Happy Birthday with Honey Bee Stamps tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new card tutorial made for Honey Bee stamps blog.
This  technique I want to share is an easy one and the result is grungy and pretty gorgeous.
So here we go!
1. Use craft store piece of thin craft foam, decorative ruler (you don't really need it, you can just tear the thin foam piece) and make your own solid background stamp.
Use the positionable glue to add this " stamp" to your acrylic block.

2. Use any black ink you have in hand to ink this so called " stamp" and make the impression over white cardstock.
Don't try to make it perfect! The whole thing is about gaps that will be filled with other color.

3. Use any cards maker die to die cut the rectangle shape for your future card.

4. There are no step by step photos from this step and on, but the rest is easy to explain even without photos.
Use any brown distress ink to ink the whole piece over the black " stamped" image.
Stamp Honey Bee Stamps sentiment using Happy Everything  stamp set, white pigmented ink and white embossing powder.
One of the tips I always share is to use white ink with white powder for the better result when working over dark surface.
You can also see that I added a few more stamped images on two card corners using Honey Bee Stamps Country Blooms stamp set and the very same white ink and white embossing powder.
A few random drops of pink ink were added over the card and over the flowers to add some pretty color to this grungy card.
