Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my weekly post made for Two Paper Divas stamp company.
This time I decided to make the OOP project and made this huge bottle cap magnet/ornament/ whatever.
I covered it inside with pink lace and pink ribbon; added a huge pink tulle bow; covered the inside with Japanese paper ( almost non seen....sorry) and made the stamped on the vellum inside circle.
I used one of those cute stamps from TPD Seed Packet Flowers set, stamped with white ink over milky vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Then I colored each flower with distress markers and glued it inside over the Japanese paper. I added Zva Creative pearl strips inside and my shabby magnet was done.

Beautiful orchids with Inspired by Stamping
Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is my new layout made as a piece of " make your own background" experiment.
I made a lot of stamped and stencilled background, but this time I added almost a full package of thin clear stamps to add the texture to this page that was made because of the stamp.
How can it be? It can. First I got this Orchid stamp from IBS Australian Nature 1 set , then I tried to find good photos to fit it and I actually found a lot from our trip to Orchid garden.
So I added 3 photos in line and made the background around with stamping the same stamp 4 times and coloring with distress markers over the patterned paper. Then I added some stickers over the photos and made the finishing touches with corner and title heat embossed chipboards, canvas. 3d and puffy stickers and a few pieces of ribbons I never use... The stamped butterflies from the same stamp set were the last second add- ons and work perfectly with the sticker ones, colors and my photos. And then the little stamped bird over the canvas sticker was the must! The sticker says : Sing your song and the bird was " must to add" image here.

Inspired by Stamping Birthday blog hop

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my blog today!
Surprise! I'm here today, along with other gals on the Inspired By Stamping design team, to wish the Inspired By Stamping store'sowner, Joanna, a happy 3rd anniversary for the store and an early happy birthday! You should have arrived here from Grace Tolman's blog. If not, and you'd like to join in the fun, please start at Joanna's blog and hop along with us to wish her many happy returns! We've all made birthday creations to share using Inspired By Stamping products. Come and take a peek at mine!
And now for my story:
3 years ago, on October 2011, I found a Design Team call for Inspired by Stamping stamps company.
I wasn't much of a stamper those days, but I tried each and every possible call as I was very new to crafting, designing or being on any team, but challenge blogs only.
I made this team and this was my very first stamping company design spot. Three years later, with like 10 stamp companies more in my resume, I am still on this team!
And I hope it will be forever. Just two of us left from the original list: Kendra Sand and I, but this team feels like Home, and this is a place you want to stay forever and ever.
So this month Inspired by Stamping is 3 years old.
In a few more days our dear owner, Joanna, will celebrate her birthday.
Happy Birthday to you both: the girl who had a dream and the company that is this " Dream did come true".
I want to thank Joanna for the chance she gave me then and for the opportunity to be creative with her gorgeous stamps, papers, dies and files. This is a place to create whatever I want, in any style and to be true to my artistic way with all IBS products and to show the world that any stamp can be used by any crafter if you just have a bit of imagination.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO INSPIRED BY STAMPING AND TO OUR DEAR JOANNA!

Autumn colors for Tando
Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today with my new Fall inspiration.
I love fall, also we don't have this real fall in Israel. We just have two seasons: summer and a very hot summer. But then I was born in Russia and there we had all those falling leaves and fantastic fall colors. So this project is made with my childhood memories: colors and smell and a lot of falling leaves around.
I made this frame with a mix of distress inks and some embossing powders and my leaves were painted with FC gelatos and covered with glaze. The book plate was also inked and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The background paper and the title sticker are from PHP.
Tando products used for this project:
Minis leaves 3
Scalloped nested rectangles
Mini book plate

Life as a puzzle with Rubber Dance
Hello my dear crafty friends!
I am not a very trendy girl when it comes to outfits or home decoration; but when I craft I try to incorporate a few of latest trends as usually people are looking for them. But then it's always my own take of those trends.
So here are some trends I tried to show on this altered recycled puzzle trio:
Pink and Aqua colors- but I made them more saturated
Recycling- this one is done " as is": the puzzle pieces were found in the trash and I really up cycled them to this art piece.
Chipboards: I used at least one chipboard over each puzzle piece, but I altered them a lot as a usual trend is to leave them bare, whitewash or inked a bit.
Mixed Media art trend- ongoing one: I tried to make it " lighter"; not to cover all pieces with a heavy layer of gesso, masks, mists and inks. Just to use stamps, some inks and embossing powders over this piece.
It still counts as Mixed Media, but in my own really light way.
And now for some close- ups.
Each puzzle piece was stamped with a one main encouragement sentiment from Something Wonderful set with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with black fine detail powder. Then I stamped Lace background around the sentiment with the same ink and white fine detail embossing powder. Then I added a few of Collage elements stamps with black embossing again over the white lace image. Both powders work as emboss resist technique when you ink/color over them; so I used a mix of distress Ranger inks to make the color mix over the pieces.
The chipboards were glittered with blue glitter embossing powder and glued over the pieces.
I made the holes with my forgotten hole punch and tied some vintage ribbons to connect the puzzle pieces.
Some random pearls are my only extra embellishment over this piece as I wanted the stamps to shine and not to be covered with layers of flowers and leaves and swirls.
I hope you got some inspiration from my art piece and see you again!

