Together card

This new card of mine is great example how you can begin with idea A- go to production line B and end with final product C that is so far from you idea that you even can't remember what it was at the first place.
So I wanted to do this " keep it simple" card with only 2 layers and a round sentiment and I finished with this dry and heat embossing, stamping, inking, die cutting (circle), recycling (circle is Unity stamp package chipboard), punching, using pp, paper piecing and end with 6 layers card and a .... sticker sentiment- as I was off my power to do another stamping even to look for a sentiment.
Funny way of carfter's work- believe me I am not sure what was wrong on the way as I did it for 5 minutes every hour for 6 hours as I was not pleased with any part of it during the process.
And finally I don't even remember what was the original challenges I wanted to use in this this card- but every hour another differnt challenge came to life and another one died.
So here they are- all challenges I finally did this card for :
Sketch- for Card patterns - partly twisted, I think they don't like this.
Sketch- for Sunday sketch and stamp.
3 textures- wet emboss, dry emboss amd embossed flower for Crazy4 challenges
Card for men- even with the flower- this one is for men- colors and the prince frog - for Quixotic
Touchy feely for Incy wincy
Anything goes for Lexi's
Stamping and using cutting tools- the white shape on die cut chipboard and punches too- for Fun with shapes
Cut it out and pop it up- the froggy- for Crafty creations
Inspiration for Pals paper arts
Embossing- dry and heat for Sophysticat
Distressing for Paper sundaes
Use sticker for Caardwarks

DREAM LO

This lo was published in Jan- Fab. issue of ScrapN' art magazineI did this lo for my son's wedding album and with only 2 colors for this dramatic effect. The cardstock is DCWV and lace paper from Creative imagintaions, I also added half of MM journaling tag , K &CO chipboard letters, some silk and paper flowers, music paper, die cut with Cuttlebug butterfly , real juwel charm on the silk flower and some paper flowers too. As for the techniques- hand stitching, distressing, doodling and stamping.
And as for challenges -it was done for :

Unscripted sketch # 44 - card

I did this new card for any occasion with US#44 sketch that I really loved.
I also used the pp I got from my friends on one of our so called cropping mornings (we don't actually crop- we talk, eat and do nothing or almost nothing- but it's fun and I love this once a month motnings with Anat, Einat, Mimi, Yafit and Ilanit..) Somethimes we add a " guest cropper" too, something we even craft a bit- but we are happy just to meet all togheter.
So this papers and the cardstock are from Anat and Yafit stash and were kind of precut- and here is my card with some ribbons, golden charm, pin , button. pearls and embossed flowers. I also did some inking and distressing all around and used some border punches too.

TIME FLIES CARD

I have some time today- Friday is our weekend day and I am invited for a dinner so I don't need to do anything at home- great time for crafting, even if it's only " small KISS card"
So I did some Cuttlebug embossing on this AC white paper, did some sentiment stamping and heat embossing. added some metal clock with MM brad and some ribbon and here it is- 15 minutes card - clean and nice and for all occasions too.
And as always - I did it for some web challenges:

Be a New Yorker lo

This page is in July 2010 SNR MAGAZINE
I did this new lo with Sketchy thuersdays this week sketch with this minimalistic style not so usual for me. I did this misted circles and trimmed the photos to circle shapes, added some Bg sticker border , some inked Prima flowers , stamped some clouds with AC stamp, used some recycled blue twine and some epoxy brads. The tytle was done with 3 fonts- the reality of not having all major letters in any on my sets- so it was AC+Pink paislee+Lil' Davis letters in one lo.O- the only cardstock I used is Dream street paper .
And as for challenges? Here are some I did this lo for too:
Recipe for Peechy keen- stamped image- clouds, green and yellow, 3d embells Stamps for Practical scrappers
Embossing for Sophysticat- the bird is embossed one
Messy hands- for Tuesday taggers- I did inking and misting and both are messy

This box was one of the winners on Lace and fibers challenge on Gingersnap blog- thanks!!
This box won the " go green"(recycling) challenge on KL Stamping N scrapping blog- thanks!!
This Prima flowers boxes with acetate window are great for delicate alteration- so I did one for my mom for the Family day we had here a week or so.
( It was mother's day all the time- by they decided to do it " politicly correct" and changed it for " Family day")
So here it is: Prima package box, some very old Colorbok vuntage paper (I have this pad for ages and I think it's good time to use it as the colors are springy vintage nice ones). I did some white Stazon stamping on the acetate lid, added some die cuts, Prima rose, some felt leaves, pearls, crystals, ribbon, laces and a pearl MM pin. The chipboard tag was inked with distress ink and the sentiments are MM rubons.
And as always it's great for some web challenges:

Fairy @spring lo

This lo was published in a very first issue of IASC Ezine - very new on line publication - this one is paid one- so I can't add the link to it
Usually when I do my pages I begin from the photo or from the paper, this one was different as first I found these cute fairy free digi images and then I saw my DN Tamar's photo and she was the duplicate of these fairies- so this lo was born from the embells.. Happens..
I used DCWV cardstock, BG paper doily (as is), trimmed and die cut these fairy images to hearts shape, added some Prima flowers and wings, Dress it up bugs and butterfly, some vintage lace, old ribbon, kid's charm and AC chipboard alaphas.
Very simple lo- no technique challenges here, but it's so sute and fits the girls mood and the spring that is almoust here too.

