Vintage love card

This card won the faux stitching challenge on Sunflowers and Dragonflies blog- thanks!!

This card in French vintage style was made for Sketches: creatively yours DT challenge and also for Practical scrappers Guest design team I was asked to do for 2 weeks and this week their challenge was " Embossing"
I used AC texured cardstock and did some sand paper distressing and brown inking.
Then I used inkes MM vintage finding ppaper, the next layer was die cut (Spellbinders) fabric with faux white pen stitches and the emcossed one was again MM same pack paper with inking.
The fleur de lis Cutllebug embosser is me new " toy" and MM paper too.
The fleur de lis brown chipboard was cut by me from free digi image on the web and was dressed with clear crackle Ranger paint and then I added some mists, paints etc- just to get this vintage old look.
The pearl brad was painted with alcohol ink too.

HAPPY DAY CARD

I got all this vintage items on my table from my DT work - so I decided to do some cards just for no case.. The first one is this Happy day card and I used some of the Raks I got for my challenges:
the pink base is from Getting creative with Ann ( thanks a lot), the flowers and leaves are fromCreatalicious , the stamp set is new one I got for a day or 2 only, and even MM pp is all brand new for me (Vintage findings pad)
So I did this card with Eat- sleep- stamp sketch and for some more challenges

KABOODLE DOODLES NOT A CARD CHALLENGE

I am in this " oriental" mood after visiting China for the first time in my life.
And I had to do " not a card" item for my Kaboodle doodles DT- but I had no time..
So I cheated a bit and just altered a bit these 2 never posted altered CD I've done some time ago in this oriental stile.
Don't worry- I have more than 1000 photos from this trip and I will sure scrap about 200 of them- so I need to be in this mood for ages. I also got lots of chinese items- coins, paper etc to scrap " in stile"
And as always it's good for some challenges:
3 DIFFERENT EMBELLS- for There she goes- I have eyelets, fibers and flowers on the second one

Just a quick summary for my last weeks..

I was really busy in 2-3 last weeks so I decided to do this summary for me to remember how busy I was.. (lol)
That's what I did let's say from the end of October till now:
Made 3 new DT - still only challenge blogs-
I am afraid to try the kits or manufacturers- but it will come.
The 3 are " Treasures from the scraps" ," Sketches: creatively yours" and SPCC
and I finished all my DT jobs for November on first 2 and on all other DTs I am in.
Than I am participating in some australian 6 rounds contest- with 45 girls at the first round we are now 11 at 5 th- and I have some creativity block with this item I need to do- and I have 1.5 more days to enter and it's ugly..
Try not to be with toilet paper rolls and clips in the list and to be creative (not flat mini book we all did with these rolls)
Than in STUDIO 101 it was some huge!!!! charity weekend crop- we donated some $$$ for clean water case and had 25 challenges to do in 3 days-
the winnings are random, but you get points for being first and I did 6 firsts of 25.
I didn't like this stress of doing lo in 30-40 minutes- so all of these " firsts"
I am not so pleased with, I really like about 5-6 los I did- all others will be redone(it needs polishing- stitching, rubons, doodlings, more embels- I didn't get time to do it and Sunday is a working day in ISRAEL, also I am at home Mondays ,but work on Sunday)
Updated 11/17: I am a runner up in this competition - actually I am always
" a runner up"- lol!! - but I still will get some prize.
And for my " luck"- it was 25 random drawings too - some girls got 3-4 prizes-
I didn't get any- but...
For overall # of los done and being first ( horray to time lag only- I was first when they were sleeping!!!)-I actually will get some RAK as a runner up.
Then I have this lo of mine to be published in Scrapbooking . com next issue and I had to do good article- products, how to..Another hard job- English is my third language after Russian and Hebrew.
I have another item coming as Scrap n' arts as they decided to make me their
Artist of the month in January issue- and it means 5!! new and great los to do and articles about , big tutorial by me (I NEED TO DO IT!! I NEED) and an interview and all of this till 12/1. I did these 5 los- they said it's fine so now for other things and fast.
But still I did some challenges and even won some- not randomly:
MY ANGELS lo won the Crafty sketches October challenge and was TOP 3 at
Sophisti- cat challenge for wings
FALLING IN LOVE WITH FALL won ETSY INSPIRED weekly challenge
BLACK &WHITE ME won (there are 3 winners with no places) October challenge on Black with 2 challenge blog
NY MY LOVE was one of 3 winners on " My favorite things" blog for favorite vacation place.
Fall mini album was one of 4 winners on Creatalicios October challenge
PURIM lo was in Top 5 at Hope stamps eternal challenge blog
I also won 1-2 randoms - one was for my FALL lo at Getting creative with ANN
- I won there once and the RAK was outstanding- thanks ANN!!
So as you can see I was really busy- I even dropped my folk dancing sessions to 2 a week- once it was 4!!

This week was good too!!

I was featuted 5 TIMES at Card of the week. com- Best in scrapbooking blogoshpere for my WISHES lo- Cell wins LO - B&W lo and Daddy's darling LO-and Natural made beauty lo and My royal nephews lo- THANKS!!
I was choosen as a winner of woodgrain rumble at Cottage studio challenge-
I think it's random- but Iam not sure- anyway it's good I checked it at all as it was long time ago- thanks!! And here is a RAK too- finally I'll get some goodies- thanks!
I was choosen as one on top 5 at HOPE STAMPS ETERNAL color inspiratioanal challenge (3 rd time in september) with my Fly lo
I won the EASY BREEZY KEWL color challenge with my ME AND MY BIG DUMMY LO - THANKS!!
And finally the best of all: I was asked to join "IF THE SHOE FITS.. SCRAP IT" design team - and gladly did it!
It's great challenge blog- very colorful too and the challenges are so inspirating for me (I hope for all of you)

This was best week ever!!

First of all I want to thank ALLANA again for my very first blog awards
Than I was featured 4 times on Card of the week- Best on scrapbooking blogosphere with my REMEMBERING ,MOM &ME , 5 YEARS LATER and this new SO ROMANTIC LO-S.
And I was a featured artist of the week with my CRY 4 US LO on Penny's challenge blog
And won some random (or not- I am not sure) prize on CAFE MOJO challenge blog with my blue&brown tag TIM HOLTZ style- the only one I am going to get some goodies for something
And I made one of the top 3 with my MOM &ME LO on La-la- land blog too.
And finally I won the stamping challenge on PRACTICAL SCRAPPERS blog with my LOVE LO (LOL- me stamping? I am a scrapper mostly and stamp only here and there when I have a mood- not too much)

I was thinking about 25.000 blog candy and here I see 10.000 less...
So blog candy will wait up to new 20.000 hits.
