Happy Birthday card

This card was published in SNR April/May 2012 issue
Kind of minimalistic card, also I used a huge A2Z Scraplets chipboard, stamped over the card with The Rubber Cafe Grandma's Doilies stamps. heat embossed with Wow White embossing powder, border punched and made a ribbon bow. But it's still very clean and simple card after all.
I made a stamped sentiment and heat embossed it with Wow Suzy West Cotton Candy powder, using a sentiment from The Rubber Cafe sentiments set.

Inspired by stamping May release- Day 2

Hello, my dear stamping and crafting friends!
Today I am going to share my new projects made with Inspired by Stamping most gorgeous new stamp set.
Actually, this is a biggest release ever: 8 stamp sets and you also get those cute Homemade and Made with love small stamps.
I used 3 sets from all 8 for my spotlights today.
The first stamp set is Daisies set.
It has those great Daisies that can be stamped and hand cut, even a flower center (also I used buttons for the center on my projects) and then there are fantastic saying that fit both scrapbooking pages and cards.
So here is my page: My Yummy " am" grandson eating his very first watermelon and falling in love with it.
I used 3 sayings and 2 stamped on vellum Daisies, covered later with some Fairy Dust glitter. Stamping on vellum is very easy, but you need to heat emboss your images if you want them to out stand and for  easy cutting too.

My second project today was made with the best ever scrapbooking stamps set: Inspired Sentiments.
This is a big stamp set with dozens of  words and sentiments that are great for cards and mostly for scrapbooking. I made another scrapbooking page and this time I scrapped our little one about 2 weeks old , sleeping with his Daddy. I found a lot of great sentiments to use on this page in this set, such as Dream Big, Wake up smiling, Enjoy on another, Be happy and Be grateful for this day. Actually I could add more, but the page was just done with those 5
Believe me: the best scrapbooking sentiment set ever! Just run to buy it!

And my last project for today is a card. OK, I would better scrap, but stampers need to see cards too, so I made my  usual, vintage and shabby card, with lots of techniques used here
I stamped with  Amazing inspirations set. This is a gorgeous set with some poems and sayings, so perfect for Mixed Media, cards and scrapping all together. I used just one  saying here over Tim Holtz ticket and added a lot of IBS gorgeous flowers, all sold in the shop.

I enter this card to some challenges
Sentiment as only stamping for 4 crafty chicks
Flowers, pink and bling for Stamp spot

And now for a bonus: I made another lo with Amazing Inspirations set.
This is a vacation page and I just added a lot of journalling strips that fit this page a lot. And those are totally different stamps from the very same set.

We will always have Paris

This tag was published in SNR May 2012 issue
Some of my new addiction: Mixed Media projects, made for no reason. This is my very first Arch, made with this most gorgeous Paris Nights background The Rubber Cafe stamp. I don't  have any premade arches, so I used the tag, a circle cutter and then covered the hole with some Tim Holtz Tape to make it an arch.

The background was stamped with blue ink and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. Then I used Tim Holtz Distress stains to color the arch piece, using some water mist too.
An Eiffel Tower was then cut again  from another stamping and I hand cut it to layer the second layer with 3d foam glue.
The clock  from Vintage Treasures stamp set was stamped over another cardstock and cut into 2 non equal pieces, glued then on the arch.
Then I added some film clear tape, made my sentiment (you know, Casablanca movie one), added the felt Prima swirl with Scrap Happy Glue and changed the silver Paris letters to blue with Clear embossing ink and blue embossing powder. The small letters misted look was a mistake (I added some  3d glaze over the letters and used embossing powder before it was dey- but I actually like this look).

The premade words are from Authentique stickers, Letters are from MM old set.
Hope you like my Mixed Media play.

My very clean and simple page  made  in this clean and simple mood after crafting a lot of shabby projects for all my DT work and this is a very first lo made just for challenges. 12 squares are punched and embossed, I added some brads for the things my DN Tamar loves- music, paint and be in time.I also made some journaling cluster with Elle's studio products on the top. Some border punches were a must to use too and that's it. Simple and frugal fun.

Our Passover traditions with TRC and CJS

After a year of designing for Crafting Jewish Style, this is my very last project made with their products. I used this April sketch and added some Tree of Life stamps from The Rubber Cafe. Some were stamped over the background cardstock, some over the stickers and a dove was stamped over some vellum and heat embossed around.
And some close ups too
I also added a lot of Epiphany Crafts epoxies using round and square tools as they were a perfect fit to CJS stickers.(I just got a lot of new tools and refills for my last 6 month on EC  DT, so now, after my term is done, I still  have plenty of supplies to play with. )

iPhone generation retro mood

This page was published in Scrapbooking.com magazine July 2012 issue
This page won Cosmo Cricket banners challenge- thanks!
Hello, dear Wow friends! Irit is here again with my new scrapbooking page.
Sometimes a picture  says everything and all the page is just a scene around a  photo. This is exactly what happened with this lo: my daughters photo in the old London phone box was just a reminder about their addiction to the iPhones and all other gadgets.

So I used a retro papers from Cosmo Cricket, all heat embossed around with a Wow Ebony,Suzy West Cable Car Red and Suzy West  Cotton Candy embossing powders.

Then all 3 phones  from Call me stamp set were stamped, cut and heat embossed as my embellishments, again with Ebony and Cable Car Red

I inked the  chipboard frame and the  chipboard title (A2Z Scraplets) with Frosty White Cleasnap ink and then heat en\mbossed 3 layers with Bright White Wow powder.

And I made this big title as it says it all:
iPhone Generation Retro Mood
I decided to add some handmade embellishments from Handmade Halo shop- the glass rose pebble and the vintage cameo were just perfect to substitute the letter "O". Some more ribbons on my handmade tags and Halo wooden button were the last touches on this page.
I hope you like it. I think it's  and interesting page: connecting the old and the new, all in one lo
See you on our team post in just a few days.