LOVE card

This card was published in Scrapstreet May issue

We all have these useless ABC leftovers- mostly numbers and XZ letters.
So this card was done to use them- also I opened the new red ABC for it- but I can live this this new one as far as I finished this AC thickers glitter set and even have a nice Love card.
The basic cardstock is AC and I used this Tim Holtz L(lifetime) charm and this home string that is not the scrappy item at all- and I begin to love it.
And for this week it's still good for some love and valentine challenges.
So here they are:Numbers - lots of them here- for Gingersnap
Duzzle it- for Fussy and fancy
Glam it up- all my glitter- for Clearly inspired
Keep it simple for Cupcake craft- this one has no blings, flowers, images- realy simple one leftovers card

This lo was a pick of the week and an issue for scraplifting challenge on Pamela's world forum- thanks!!
This is the 4 th and the last lo I did for my friend Daniel's wedding album- this one is very monochromatic one and very messy too.
I used gesso to adhere this brown string, then butter color acrylic paint for the rest of this AC textured cardstock, then white acrylic paint for the cardboard and crackle white paint for the chipboard and white Stazon for this clear transparency home die cuts I also embossed (3 big hearts)- so my hands are still very white.

This item was published in SCRAP STREET MAGAZINE May issue
This work one of TOP 5 at ABC challenge blog letter N- NEW- challenge- thanks!!

This work was on of TOP 3 on Die cut dreams Hearts challenge- thanks!!

I did this altered item over a long period- tried to see it from different angels and I still need better attachments between both sides (need to get it from some home store)- but finally I can show it and even close to Valentine day and our Israeli Family day . The inner photo is interchangable- I just used this old cute photo of 3 of my 4 kids ages ago- but everything that is about 8.5 '' * 6 '' will be great here as the canvas size is 12*9.5'' (30*24 cm)
As for the work- this is mixed media art- the book shape was done from 2 canvases with acrylics and lots of sand paper distressing and a bit of a candle technique.
All others are paper crafts items: October afterrnoon and Webster pages pp, Prima flowers, felt, flower centers, crystals and pearls,AC thickers brown chipboard shapes - distressed, Adornit music ribbon, Dress it up buttons, some
pins , K &co chipboard butterflies and some home store fabric doily.
I also did some paper piecing on the flower frame and used some 3d glue there on the raspberries. The title is A2Z scraplets chipboard and MM blings.
The metal corners were my last touch and here is is- closed and opened and some close up to the cover.
And finally this is the time to submit it for all these hearts and love challenges as I have 8 hearts here and this Valentine colors and lots of love for my family.

SO MUCH TO SEE - LO

This lo was done just now for Scrap the music challenge as I really wanted to scrap this " so much to see" with my DD South America long- long trip.
And the arrow was for Candy shoppe arrow challenge too.
So this one is more techniques than products- I did misting for the title and for stars (my daughters are the stars here. not the star stars..), stamped , pieced and inked clouds, using this parcel string as the frame and the real sewing tape as the embell. Even the key and lock are not " scrap items" but something from my " vintage" box. The mesh is reused from some flowers I got once too.
O, yes, I still used one pp from Prima- the back side and it's all misted.
So very economic lo and I really am pleased with it.
And it also fits some other challenges- non scrappy items for Hidden potential

Angel smile lo

This lo was published in May issue of Scrap n' Art magazine
This is the 3 rd lo I did for my friend Danielle's wedding album (one more photo left) and this time I decided to go almost monochromatic shabby style.

I used DCWV cardstock, Prima pp, very small piece of J. Bowlin pp for the felt Prima alphas matting, some vintage music paper, vintage yarn, some vintage lace fabric, MM pearled alphas, Q &CO felt, Prima blings and some heart shaped buttons. The big flower is pure handmade- 6 layers of lace and fabrics, I used the lighter to curl the edges (not for kids!!) - thanks for Yaffit G. for showing me the way to do it some months ago.

I did heavy distressing all around the pages with brown distress inking and I think Danielle will love this page- I hope...

As for challenges - all love one are still here, I am not sure I am going to link it to them, but still...

I did this wedding lo for my dear friend Danielle- she is a great scrapper, but after so and so los she did for her own wedding album she lost her mojo-

Celebration lo

This lo was done for Sketches:creatively yours sketch that was rotated 90 deg. left.
I used Prima printed transparency all together with it's packaging - great recicling too and no lower cardstock cost.
Then I took this stickers from EK , adhered them on the cardstock, cut them of, added some glitter and mixed them all over the lower cardstock with threads free .
The pink circle was light green pearled paper and I just misted it with these pink mist. Finally I added the title and the felt swirl over the transparency and the only reason the title is done from 5 abc packages is that all of them were used ones and I didn't find any new pack with colorful alphas.
