Great catch with Robin's Nest net...

New Robin's Nest project made with this most unique Fish net from Robin's Nest company and all other RN products. I also used Tando Creative piece covered with some real sand.

GOOD OLD DAYS- AD THIS 10/26

II did this lo for Ad this inspiration and it actually fit A 2 Z inspiration challenge too.

It's very simple lo with one black cardstock and some color techniques and I used this book binding tape ( from office store) and old piece of white tulle from some flowers we got sometime in the past.

I think this one is good for this " 20 minutes lo " - as all you need to do is to get some acrylic paint, some plastic round shape ( here it was small vine plastic glass) and the white shapes were done with fingers, than I just added this binding tape (it has glue on it ) and a piece of die cut felt- has glue too, a bit of lace, some bling and this tulle and some Thicker's ac alphas. That 's it- cheap, elegant and fast lo.And yes- that's me at 36- these good old days!!

HAPPY +card- AD THIS DT TAKE

This week our AD THIS DT girls were asked to do both LO abd card from the same inspirational ad. I went for colors on my LO and for hat on my card

As I had this cute straw hat my girls bought me (lot of actually..) S. America last year and I never used one- this was perfect for this card

I used Bg ppaper, MM shaped base , Prima ribbons and Dress it up buttons and sentiment and stamped some butterflies on/

The lo was made from Webster pages pp- misted with Tattered angels mist, I also did a lot of paper piecing from second pp and layered it 3d, used some 3d glue , crackled white paint on the fense and used a lot of stamps- UNITY trees, paper pieced too , Unity birds with this 3d glue on and WHIMSY frogs on the buttom- to close the circle.

The butterflies are BG paper die cuts I made and added some blings and journaling stripes are from Creative cafe. The title is AC Thickers and I added some scallopes as a matting too.

So it's good for some challenges too:

IN SCARLET'S SHOES- AD THIS DT TAKE 10/12

This weeks ad from AD THIS (my dt take) was screamming a shoe.

Than I thought about this black and brown with touch of pink colors and here it it- my DDIL on her wedding day in SCARLET O' Harra pose (not a big nanny but 2 good friends).

So I used this PRIMA paintable paper- but I just rubbed it a bit with some distress inks and some lod piece " NO NAME' pp for matting.

The chipboard corner is from MM as well as printed tranparency under the photo(Black tie line). The words from ATD and the aphas from MM

Unfortunatly I was out of S AND E- so I just " fixed" some other letters to its shape

This LO was pure inspiration from the AD THIS ad of oldfashioned lady with the apron. I also did this one for SCRAP THE POETRY - IF challenge:

"If you can dream- and not to do dreams your master " is so right for my DD!!

My twin DD NITZAN is very oldfasioned dreamer- so I did this lo for here- dreaming about good old days with lots of cute kids around her.

This was my first time to use HEIDI SWAPP invisibles paper- I colored it with distress Ranger inks and I love the result very much

I also used some old lace I had for ages, old " silver" broch,some lace curtain piece, PRIMA flowers and crystal, round MM bling, some Dress it up plastic embels and ... DECALS!!

This cute kids are old decals (water based stickers) I kept for ages and I tried it on paper(is was for ceramics)- and it works( so I have lots more to use)

I did some faux stitches over decal with white gel pen and added some music vellum leftover I still had.

And as for the challenges- this one is great for " CLOSE UP PHOTO" for Creativity with a twist

OVER THE RAINBOW- AD THIS DT TAKE 9/28

For this LO made for new AD THIS challenge DT work I decided to get my inspiration from small colored stripes and as I had great rainbow photo- all else was easy.

The techniques were masking / misting on the corner using what was left from previous die cutting- chalking white foam alphas with rainbow colors ,dooing some ribbon collage, misting lazer cut white paper and doodling around the page.

I used sketch for this challenge too- #152 from PENCILINES

As the " somewhere" alphas are die cuts it's good for a few challenges too:

This lo was made for AD THIS 9/21 DT - and the moment I saw this ad with hollywood girls I knew I an going to do it " upside down"- scrapping my own girls photos with their ugly green army uniforms and remembering 2 years of washing and ironing it.

