Halloween card with Inspired by Stamping

Very close to Halloween- this is my new card with  Inspired by Stamping Halloween sentiment and a lot of other scary items over it. It's almost clean and simple as much as a card with a lot of  items can be simple.
Love this gorgeous IBS sentiment! Love the final result too.

Scrapbook Saturday with PWP: BY THE SEA

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Scrapbooking Saturday!
Irit is here and this is my first scrapbooking page made with our gorgeous PWP stamps and sure not the last!
And if you love those stamps as much as I do, I just have a very special code for you  to use on your PWP order and to get 25% off your whole order.
So here is a code to use:

PWP*FAN4

So this is my so called " Clean and Simple" page: a lot of white space with light Mixed Media coverage and not too much patterned paper after all.

I used just a bit of Crate paper over this lo, just bits and pieces and then built this textures with blue and red mesh and a lot of PWP cut out from clip sheets.
I used my dear grandsons photo cut out (the background was not a good fit for the colors , so you can cut the image out and to arrange it as you wish over the background cluster.
I used some, not much, LYB paper, stickers and die cuts and mostly made then random background strips. I also added some old and forgotten plastic self adhesive mesh in two colors. Then I added three cut outs form PWP gorgeous  By the sea clip art sheets: Post card, Boats and even some shells, but those are  not much seen after the title added over.
And then stamped the rest of the background. And I stamped a lot.
You can see background stamping all over the centre of my page made with Punchinella  set and Texture set.
Then I added kind of waves using Journaling set scalloped border . More Texture set  spots  stamped down to the lower left corner. And some faux stitching in red with another stamp from Journaling  set.
Next I stamped some birds using Bird Panel set on the upper part. And even added a sun from Build a Scene set.
I also enter this to Creative embellishments Nautical challenge
Outdoor activity for Scrap the boys
Scrap-fx mood board: colors, birds, sun- everything from the board inspired me for this page.
Places we go- sea is sure this kind of a place- for Scrap our stash

Here is a closer look to the cluster center and our lovely clip art.

Some more close ups to this page with some words from Journaling stamp set.

Sweet Stamps challenge #135: Western

Hello our dear crafty friends and welcome to Sweet Stamps Western week!
This is my card made for this challenge and this time I used a Horse Silhouette  Oval stamp as an acrylic charm background. The charm is detachable and we can use it as a real charm for key  or bag chain.
I also decided to make some  recycling : so the cork and a wooden  piece are someones trash, but my treasure.
Some cuts made with  Sweet Cuts  Fancy Leaf die and   Sweet Cuts Elegant Leaves die cuts were added over the cork to add some dimension and  this tiny With Love sentiment was a MUST!
This card can be masculine , but yet can be feminine and is great for all horse/Western lovers!

Now it's your turn: enter our challenge and you can win!

Sweet Stamps monthly technical challenge :Paper piecing

Hello my dear crafty friends and this monthly Paper Piecing  challenge here on Sweet Stamps.
For this week, Anything goes with X- mas, I made this not traditional card with totally different colors, but I like the final result. I used Bo Bunny Paper, Tando creative double chipboard, a lot of ribbon and the most beautiful Mrs. Snow stamps from  Mr. and Mrs. Snow Duo  stamp  from double stamp set.
I made some paper piecing (stamp over patterned paper and cut pieces, then glue them over your stamped image) and added some coloring with Faber Castell  Yellow set of Pitt Pens  with a bit of Red and Green from 2 other sets. The Best Wishes sentiment was stamped over an oval die cut using CLD Little Stackers Nested Ovals. Over the cut image I added randomly some  Fantasy White EP

We invite  you to paly with our challenge and to win some goodies too!

Duet lo

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this time with a scrapbooking page. I love to scrap my dear grandson's photos, but with my shabby style it always seams to become a vintage kind of a page. And this time it was not different.
This is quite a monochromatic page, red and black and black and red , full of J. Bowlin products. I even used the old and forgotten rub- on alphabet all over the background.

