1. Use Story Bear paper as your basic background paper. Ink the edges with all inks randomly.

2. Cut a strip from Bubble Bear paper, punch the Binding edge, ink it with blue ink and glue vertically on the left side of your page on the back side of it. Cut one ribbon from the Baby Bear Journal pre- cut packet and layer over the first strip. Make another punched strip with the same punch and layer it over with the front pattern. Add one big tag from the same set (the green one) as shown and another rusty one on the top. Ink both tags with red ink before layering them. Make another punched with Circles punch strip and layer it horizontally over the vertical paper cluster. Add another cut out Ribbon from the Journaling set over it. Add a rectangle from Rusty Bear paper. Cut a baby image from the photo and layer it over the cluster we just made.

3. Cut a rectangle from Bubble Bear paper, punch the edge with Circles punch and layer it near the cut our photo as shown. Glue your large photo over the last paper piece.

Make 2 Baby –T the same way and make 3 pieces upper cluster. Hand write your journaling inside the Name band (I made it the date and place, but you can add the name).

6. Make the left low photo corner embellishment cluster with a cut out baby bottle and 2 more hand cut pieces. Make a hole in the tag and tie the piece of lace. Add some random buttons and mist the "white spaces" with some random mists for the interest. Enjoy your page!

Live. Love. Create with WOW! EMBOSSING POWDERS AND TANDO

My new altered Mixed Media project made  with Wow! Embossing powders stamps and powders and Tando Creative chipboards.
First I stamped the background with WOW! Collage stamp and heat embossed with  Black  Glint glitter  powder. Then I used gesso and Tando  mask for the orange- pink spots over the stamping. I added Peach Gleam  glitter powder over the wet gesso and heat embossed it till is was dry.
I stamped some inspirational words from this gorgeous stamp set randomly (not much seen now) and misted the whole piece with a lot of Ranger mists.
The chipboard Gate Tando piece was covered with  White Puff Twinkle embossing  Glitter powder randomly, as I didn't want the perfect covered look.
Then I cut the gate into 2 halves and glued it over the stamped piece.
3 more words were added on the upper right corner with permanent black ink.
Then I added a thin layer of Lime Light  Glitter powder over the edges and this colors is  quite translucent and hardly seen after all.
Now for the flowers. Those resin flowers were in all impossible colors: like purple, bright pink etc. So I  had to make an adjustment  and to colors them with embossing  powders.
I used 2-3 glitter powders such as Peach Gleam, Clear Sparkle,Metallic Brass Sparkle, The only way is Orange glitter  and made some layers of them to get this similar to my colors look.
I think this Mixed Media project is a nice tribute to Mother Nature.
I enter it to Craft Stamper embossed background techniques challenge.

Light blue ink, Dark brown ink (Clearsnap)

Clear embossing ink

Felt blue flower, round silver charm, scalloped bubbles, Scalloped Shape Studio tool (Epiphany Crafts)

Lace border punch (Martha Stewart)

Zipper brown trim (Maya Road)

Chipboard mirrors (TPC)

Lace, trims, ball chain, wooden button

Double sides glue, 3d foam glue

Heat embossing gun

How to make this project:

Making a cover page

1. Cover the film parts of the cover chipboard with Clear embossing ink, using a piece of leftover paper to cover the part of a spine we don't want to be heat embossed and a Baby title. Add Black embossing powder and heat emboss the inked page. Now cover the black embossed parts and make the same with Blue embossing powder over the Bear and Baby titles.

2. Make" Peek a Boo" title with the same technique; don't try to make it perfect. This is a vintage style mini album, so some bare chipboard can be seen on your title. Ink the spine with brown ink. Glue the thin lace over the spine. Glue the title over the cover page. Add the felt flower with a button added over it.

Making the main pages

1. Cover each and every inside page with Baby Bear collection's paper. Distress the edges and ink them with blue or brown inks. Make brown spines as we already made for the cover and glue the lace over each spine.

2. Trim your baby photos to fit the "windows" we have in this album. For page 1 trim one big photo and 3 small squares, glue a piece of zipper trim as shown and make 3 scalloped flowers with scalloped tool and bubbles; glue 3 flowers as shown.