So I used this green- brown colors with a bit of yellow (my girls shine in green after all) and very " army stile" embels- like metal- yarn- brown button ( the same they had on their uniform) and added some hidden journaling too.

The " once upon a time" - princess card (RAK from my friend ANAT S) and Queen on the pp are the " fairy tale" as they are queens of brands and stile that nobody can see on these photos.

I also added a bit of distressing- doodlling and green paint - and here it is- BEST HOLLYWOOD FASHION (LOL)

For this lo I used # 153 SKETCH from SCRAPSKETCH

It also has clips for SCRAP OUTSIDE THE BOX

I also was inspired by " SUCCULENT" photo of cactus of ETSY INSPIRED challenge and it is not only the colors. Cactus in hebrew is TZABAR- and it is a name for ISRAELI born . I was born in Ukraine, but my kids are TZABARS- and it means sweet inside and " don't touch me" from outside

DRINK FOR LIFE- AD THIS 9/14 DT TAKE

This new lo was made for AD THIS DT CHALLENGE AT SEPT. 14 and this huge vodka bottle inspired me to write about toasts.

Every nation drinks for something, but only jewish drink " for life" as it is the most precious thing to drink for- even more than health (russian drink for health and I was born there so I even did this part of journaling in Russian)

Then I found this great photo between my hundreds of picks and here it is-

very bright and very " non IRIT" LO.

And very cheap too: 1 DCWV cardstock, 1 glossy white paper- I think from some paper pack back (no cost at all), some dotted pp leftovers (only for these teared places to cover and part of matting), some PINK PAISLEY chipboard used many times ABC, some EK STICKO stickers, 2 flower blings, single PRIMA flower and half of MM journaling page.

I tried here a new technique using alcohol RANGER inks with pressed air spray- I loved the results and I did a lot of tearing . This pressed air thing is great on glossy paper or transparency or acrylic piece- but don't do it on regular paper- doesn't work there.

החומרים בדף היו כלום- דף קרדסטוק אחד זול, דף לבן מבריק שהיה בעצם החלק האחורי של אריזת חסכון של דפים- זבל בעצם, כמה חתיכות של נייר מדוגם שמלאתי איתם את הקרעים , אותיות מסט שכבר טחנתי רבות, שני פרחי אבן חן מחנות שכונתית, פרח פרימה אחד שווהת אבל אחד בלבד וכמה מדבקות של סטיקו- שאין יותר זול מזה בשוק

השתמשתי בטכניקה של דיו אלכוהולי על נייר מבריק עם אוויר דחוס בספריי- כזה שקונים לניקוי מקלדת

בחנות של ציוד משרדי

אז שתו לחיים- אבל זכרו לא לנהוג כי אם שותים- לא נוהגים, בשביל זה יש חברים

This LO was made for my first DT challenge in AD THIS challenge blog

When I've seen this green ad- the first word I thought about was" go green- save the planet"

So this LO was actually for us - people - crying these crocodile tears for our poor mother earth and doing nothing really to save it(as you should know crocodile's tears are fake).

The crocodile photo was taked by my DS and DH on their trip to Brazil.

I used only one piece of pp(I think it was FANCY PANTS- but I am not sure now) on this LO and lots of recicling objects:

the cardboard cut - the real wood pieces- cork- hand cut circle from chipboard I

painted with distress ink from RANGER.

I added small buttons on the trees , cut some olive ribbon for grass, cut some leaves from leftover papers I had and added small watch (who knows were from) for us to remember that we are out of time to save us and our kids.

The chipboard butterflies are from the RAC I got from A TO Z SCRAPLETS blog

and it was painted with RANGER distress stickles with some pearls on

I also added some crystal eyes to paper owl- to watch around and did some journaling about my thoughts on some sticky pad paper I got free on CHA.

I did some deacidation on this LO with archival mist as I do believe in this

" acid free" issue.

I really like this lo as a concept- not as a piece of art.

Cry for us mother earth- as we don't cry for you!!
