used to make this page:

Steampunk Butterfly

Thanks for reading my weekly post.

If you would like to see more of my work you are mostly welcome to my own blog.
See you all next weeks with a totally different stamping inspiration!

Garden Party wedding layout with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new BoBunny inspirational post.
Irit is here today and I am going to share a Wedding page made with the new, most gorgeous Garden Party BoBunny collection and my lovely daughter wedding photos.
This collection is the perfect match to her last year garden wedding and the greens of her photos fit perfectly to the greens of the collection.

As it's a wedding reception layout I decided to add golds to the page and used  gold glitter paste over stencil on the edges first.

Then I added gold spray over the whole page.
The chipboard hearts, die cut flourish and the die cut titles were painted with gold liquid Pentart paint and they sure shine!

As I wanted to add  this " something blue" item to the layout and the groom's outfit is light blue I added blue lace and some blue jewels to make it less monochromatic and a bit more interesting. And I found this blue lace and the metal black with blue trinket in another new collection ephemera package (Family Recipes).

So don't afraid to mix and match! It works.