3. For page 1 backside make 2 laced strips with border punch and glue them on the bottom of the page as shown. Add a piece of the same zipper trim and glue your photo. Cut the Rocking horse shape from Baby Bear Journal Pre- cut packet and glue over Rocking Horse large chipboard. Glue the Rocking horse as shown.

4. For page 2 heats emboss the large Feet chipboard with clear embossing ink and heat emboss with blue embossing powder. Use the circle tag from Baby Bear Invitations Pre- cuts packet, glue it over Circle tag from DC57 013 set. Add zipper trim and glue the photo. Punch the tag and tie a piece of lace over it. Add the embossed Feet and a Circle tag as shown.

5. Add the trim and a photo on page 2 backside. Make a scalloped tag with scalloped shape from Baby Bear invitations set and chipboard from DC57013 set, punch a hole and tie a lace over it. Add the tag over the photo as shown.

6. For page 3 heat emboss all 3 chipboard Ducks using clear embossing ink and yellow embossing powder. Cut a smaller photo to fit the window of page 2, add the trim and glue both photos. Add all 3 ducks on the bottom.

7. For the backside of page 3 glue a large photo, add the pre cut bottle and if you want you can add more embellishments (I used mirrors, but you can add whatever your want)

8. Page 4 is a last one of this album. Add the photo on the right upper corner to fit the window of page 3. Cover the big tag from Tag/Baby-T/Bottle/Name Band set with the similar shape from pre- cut shapes, ink the edges and glue it over a photo. This is a perfect tag for your journaling if you want to make some. I also added one more mirror over it for the interest.

I didn’t use the back page to place any photos also it was covered with a fancy paper.

Finish your album

Clear emboss the chipboard pin from Bib/Pin/Rattle/Circle Tags set with blue embossing powder and insert it into your binding ring. Make another scalloped flower with clear bubble over it and glue it over the silver round charm. Use a ball chain to connect the charm to your ring.
Tie some ribbons around the rings.

Enjoy your creation!

Sweet Stamps challenge #123: Roses

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Welcome to our Sweet Stamps Rose weekly challenge!
This week I decided to make a small and lovely Rose art piece in a big bottle cap.

You can call it a magnet (I added a piece on the back) or to call it " small art piece", anyway it's Sweet Stamps roses that make it all!
I stamped the whole Vertical Roses stamp with red embossing powder and then colored it all with Faber Castell DMC  Red Artistic Pitt Pens. Then I  hand cut them and re-arranged over the background piece of paper and covered with Glossy Accents.
A few   Self- adhesive pearls were added for the interest and I added 2 Tim Holtz stickers to make a statement : "Creating dreams". For me roses do create dreams and are my most favorite flowers ever.
And now it's your turn: take our Roses challenge and you can win some fantastic goodies  too!
See you again in a week with a new challenge inspiration.

My lovely boy- Inkido guest design

This is my second lo made as Inkido Guest designer.

This lo was a try to make baby/boy pages with fancy vintage  Inkido papers. As I picked this round title to be on this page, all page was built with circles (hand cut, die cut and epoxy covered ones). I made the silhouettes from Inkido Baby cards and then made just the same with my grandson's photo and they look so much alike. I made some misting and paint drops, used border punches and made some hand stitching to connect some of the circles.

Butterfly dream: Inkido guest design

Hello, my dear crafty friends! This is my first Inkido  Guest design post.
When I first saw those Inkido papers from Beautiful Memories collection, I knew I just have right photos to scrap with those papers. This is our Israel Summer (also our Spring and Fall and maybe even Winter and I am not kidding, as we have one long never ended season here with some rain in between). I used a lot of fancy hand cutting on this page, some border punching, edge inking and some misting to make this page. Inkido flowers were rolled over the chipboard frame and I added a bit of glitter all over the page.

Sweet Stamps challenge #122: Anything goes with Pinque Peacock

Hello my dear crafty friends! W elcome to our blog hop Day 1!

This is our Anything goes week on Sweet Stamps challenge blog and this week to have a product swap with Pinque Peacock. I got a lot of lovely handmade pins and this is my card made with 4 of them (wanted to add more, but it was much too much, so I will use the rest for my next projects)

I made this Have a Beautiful Day card with Bo Bunny  paper collection and some AC cardstocks.  My card opens from the middle (yes, I wanted it to be unique). So the lower frame - red and grey- is permanent and then the light grey one is an actual card.

