Blackboard project with IBS

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my post made for Inspired by Stamping!
This is a 3D Friendship crafts week here on Inspired by Stamping and I altered a lovely cheap blackboard as my gift to a crafty friend.

Here is a small tutorial I made for you:
1. Stamp Inspired by Stamping Fresh Bouquet large stamp with white pigmented ink over black cardstock and heat emboss with white embossing powder. You can sure use Clear embossing ink ; but white over white gives the best results.

2. Use Tim Holtz (Ranger) distress crayons to color the embossed image.

I just added color over the piece and wiped with baby wipe. You can't see the " over colored" places when you work  on black cardstock, so you don't need to do a nice coloring after all.

3. Add more crayon colors over the stamped piece.

4. This is how this blackboard look and I decided to embellish one side and to leave the second for a real chalk writing.

5. Stamp the sentiment over the stamped piece with the same white ink and white powder heat embossing.

Die cut the stamped and colored piece with stitched rectangle die (Elizabeth Crafts). 

Add strips of black and white washi tape and embellish with black rhinestones.

Add a black swirl of pearls  over the stamped piece and your gift is all done!

Happy day wishes: chalkboard technique

 This is a card I made a long time ago and sent to print. As it was  already print published, I can show it here and maybe to use for some web challenges too.
Made with Sweet Stamps in my beloved chalkboard technique with white ink plus white embossing powder stamping over black solid cardstock and adding some more white ink around the images.
I enter it to Happy Little Stamper Case the designer challenge- black and white and flowers.

And one last card for today made for the challenges. I know, I made quite a few, but not today. Last weekend. I just looked at my very large stamp stash and picked the stamps that I kept for ages and I love. Then I checked the companies and if they have a challenge- I made a card for this challenge. So simple.
This card is with more than one fold and was made for Repeat Impressions stamps. I used the Hope, Dream, Inspire word panel for the closure. Stamped with black heat embossing and misted with Tattered Angels mist to fit the heat embossed vintage chipboard frame. The flower is hand made from 3 die cuts and then arranged to one big flower and painted with gold . I used DCVW new paper stack I got from them as a present and I really love this ALL OCCASSION card in light vintage style.

Celebrate your day with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second March post for Two Paper Divas.
This card was made with two of new stamp sets from this lovely stamp company and I was back to paper piecing.
I  stamped the Large Cupcake stamp three times and made the layers with Ann Butler's Clearsnap Crafter's inks and clear embossing powder over the layers. I added some sprinkles with chunky glitter and glaze and arranged the cupcake over the die cut (MFT).
Another die cut from the same set was used for the stamped sentiment using the very same Large Cupcake set.
Some stickers and pearls were added to finish this fancy Birthday or other celebration card.

My bright side window : Watercolors with Mixed Media Mojo

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my inspirational post made for Mixed Media Mojo challenge blog.

This month we challenge you to make Spring project and if you want you may use watercolors too.

So here is my Spring window and as you see I did used a lot of watercolors  here.

My pick were Faber Castell Gelatos and I made the background with them and then colored the heat embossed stamped images with the same Gelatos over the images. The resist technique works perfectly with those colors. 

Spring is the season of innovation and hope. So I made the window sign  in this mood : Look for you hope

Adorable- with Sparkle - Layout

 It was quite awhile since I scrapped. I know. So one scrapbooking layout for February, made for some web challenges only  with just a little of my DT products.
This is my gorgeous grand daughter Neta a year and something ago. She is bigger now and still gorgeous.
I made  it with DCWV cardstocks ; chipboards from all different companies; some Prima flowers; a bit of bling from FWAB company.
The backround was made with Tim Holtz stencils- 3 of them and the crackle paste from DecoArts.
Paints are all Ann Butler's Iridescents from Earth Safe Finishes.
 The sub title is Visible Image stamped  over the basic cardstock  and heat embossed with embossing glitter.

Dreaming of Spring with Inspired by Stamping

 Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here and  I want to welcome to my post with new Inspired by Stamping gorgeous   Cherry Blossoms stamp set.
 For a long time I make cards without any patterned paper. I don't know why, but I just try to make lovely cards with solid cardstocks and tools I have in my hands. As long as you own some good dies, markers/paints and a pair of good scissors- you don't really need to hunt for the new, just released, patterned paper and then to see that every second card or paper project are made with the very same collection.
So here is my today's recipe for lovely spring card made of cardstock only and IBS lovely new Cherry Blossoms stamps.

