Cardstock:
Light blue-American Crafts
Stamps: Dream Big set- Unity; 1''Rail Fence set A-Ann Butler for Kellycraft
Inks: VersaMark- Tsukineko;Clearsnap Aquamarine and Black
Embossing powders: Clear embossing, Ebony Black, Metallic Copper, Rich Gold, Brass
Dies- Cardmaker set- Cherry Lynn Designs
Other: white chipboard
How to make this card:
1. Make a basic card
with light blue cardstock. Die cut a
frame using two dies and white thin chipboard.
2. Cover the frame with VersaMark ink and few layers
of Ebony black embossing powders. Add some gold, brass and another metal powders over
the black embossed layer and heat it again. Stamp into the hot covered frame
with a strip from the Rail Fence set until you get the right look of the frame.
3. Stamp Butterflies and the sentiment with VersaMark
over the inside cut chipboard panel from the previous step and heat emboss with
black powder. Reheat and do it 3-4 times
more to get this embossed look of butterflies.
Ink the stamped images with a light coat of Aquamarine ink. Add a few drops
of reinker in the same color and heat emboss whatever is wet with a think layer
of clear powder.
4. Glue the inner panel and the outer frame over the
basic card.
