Sweet Stamps challenge #140: Frames

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our new weekly challenge on Sweet Stamps and this time it's all about FRAMES!
Here is my framed card: the  outer frame is foil dry embossed  piece covered with a LOT of clear embossing ink , embossing powders and Pearl Ex pigments. Then I made the inner frame , using a simple chipboard, arranging the frame and making this Faux Cloisonne finish.
First you cover the chipboard with a think layer of clear embossing  ink. Then you add 3-4 or even 5 layers of heat embossed black powder. Next you add a bit of Pearl Ex pigments and then heat it all over. When  your frame is totally hot you stamp into the hot surface and let it dry. I made this with a cling stamp and I am not sure if it's safe to use clear stamps, so if you want to experiment, use a $1 stamp and pray for the results (unless you have a lot of stamps you don't care about. )
Next I stamped the lady's image over the white cardstock, heat embossed it with black powder and misted all over for the nice background color using LSG mists.
A few flowers and FWAB pearls and this card is all done.

Now it's your turn: make something framed and and you can win  great goodies from Sweet Stamps shop!
I also enter this to Frog Dog studio embossing powder challenge

Perfect chic

Sometimes I scrap nature. Flowers mostly. Roses mostly. And this is one of those pages here.
A lovely rose with some drops of water over the leaves and  the most lovely Fab Scraps new paper line. I added some Prima flowers and stamped roses from Sweet Stamps as my embellishments and some small trims (leftovers), office clips and a lot of FWAB pearls. I think this is my version of " clean and simple" layout. I still have a lot of white space, but then the focal point is not so simple after all.
FabScraps chipboards are covered with a thick layer of red embossing powder (WOW! Embossing Powders)

I enter this to some challenges

All things altered blog hop is BACK!

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Fall All Things Altered blog hop.  We are the group of designers  who just love to Alter and we also have some prizes for all of those who follow our blogs and comment. So if you came from Debbie's blog, you are on the right way, and if not- go to Pam's BLOG and begin there.
To win some prizes you should be our follower and to comment in wach and every blog. Easy. Just do it and you can win some adorable goodies in some blogs. You never know the blog we pick the winner from.
And now for my Fall altered project.
At the beginning it was a wooden bowl. Craft shop style, bought a few years ago in Turkey.
So I just painted it with some DecoArt  acrylic paints and this DecoArt Weathered Wood crackling medium. Lot of work- lovely result.
Then I decided to make it a  kind of Fall central piece and ... it was even more work and waiting time. But I really like the final result.

So let's see what do we have here.
A lot of Sizzix Tim Holtz leaves and flowers die cut from an old and forgotten recycled paper; stamped with Inspired by Stamping background stamps (music notes and script) and then misted with Lindy's Stamp Gang mists (Starburst Red hot poker orange, wild honeysuckle coral, poincianna red flame, autumn maple crimson, ponderossa pines olive and maidenhair fern green)

Then I added some Prima flowers (was too tired to cut more of mine... ) and this Dream title with 2-3 layers of embossing powder. I decided to add some golds- like gold mist, gold buttons and gold powder. Fall title is AC Thickers, but covered with Inka Gold , just like I did over the bowl edges.
Last but not least altering were a couple of resin flowers colored with Ranger alcohol inks to this mute look (they were bright yellow) and this recycled from the old mobile metal owl shape (some Inka golds and some inks again).

I really hope you like my project.
So here is your prize and it's gorgeous as you can see. I will ship it anywhere. So don't wait: follow, share and comment and it can be yours.

Thanks and Love with IBS

New fancy vintage card made for some web challenges only... It happens here and there, you know.
So I used my lovely Inspired by Stamping stamps - 3 sets used here, my old  Graphic 45 papers (use your stash thing), and my new and delightful FWAB flowers and  blings. Then I decided to make it for Die- namites challenge, so I used their sketch and leaves die cuts (covered with a  think layer of FC DMC Gelatos and glazed over them). What else? The basic layer (strips) is a recycled paper pack packaging; lace is from IBS store too and twine is ... who knows, just old leftovers.I added a bit of red washi tape for a pinch of color and then 2 red heart pins and I am really pleased with this card.

And for the challenges
Sketch for Die- Namites and their die too (leaves)
 Creative moments- Anything with lace
Perfect papers for Art impressions- use 3 or more papers; I even made dry embossed one and stamped over patterned papers only

Adore...

