Black and white with a splash of color

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to show you a small art piece made with  Rubber Dance stamps and Tando Creative chipboards.
This piece was made in black/ white and a small splash of color red. I stamped Flourishes  and Vintage  Script Rubber Dance stamps over the white textured cardstock so it looks like stamping over canvas.
Then I added a few chipboard pieces covered with thick layers of embossing powders and added some red paint splashes around.
The word Dream - Rubber Dance stamp- was added as my title.

Die Versions April release: Nautical card

My very new card made with Die Versions new April release dies.

The background was made with Ovals background and the sentiment is a double cut of ForYou title, then colored with drops of red paint.

Make art everyday : Unity challenge card

This is my first time to try Unity montly challenge. I used the card sketch with Unity stamps, including Ann Butler's Faux Quilting Unity 2'' set and Ann Butler's Clearsnap Crafter's inks as my watercolors. The card is made with whitewash technique and I added Creative Embellishments chipboard and die cut from 2 Cheery Lynn basic oval sets. The final touches were some CIP paint drops  over the cardstock.

There is a season for everything... And a lot of work too..

This is a kind if " never finished" project, or at least I still have about 12 pages to add to this one. I used this " There is a season for everything" Bible quote and I am just in a process of it. I only made the cover and about 4 pages, but the concept is to add more and more  Mixed Media pages to this self- made with Bind-It-All project (it opens from the top and from both sides and the reason I used the huge wire on the top is that it will be very fat after I finish it all.

The Zutter acrylic 8*8 cover was stamped all over and I added this Tando Creative fantastic clock chipboard.The lower cover was painted with Tim Holtz distress stains, stamped with Unity clock stamp  and then I added some bubble wrap white paint stamping.
I made just 4 pages for now (will add more in time, maybe one a month)
The pages I made are Time to love, time for peace, time to plant and time to sew. I didn't make all " bad" thing yet (like time to die?)

Hello , Winter wall deco- WOW Embossing Powders January post

Hello. my dear crafty friends! My name is Irit and this is my very first post here, also for a year I was on Wow Embossing Powders USA team, so I am not new to those gorgeous Wow products at all.
This month is a month of Ice and Snow in our blog. Ice and snow for Israeli girl? We hardly see snow once in a lifetime. But as I design only for out of Israel companies, I do have great winter products to design with and today I am going to show you my "Hello, Winter" wall deco full of Wow stamps and powders.

The basic part of this deco is this 30*30 cm (12*12'') chipboard piece from Australian A2Z Scraplets company. It was a long way to make this board to look like it is now: each part of it was covered with Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed with a lot of WOW powders.
I used Metallic Silver Sparkle , Azure, Pastel Blue and Neutral Ultra Shimmer in a mix and most of them were double or triple embossed.

Then I made this inner stamped circle: American Crafts light blue cardstock was stamped (on the smooth side, not over this textured one) with a lot of Wow stamps. I used Brocade, French Music and all three backgrounds form Funky Border Strips set and made them in a kind of a grid , totally randomly, stamping with the same Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Bright White embossing powder.

After stamping and heat embossing I cut a circle and embossed it around with Azure powder.

The Pink Paislee huge chipboard letters were distressed and then heat embossed with Neutral Ultra Shimmer powder again. Finally I added some American Crafts letters and as those letter are not so sticky after all, I made a made a thin line over them with Glossy Accents (my tip for altered projects using so called self adhesive letters- looks great and different).

Then I added some button snowflakes and one big grunge board one on the bottom. I decided not to add any more embellishments over the central part as I wanted the stamping be shown and not covered with other products.

My new page made with 3!! photos- not me usually and A2Z  Scraplets very new February release title- 3 words . I used Bo Bunny papers and embellishments for this page and a hand die cut for journaling. Another small A2Z chipboards piece is added under the photos.