1. Make the background basic card from Kraft cardstock. Die cut the background from green textured cardstock and as usual, those die fit the usual 6*4'' card perfectly.  As it's pretty complex to glue this kind of die cut to the card, I used staples and I am pretty much happy with the result.
2. Make 2 half circled die cuts with pearled light green paper (yes, it's very light shadow if green, not white or cream one). Arrange both halves in the middle of your card as shown.
3. Cut the Kraft cardstock strip that is wide enough to fit the stamped sentiment, but not much more as we want to see the dies behind the strip. Stamp the sentiment from Apple blossoms stamp set with black permanent ink.
4. Stamp the blossoms  with Memento ink over cardstock that is good for alcohol markers. Color the flowers as you like. Hand cut them and arrange over the strip with 3d foam glue.
5. Add 2 strips of  stitches (those are clear stickers used here). Add the bracket sticker and some green pearls near the sentiment.  Say hello to your new Spring beauty!

TPD February Love card

 Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first February post  made for Two Paper Divas blog.
February is a month of Love as you all know. So this is a first card made with new I chews you  stamps from TPD.
This card is made with cardstocks only. I made light purple cardstock background and added the punched pink piece over the side. Another side was embellished with a die cut piece and then I added the stamped and paper pieced new image with stamped hearts that were all covered with pearl red paint.
The sentiment from the very same stamp set was stamped directly over the card with black ink and I added a random red pearls over the front of this card. I hope that you like my new card.

Merry Christmas mini album cover

Hello my dear crafty friends! Today I made an  easy and quick tutorial for you  with new IBS, just released stamp  Festive Greetings stamp set.


I decided to make the mini album cover, but it's still 4*6'' size, so it can be done as a card.
Here are the steps to make this project:
1. Arrange a piece of Green burlap, a piece of Red and Green pin dot cardstock and a piece of All wrapped cardstock over the journal cover as shown.Heat emboss the edges of both cardstocks with Gold embossing powder , using VersMark ink.

2.  Paint the chipboard with red acrylic  paint and heat emboss with Clear embossing powder to get the shiny look.
3.Stamp the sentiment over the oval chipboard with red ink and arrange into the smaller painted frame over the cover. Mist it all with golden mist and let it dry.

4.Stamp the light bulbs bottom stamp with different pigmented inks and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

5.Stamp the upper Light bulb stamp over the first layer with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with Gold powder. Hand cut all bulbs.

6.Arrange the hand cut bulbs over a piece of  jute with 3D foam glue dots. Add the pearls and cover each stamped piece- the sentiment too- with glaze. Let it dry and enjoy your album cover!

We are family card with TPD

 Hello my deqr crafty friends and welcome to my second Two Paper Divas post for October.
This time I made a simple card with one of my most favorite stamps from TPD: In this house.
I love this stamp a lot and I used parts of it on my previous projects, but this is a first time I used the whole stamp and I made it in a kind of " greyboards" with white powder heat embossing and black inking over with wiping.  I added some fancy black rhinestones to make this simple card to look fancy and this is a great card for a new family or old friends.

Fall into Autumn lo- September themed project

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Paper House Productions themed week. Themed project means we used themed papers and stickers for our project and Fall - just around the corner- is a perfect theme for a perfect products. But I didn't find a lot of Fall themed papers in the shop, so I just made my own " themed kit" with very similar papers in fall style.
So here is my Fall layout and PHP 3d sticker title says it all : Fall into Autumn with my lovely photos and those lovely papers and stickers that made my layout.

Living in Israel makes a real fall to be something you can see only out of the country. We actually have only Summer and then a very hot summer. So I try to catch fall photos whenever it's possible and this is a mix of them on this page without being sure where exactly I took them (Europe, 2014- this is  for sure).

I worked with themed patterned paper and just one single package of fall themed stickers and made my own sketch for all 5 photos.

Embellishments: Leaves- Flourish with a Bling

Directions:1.Cut the Leaves paper to 11 1/2*11 1/2'' size. Distress the edges and glue it over the basic

paper with a little diagonal twist as shown

2.Cut a few strips fromAt the lake wood  paper and add the 1/2'' strips cut from basic paper vertically on the left side of your page. Distress them all before  adhering over the page.
3. Make matting from At the lake wood and Lowland Camo paper and glue your 6*4'' trimmed photo over the matting. Then glue the matted photo on the top right of your page.
4. Trim all other 4 photos to 3*4'' size and make the matting for those photos. Glue them over the strips as shown. Add 3d Fall stickers, one photo sticker and one canvas sticker as  shown.
Add plastic leaves under the upper sub- title. Make your hand written journalling on the bottom of the page with white pen.

Sometimes I have spare time. It happens maybe once or twice a year. So I have time to make some projects for some web challenges and this time I made a challenge for The Robin's Nest  September sketch.
I made the second (only second) page for my DD Wedding album, using PHP themed papers and stickers and some TRN products that were a good fit for my layout: glitter gold chipboard, gold and pearl  mini dew drops and regular gold dew drops.
