Welcome to our house of horror

This art page was made long time ago for a print submission.

It didn't make the print magazine and right now, just before the Halloween , it's a perfect time to share it with the readers of my blog.

So as you can see- a lot of stamping with heat embossing, paints and mists, and a huge title made from chipboard letters.

Altered cross stictch hoop- with PHP

This is a wooden cross stitch hoop altered to a nice Christmas wall hanging/tree ornament using the card sketch. The only tool used here is scissors- to cut the rounded paper piece in the middle. The cardstock tree lights stickers are bendable and were added around the curved paper piece as borders. Easy to make
project- for or with kids. Can be done for any other occasion/ Holidays too using just paper and stickers.

Happy Halloween tray with Makin's Clay

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my post made for Makin's Clay company.
I love Halloween even without celebrating it.
I adore the colors, the dark feeling and the items for crafting.
So this altered chipboard Wicked house was made with love and with a lot of Makin's Clay images.
I used Halloween Makin's Clay cutter set set and made a hat, an owl. a black cat and the bat.
All of those were made from Makin's Black clay and then textured with Makin's Clay texture sheets.
Then I added some gold pigmented powder over the wet pieces and let them dry.
All of those pieces and all other stickers/flowers were arranged in this house of horror.

I an a guest designer for this company from September, but they asked as to make a small project for this small release of two gorgeous new stamp sets.
I got Cool Chicks set and made a card and a matching bookmark with those stamps.
As my " real" stamps are still on the way, I worked with printables and the best way to print them was on vellum. The only problem with vellum is the glue spots under the pieces. I didn't find the right glue that is not seen at all. So for now I just added a few sparkle rhinestones wherever the glue was seen.
I also added some more of SNS products that I already own.
Some Bubble gum glitter was added over the card (using s drop of glaze under it); some Fire Engine Red glitter was added over the second piece with the same glaze to keep the glitter over the printed image.

3D Spring project for Inspired by Stamping

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is my Spring 3d project made for Inspired by Stamping company using this gorgeous new released Butterflies set.
I made this project from the " trash to treasure". The huge spool is made from two old CD-s and the toilet paper roll was added between two disks.
The " spool" was covered with PHP patterned paper and I stamped a lot of vellum butterflies with heat embossing and a lot of glitters.
I added the sentiment on the spool base and embellished with spring flowers, pearls and tulle.

PWP Mixed Media Monday

This is my last for this term project made for PWP blog. This time I made a gift card holder/bag with Tim Holtz glassine bag that was dry embossed with his folder and then heat embossed over with pink powders.
I used PWP clip images- the fairy girl, the bird and the flowers were just cut out the clip sheets.
The wing was covered with pink fine glitter. I stamped this some hanging flowers on the bag bottom, but it's hard to see after all. The O, Happy day sentiment is stamped on the bottom.

PWP Spotlight Sunday: Key to your Kingdom

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Spotlight Sunday PWP post.

This is my altered chipboard deco made with Tando chipboards and a lot of PWP stamps and even more mediums.

I call it " Key to a Kingdom" and it's a masculine piece that can be given to a man in our life.

I used 3d textured paints (over the frame); a lot of embossing powders over the chipboards.
I stamped into the molding paste on the background and then misted the wet paste with a mix of mists.
The very same stamps were stamped with black permanent ink over already embossed outer surfaces. The inner circle was heat embossed with black powder and then misted over.
The King and a Crown stamps were stamped and heat embossed with Gold powder and then hand cut and glued over the art piece.
There is a lot of paint and embossed texture on this project and after all it was just a " play with your supplies" work: I used a mix of mediums we all keep and my heat gun just worked extra hours.

White winter

Welcome to my Winter White project.
I made a layered arch frame using all possible white mediums and one totally gorgeous PWP Build a Scene stamp set.
The background layer was stamped over a cardstock and heat embossed with white powder. The clouds were embossed with puffy white embossing powder and then some touches of Pearl pen were added.

The outer frame was painted with Ranger Picket Fence crackled paint and then a few touches of pearl pen were added as well as some silver micro beads (just for a bit of interest as it was too much of white)

The second layer was stamped and hand cut and then adhered inside the arch. The trees were embellished with Liquid Applique and some 3D white paint was added in between the layers and became my snow.

I also added a few clear and pearl Dew Drops over the piece.

Featured Friday with PWP: Butterflies are Free

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to PWP Feature Friday. Irit is here again and as always I try to make a different project and this time it's a home made gift wrapping.

I used a simple white wrapping paper paper, not even a cardstock and made my own stamped piece of patterned paper with PWP gorgeous butterfly stamps , mists and heat embossing.

Then I stamped, heat embossed and hand cut a couple of butterflies and added them over the box. Some chipboards and blings were also added over to get this fancy lovely gift box done.

Captured by love (and by birth): my dear twin girls

It was quite a while since I scrapped my dear girls together. So this is my joy and pride and my love and my everything: my twin girls having fun in between their college finals. (All over by now, but what a stress!)

I used AC Polka dot line of paper; A2Z scraplets amd Wycinanka chipboards; PWP stamps and clip image over the tag; a lot of embossing powders, Prima and other trims, FWAB blings; gold stickles and paint and some really vintage golden buttons.

I also made my hand writing journaling over the die cuts on the top- read it if you want, it's short and lovely.

Be happy and pretty in pink

My new scrappy pastel page made with Scrap 365 December sketch, a fancy self made tag, a lot of gorgeous Creative Embellishments goodies, some twine, buttons, paints, stamping, trims, pearls ... Name them- I used them and still it's not a messy page, but one with a lot of white, so much needed, space.

Here is my winter project made for this blog hop: vintage winter tag, full of joy of the Holidays.I made resist stamping over the larger tag and misted it with LSG mists.
The outer tag was dry embossed with Sizzix folder and misted with the same mists again.
The clip art PWP image was framed with gittered fairies frame and the word JOY was heat embossed too.