I stamped 3 Sweet Stamps butterflies from  Fanciful Butterflies set over the light BB patterned paper with black and heat embossed with Fine Detail Black EP  it to fit this almost monochromatic card.
All butterflies were hand cut and glued over the card with 3d foam glue. Then I added some Stickles Icicle glitter glue over them.
The Sweet Stamps  Beautiful Day sentiment was stamped with French Roast Shades  ink spot and as my final touch I added some ribbons (hello dear eyelets, I used finally used some of you too!LOL).  And now for those gorgeous handmade pins! I am totally in love with them.
Hope you like my card and hope you are going to enter our  challenge too this week.

When you are a King

It's very hard to make masculine project. This key chain is   one of those " hard to make" ones, but finally I got a lovely art piece that is a great Father's   day gift.
I made it with Tando Creative chipboards, lots of WOW! Embossing powders  and 2 of the most gorgeous  100 Proof Press stamps:
King  of Clubs  and Old script.

The script was stamped as the larger cog background with Ranger Black Archival ink and the cardstock was distressed with Tea Die Ranger distress ink . King stamp was used a my smaller cog background with the same ink and then I made another image as my focal point.I added a bit of red paint  over the image using Creative Inspiration Garnet paint.
The song lyrics was a perfect for the wording and I also added some Tando arrows (trendy and to give some more interest) to my piece.(Fancy pants stickers and some glaze over them)

Artistcellar guest design: Dream & Imagine

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am a Guest Blogger on Artistcellar company blog.

I got a few of their  gorgeous stencils  and this is already my 3 post using those stencils (I made a project for a mutual blog hop with GJS and another mini album with them). So today I  am back to scrapping and I made what I call " my light Mixed Media  art".
Just to make it easier to understand: Mixed Media is a messy kind of an  art, full of colors. mediums and sometimes you can't even say what were the products you used for this project.  I picked the " light" way: use your stencils, paints, mediums and mist as much as you like, but  mostly on the corners of your page. Make your photos and lovely papers your stars, not your gesso and  your mists. My 2 cents. You can agree or not, but it works for me  and maybe will work for those who are afraid of too much paints over their scrapbooking pages.
So here is my lo called " Dream and Imagine".
I used Flower of life stencil and Tortoise stencil.

I wanted to use just a part of those 6*6'' stencils, so I  used an artist tape to make just strips of Tortoise stencil, using gesso. Then I added some  embossing glitter over the wet gesso and heat embossed it. When it was dry I added some blue distress paint over it.

The half circle was made with the same technique: I  cut a  6*6'' circle and used the negative as my template. Put your Flower of life stencil  inside the template , add gesso and  remove the circle template. The same glitter was added over the half circle and after heat embossing I added the very same  blue ink.

I used 2 Bo Bunny paper collections  with some chipboards and stickers and made a lot of die cutting with Cheery Lynn Designs dies with the very same paper.I made this page flat (no bulky flowers or  embellishments  were added) as  it's pretty much colorful and also it's not a clean or simple page, this is my " Less is more"  type of scrapping.
I tried to follow all possible scrapbooking rules (if there are any ...): large photo as my focal point, visual triangle of circles (upper journaling spot), birds cluster and a small part  of a die cut fence with one die cut circle and some flowers.
As  my last touch I added a few blasts of mists over the page to make a bit of a sparkle, but again not to much as I want the  paper colors to stay as is.
I really hope that you like this page and those, who are afraid of Mixed Media scrapbooking,  would try it my " light" way.
I enter this to Scrap it girl use your dies challenge
And I also made a Bonus  project for this guest post: Wooden " Home is in your Heart" wall plaque.
This is  NO PAPER project and all you need are 3 Artistcellar stencyls (2 were already used for my lo and  third one is   Seven Jewels stencil  ). Put your stencil over the wood piece, cover it all with Clear embossing  ink, add colorful embossing powders over it and heat emboss.

That's all . Really  easy way to make a nice gift project in no time. I also used  old wooden letters and heart shapes and added some walnut ink over to make the embossed parts to stand out. (Just mist all over, embossed parts  will resist the ink)

Hope you liked my post and I am grateful to be Artistcellar guest designer as I really love all those stencils designs  !