My new layout with my adorable grandson's photo and the most adorable FabScraps new paper collection. Everything on this page is this paper line, but some FWAB  pearls and a lot of stamping with my previous DT on 100 Proof Press. As always I used Lindy's Stamp Gang mists  over some real punchinella (yes, I still use it even with all fancy masks around as  I have a lot of it and you don't need to clean it after you use the real thing. Not like the fancy masks.)
I decided to enter this to some web challenges too.

Sweet stamps Tags # 139 challenge: Make a tag bookmark

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Sweet Stamps Tag challenge. Actually I didn't make a tag, but a tag shaped bookmark; still it's a kind of a tag with a tassel on the top and it's totally gorgeous and usefull too.

My new bookmark made with one single Sweet Stamps Stamp and my own Rainbow technique shared this month in UK print magazine Craft Stamper.

I stamped this single  Baroque Border image over a  slightly glossy cardstock (backside of metallic cardstock and a thick one too) with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Black embossing powder. Then I used just 3 ink colors (Staze- On)- all primary- blue, red and yellow and made this rainbow mix over the stamped image. The last part was to add 2 thin sticky glue strips and to cover them with SS  Fine Detail Black black embossing powder on the sides. I added foam BOOK letters on the front and tied a nice tassel on the top.

10 minutes project and so much effective! Try it or make another project for our Tag challenge this week.

PWP Mixed Media Monday: Making 10 minutes bookmarks

Hello my dear crafty friends! This is my Spotlight Sunday post made for PWP blog and Spotlight means to show you some  great crafty ideas , using our stamp sets . So how about to make some quick and lovely projects that take 10 to 15 minutes only? We really are short of the time and sometimes this is an only spare crafting time we have. And then, how about   some really useful project?
I love to read. I really finish a book a week and I never have a nice bookmark to use. So today we are going to make a couple of lovely and quick bookmarks using our lovely PWP vertical stamps.

First I  stamped an Owl panel  and  a Bird  Panel vertical stamp over white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed it with Black EP. Then I picked a bunch of Faber Castell DMD Gelatos and just made some lines over the stamped images.

I decided to make the Owl in greens- blues, with a touch of yellow and the Bird in red- orange and yellow tones. I used a wet baby wipe to spread the colors and then added a bit of shimmery paint over the flowers and leaves and made a shiny painted moon .
The last step was to make black cardstock  long tags, to add some buttons and to tie a tassel/fabric bow.
Both tags were made pretty flat as we want to use them as our bookmarks.

And now it's your turn! Go to PWP shop, grab  some vertical stamps and made the similar projects for you or as a lovely quick gift.

Happy Halloween card

PLEASE SCROLL  ONE POST DOWN FOR INSPIRED BY STAMPING/ WORLWIN PAPERS BLOG HOP!

New Halloween card made for some web challenges:
VLVS- using their stamp over molding paste and then misted with LSG mists  and 3 more of VLVS stamps, some CLD dies used here and LSG  October challenge colors. I actually used their mood board shapes, also not the colors here with a very limited Halloween stamps supply (I do have a  lot of
VLVS stamps, but non of them is Halloween. So it was a bit  of a trick or treat?)

 Altered Winter Banner
We are Jewish, so we don't celebrate Christmas, but we sure
love and celebrate Winter seasons, and this is my
contribution to a winter(also we don't see real winter in Israel,
 but once in a lifetime)
This is Tando banner covered with WW  CARDSTOCK
and each single triangle is dry embossed with the very same
embossing folder and then iked over with   dark blue ink.
Each piece is embellished with a huge letter  and each letter is
totally stamped with IBS snowflakes and then heat embssed all over
for this shiny look. I also stamped  over the embossed cardstock with different
winter sentiments from the very new IBS August release set.
Here  is a list of IBS stamps used here:
And the list of WW cardstock used for this project
Kromekote®Brushed Gold Foil Mirror Finish Kromekote®Brushed Silver Foil Mirror Finish
Petallics®Gold Ore,Silver Ore,Snow Willow

Then I die cut a lot  of snowflakes (Spellbinders dies) and
made those WW cardstock and brads 3D embellishments.
I stamped a tag and  made 3 stars  word over the central triangle .
2 more banner pieces- same techniques, but still a bit different.