Inspired by Stamping new release: 3 easy tags with Teeny Tiny Greetings
Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post made with Inspired by Stamping most delicious new released stamp set: Teeny Tiny Greetings
I really love this set for the option to use much more that one single sentiment over the card or tag. There are small and pretty and you can combine 3- or even 4 of them over one single project and they are just adorable! But please be careful with those stamps: as small as they are , they are easy " gone" into the trash bin or around the table.
So here is my three gift tags made with this set and using some stamps from 2 other new released sets around the sentiments.
Autumn blessings check background over tag #1
Flower of the month: Aster dotted square over tag #2
Flower of the month : Aster chevrons strip over tag #3
I used 2 colors of inks and just mixed them over the tags and then added same ribbons and made a sturdy background for those tags.
As you can see I managed to use a lot of tiny sentiments on each tag and they are all different! So much more left unused: it's a perfect never ending sentiment set!
And now some close ups to my tags:

More stamped jewelry with Ann Butler's stamps and inks
Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my monthly Ann Butler's products blog post!
A few weeks ago I made a small pink and black jewelry piece with Tando jewelry elements and Ann Butler's stamps. I loved it so much that I decided to make three more wearable pieces with the same technique and in different colors.
So welcome my new wearable papercrafts.
The first one is this purple and black piece made with Ann Butler's faux quilting Unity stamps. I stamped over the white cardstock and hear embossed the pieces with clear embossing powder, Then I inked the stamped cardstock with Lilac Crafters ink from Clearsnap (Ann Butler's product again). The chipboard frame was covered with a think payer of Ann Butler's Earth Safe Finishes Lilac paint and the thick layer gave it a good non even texture. I added some pearls inside the piece and used the same dotted ribbon for the bow.
The second piece is this orange and black one.
Same stamping technique, but this time the frame was made with Ann Butler's Tangelo ink and clear embossing powder only.
The last piece was made in blues, with Ann Butler's Aquamarine ink and clear embossing powder over the frame. This time I added some pre made flowers in the same color as the ink to make it a bit different.
And here are all my beauties together.
Product list:
Ann Butler's Faux Quilting stamps
1'' Leaves all over
1'' Doily picnic
Crafter's inks Clearsnap
Aquamarine
Tangelo

Imaginatium GD post #2
Hello my dear crafty friends!

This is Irit Shalom here again as Imaginarium September Guest Designer and this time I made an altered shabby style printers tray to showcase those gorgeous Imaginarium chipboards.
This is my son's small family (since those photos were taken they got another little girl into their family) and I decided to make it in this pastel shabby style.
This 7 Gypsies tray was dark brown and I just painted it to this dirty white color with a simple paint spray.
Most of the chipboard were added on the outer side of the frame. They are so beautiful to hide them inside.
So two larger ones framed the main photos: Window with lattice and shutters and Frame 1.
Both were covered with gesso, then heat embossed with white embossing powder and then misted with a light pink mist.I didn't try to make the coverage perfect as this is this style where some bare spots are just welcome.
As I already used Capture Moments Smile inside chipboards for my two other projects, I decided to use the negative as a mask with light pink colored gel medium over the patterned paper. And it worked great! What a nice use of all possible leftovers! Just try it on your projects too.
The oval frame was painted in the same way as two large photo frames and I used it for the partial title of this project with a chipboard word " Family" inked with distress ink and connected with a strip of glossy accents. This is my favorite way to connect letters : looks so much different and glues the letters perfectly.
The leaves with holes smaller piece was just heat embossed with white powder and glued over the top of the oval frame.
And now for another " use everything " item: two negatives from Edward relief ornament were used as small photo frames. I added " Just for you" inked chipboard inside the first frame and framed a photo with an extra flourish under the frame in the second one.
The second part of my title , word " Forever" was made with upper and low single letters and as you can see for this word you really need to use both sets or to get doubles. Anyway I managed to make the word and as you can see glued it in the same " add the glossy accents line over" style.
Hope you like my altered tray and see you again with my last post as Imaginarium Guest Designer in a couple of weeks. Please visit Imaginarium blog for the full list of products used to make this project.
I enter it for a couple of web challenges

Fun for fun and any other letter too..
Hello my dear crafty friends! Today I want to share a card I made with those fabulous Ann Butler's Faux quilting stamps from Unity and it's just a sample card. Why just a sample? As actually you (and I) can do a lot of those cards using any background and a small tag with one single monogram letter from Ann Butler's Flourish 2'' ABC from Kellycraft stamp set ,and gorgeous Unity 1'' Faux Quilting stamps (any stamp can be used here as this is just a random background stamping with Ann great Clearsnap Crafter's Inks).
So you can make it L for Love, H for, I for Imagination and so on. You got it, do you?
And just a few words about the background: it was made with Die Versions background die as a mask and then this inked mask was added over the inked surface. Here is another fast technique for you: any background die can be used as a mask. Just rub the inks over it and let it dry a bit.
Hope you like this concept and will do some similar projects in the future.
