Sweet Stamps Monthly challenge: Chalkboard technique

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome for Sweet Stamps monthly technical challenge and this time we challenge you to try CHALKBOARD TECHNIQUE.
There are a lot of possible ways to  make this chalkboard look on the web; I picked the heat embossing technique as I love to use my embossing powders.
So I made a tag this time, using  Kaisercraft wooden tag as my base.

I used black cardstock to stamp with white pigmented ink and the most gorgeous Queen's Ann Wildflowers stamp and then heat embossed the stamped image with Fine Detail  White EP. (YES, white ink and white powder is the best combination for this technique). Then I " messed around" with my white inked fingers over the cardstock for the mute slight white look.
As a next step I used Pearl Ex pigments in a few pastel colors and added them over the stamped embossed flowers.

Some Tim Holtz word stickers made my statement and I added a few pearls over the flowers for some dimension.
A few ribbon and a pearl pin were the final  touch of this tag.
And now it's your turn: play with our challenge and you can win some lovely goodies!

Awesome tag, I love how you used the excess powder to rub into the card to give it a distressed look, love the added pearls and ribbons.
