Hello my dear crafty friends! It's our monthly Technical challenge here on Sweet Stamps blog.
Today I am going to share the card made with Dryer's Sheet technique.
This is a very simple technique (if you do have a single drier's sheet and was a problem for me as we live in a very hot and dry country and use our drier one month a year... ). So get yourself a piece of a drier sheet and enter our Monthly technical challenge as you can win a lot of great goodies from the shop!
And here is my card : this month it's Christmas in July theme , so I made the Christmas card for the future use.
I stamped 2 Ginger Bread Boy and Girl Duo large images over the MME patterned (slightly) paper; colored them with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Pitt India Ink Artist pens and then covered the whole piece with a liquid glue. For this technique you need to use permanent inks and markers, as the glue (any glue) can damage the colored images, so go for permanent this time, please. Add your dryer's sheet over and press. Sprinkle our delicious Sweet Stamps Micro Fine Transparent glitter over the wet piece and let it dry.
Trim the piece to a square shape, make some border punching of 2 other PP pieces and made your red card matting with CLD Cardmaker rectangle largest die.
Stamp " Happy Holidays" Old fashion sentiment OVER the leftover, drier's sheet covered piece of cardstock (this time we stamp over the covered paper, not under it) and again, use a permanent ink. Embellish as much as you want and your lovely " technical" card is done.
Now make a card with the same technique and enter our Sweet Stamps monthly challenge!
