CAS- ual Fridays new release - Day 2- Stencils

 Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to DAY 2 of our new and most gorgeous CAS- ual Fridays new release.
This release is Fri- dies and new stencils only. But you would see a lot of our stamps on our new projects and can pick some together with the new release products.
We will show you some techniques made with new dies and stencils and then you can comment and to have a great chance to win some goodies.

So today I am going to show you two of my new cards made with two of five new released stencils.
More of the stencils will be shown on the later release dates . You you can get a lot of our stencil inspiration by visiting all designers blogs today and later this week.
My first card was made with Tin Roof stencil as the card background.

I used texture paste for this resist technique and when it was dry I misted the card front with a mix of a few pink and gold mists.
 The main image and the sentiment were stamped and cut with electronic device.
I used white embossing powder over black cardstock and heat embossed the stamped images; the set used is Bushy Tailed.
Then those pieces were covered with gold mist.

Here is the new stencil used to make this card- Tin Roof:

And now to my second card for today- vintage style Mixed Media Hope card.

 For this card I used a new Modern Petals stencil and gold glitter paste. When dry a few mists were added to make this background as seen.

  The Hope die was cut several times and lined as a chipboard.
It was then covered with gold embossing powder and heat embossed to get this look.
