Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and I am very happy to continue to design for Die-Versions for my second year.
DV new release is totally different and totally delicious: new fantastic sets of dies and stamps make your crafty life easy and outstanding.
I love all combo sets in the shop and I am very glad to get two sets that I love even more:
Tweety Pie dies and Tweety Pie stamps and Sail Away dies and Sail away stamps.
So here is a first card I made with Tweety Pie set and it's just perfect for the soon to come Valentine.
I made the basic card with two matching glitter cardstock mattings and added this gold glitter panel as my stamped images base.
Gold is back and will be the most significant trend in the new 2015 year. So grab your gold glitters, pens, paints and embellishments and make this year your Golden one.
It was my very first time to work with matching dies and stamps and here are some tips for all of us who are new to this combos.
1. First die cut the images using a very thick cardstock. Do not disconnect the small dies in the set; keep them as is unless you want to loose some later...
2. Pick the images you want to stamp and the matching die cuts. Find the right way to stamp over the blank die cut piece as even if it seems to be symmetric, sometimes there is only one right way to stamp over the die cut piece.
That's it. Really easy and fun way to make lovely cards and crafts.
As you can see I used glitter glue to color my die cut and stamped images and added a few small rhinestones as bird's eyes and around the stamped sentiment.
You can follow the Die-Versions Blog, Facebook Page, and shop till you drop at the Die-Versions Website!!!
Hope you like my card and hope to see you here again soon with my next project.