Many techniques on You

This page was made as my first lo for WOW Embossing powders   for CHA booth and as you can see the whole page was stamped with Brocade WOW background stamp and then heat embossed with WOW Clear glossy regular powder. Then it was inkes with a mix of Clearsnap chalk inks and the base was done. I also heat embossed the scalloped cardstock with Suzy West Earthtone collection Earthtone Honey Regular  powder. The tags were Sizix  die cuts from embossed with the same stamp cardstock, using Suzy West Red Cable Regular , Bay Area Blue Regular  and Earthtone Olive Regular   powders. Then those Epiphany Crafts Round 14 epoxies were made using  the same embossed papers  and added Momenta titles. Ok- now for this A2Z chipboard flowers: handpainted with Creative Inspirations Paints and heat embossed with WOW clear powder and Suzy West Earthtone Honey  powders over the paint

Love in Black and White

So I am addicted. TOTALLY addicted to Tando chipboard mini printers trays and this is a new one, made in pure B/W, but all about Love. Things we love, things we cherish.
I used Robin's Nest most glittered black and white cardstocks, lots of Tando chipboards, lots of Creative Inspirations Paints embossing powders and some paints, some Epiphany Crafts goddies, some stamps, flowers, ribbons... I didn't use.... I used every possible crafting thing I have in black and  white or can paint to those colors and is small enough to fit 6*6 tray.
I also enter this to Black and White challenge for EAD deisgns

A2Z Scraplets January new release is something you need to see !!! The most gorgeous chipboards- all kinds and sizes and this 12*12'' Butterfly frame in in my personal opinion the best of the best.

As the frame is bare brown chipboard, first I covered it all with white gesso, then, after it was dry , I added a fine mix of pastel colors from Creative Inspirations Paints with a sponge.

The next step was to cover the whole frame with Clear Embossing Ink (Watermark) and to heat emboss it with Fine Clear Embossing Powder (Creative Inspirations Paints powders). For the final touch I inked it around with Clearsnap brown ink. 

Click on the close up photo to see this shiny look of the frame.

I used Kaisercrafts papers here and their sketch too- the round one inside the frame, not trimming needed and  I hand cut all those flowers and layered them around.

Journaling tag was stamped  with Inspired by Stamping Butterflies stamp set and all stamped and heat embossed butterflies came from the very same set too.

Some other embellishments used here: Kaisercrafts wood lock, border sticker and small letter stickers, Prima  pearls and AC vinyl alphas for a title.

Paint your shiny garden

Hello, dear artistic friends! Irit is here with my second January tutorial and this time we are going to use some embossing powders over painted chipboards
Here is the product list for this project:
Creative Inspiration Paints: Garnet, Fucsia, Blush, Evergreen, Lime
Flower and leave shaped chipboards (I used Tando Creative ones, but you can die cut yours at home)
White gesso
Clear and yellow embossing powders
Heat gun
And now let's get fun
1. Cover all bare brown shapes with white gesso and let it dry. White shapes doesn't need to be covered with gesso.

2. Paint your leaves with 2-3 shades of greens, add some clear embossing powder over the wet paint

Clear powder covered, not heated yet

3. Heat the powder- you get some bubbles from the heated paint, but I just love the look.

4. Cover the flowers (they are white and don't need any gesso) with red and pink paint

5. Add some yellow embossing powder over the wet paint

6. Heat the colored powder with your heat gun

And now just arrange those painted ad embossed beauties over your project

Shiny beaded snowflakes

Hello, dear Creative friends! Irit is here again with my first January tutorial and this time I am going to show you how to use your " lost and not found" microbeads and micro glass beads over Creative Inspirations Paints with no glue for this nice and shiny effect.

And now to work:
I made a few samples with tag shaped bare chipboards to show you the options on bead coverage.
Sample 1: Cover the bare chipboard with white gesso and let it dry.

You can skip this step if you have white shapes. Add  a lot of Creative Inspiration paint

Now sprinkle your colored microbeads over the wet paint. Don't wait too much as we want to adhere the beads without using any glue.Let it dry.
Sample 1- Gold micro beads

Sample 2: Cover another piece with CI Paints and add glass microbeads (those are a real smallest possible glass chips) over the wet paint. Let it dry.

Sample 3: Cover the gessoed shape with a lot!! of paint and add some seed beads. I used 3-4 colors for this sample and we need the thick paint layer as those beads are bigger.

And now for my finished project- I used 2 kinds of microbeads and glass beads.

The upper snowflake on this project was made with clear glass micro beads.

The middle one was made with gold micro beads.

The lower one was made with silver ones.

Don't use too much beads, as we want to see this gorgeous paint color over the shapes.
The lower basic shapes under the snowflakes on this project were covered with gesso and the same paint without beads as they were brown bare chipboards (snowflakes were white).
Now adhere the snowflakes as shown, add some blings and connect the ornament with ribbons.
I know, the tree is gone for now, but there is always the next year for this gorgeous ornament