My page is full of all kinds of embellishments, but FWAB  products are the most shiny and visible ones here and again, all in red and black.
So the photo border was matted with Jasmine Laser Flourish as is (not a single cut was made here).

Then I added this gorgeous red Chloe Pearl Flourish piece on the top of the page

And more close ups to Wycinanka gorgeous chipboard piece I used here: oval frame, film strip,  arrows and flowers in circles  and a title.

Thinking of you with fabric and Inspired by Stamping

Sometimes we need some general cards and this card is a perfect example of  such a kind: Thinking of you Inspired by Stamping general sentiment and some most general burlap flowers made is full of texture and still almost clean and simple.

Sweet Stamps challenge # 134: ATC WEEK

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Sweet Stamps ATC CHALLENGE WEEK.
And if for any reason you don't know what ATC is, those are small art   pieces that are called Artistic Trading Cards and usually are made for swaps. Anyway, the regular ATC  is usually vertical   be artistic and not scrappy style and very much flat as they are sent in envelopes for swaps. Here and there you see those shabby style " fat " ATC, but it's not  what they were primary should be.

So my card is a typical ATC: flat, regular sized, vertical small art piece; made with 2 Sweet Stamps silhouette stamps:  Robin Bird Silhouette  and Queen Ann's Wildflowers Silhouette. The Flowers stamp was stamped  several times around the cardstock as a border and then I added the Bird in the empty space on the card.  I used permanent black ink, but forgot that my ATC  blank card was  semi gloss, so I had to add some clear embossing powder to  make it permanent as I wanted to use mists over this piece. To make it a bit dimensional I used some sparkle dimensional clear paint (Art Anthology) and then added a few small chipboard pieces form Wycenanka (5 smallest possible butterflies and a piece of  net), all misted after they were glued over the piece.
And now  it's your turn! Grab some stamps, some paints and some small embellishments and enter our ATC challenge to win great prize!

Mixed Media Monday with PWP: Every little thing...

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today is my Mixed Media day on PWP blog and I made a " true" Mixed Media project: with  more mediums than paper and some stamping too.

First I used an old post card as my base. Then I stamped a couple Texture  images over the kraft leftover cardstock with Copper heat embossing (OK, after all possible paints and medium it's hardly seen, but the texture on the left upper corner.
Then I added a bunch of Tando Creative chipboards in steampunk style, both cogs and never used letters. Next all piece was heavily painted with Copper acrylic paint and when it was still wet covered with Turquoise mist for this rusty look.

Then I added some micro beads, glass beads and even red embossing powder and heat embossed all the piece. As the paint was still wet it made this lovely and unique textured look.
More Orange misting was added above the wet piece and them I finally let it dry.
Now the book plate was made with black powder heat embossing and copper paint over it. The stamped in black permanent ink sentiment from Bird Melange  set was misted  too.

And now for a few stamped and hand cut birds from Bird Melange set and an Owl from Owl Panel set:
2 stamp sets were used, stamped with clear embossing powder, heat embossed in black and misted with the same Turquoise mist. All together it made a lovely Mixed Media journal page/wall deco/ anything you want it to be.

You can try this technique of  making your own " add anything possible" backgrounds and it's even better if you use our gorgeous PWP stamps!

Mixed Media altered key chain, made with PWP  cut out image from the clip art sheet, stamping, misting, glazing, heat embossing and finally making this jewelry piece.

I used Tando Creative chipboard shapes, 4 of them and just one metal flower. All chipboards were covered with Copper Embossing powders and a bit of blue powder over it.
The swirl flower was stamped with one of PWP Texture stamps inside and embossed with copper powder, also not much is seen after all.
The drop pennant was stamped with a Feather stamp from  Little Birds  cling stamp set and with leaves branch from the same set. Then I added a cut out from Angel  clip art sheet and covered it with Glossy Accents.

The metal flower was embosses with a mix of powders for this vintage look.
The Lamp was stamped with Owl  on a branch , misted and covered with more Glossy Accents.
