Sweet Stamps Challenge#119: Flowers

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our last May Sweet Stamps challenge:
Flowers
I decided to make an altered wooden book shaped box as my project for this challenge.

Sure I have stamped flowers on this box, but it's totally flat as I want to use it and those bulky  lids are problematic for use.
So I covered the bare wood with Black gesso ( you don't want to see my fingers after this procedure... LOL) and let it dry for a few hours.
In the meantime I stamped Vertical  ROSES stamp over Kraft cardstock with French Roast Shades ink spot and inked the edges of this piece.

Then I stamped the same stamp again over white cardstock and painted just 3 roses over the second piece. I decided to use Faber Castell Pit Artist pens  in Reds, Greens  and Yellows  and I am really pleased with a result (no blending tools needed , just cover the darker color with lighter and then with even lighter one for the great look as this is India permanent ink  and can be added one layer over another).

The whole box was covered with a piece of Glitz paper layers with Rose over it and a few Kaisercraft die cuts. I glued the stamped piece and added FOR YOU  title made with foam letters.
Now it's your turn: play with our Flowers challenge and you can win great prize!
I enter this project to Moxie Fab gift challenge

Big dream in vintage style -IBS

A very simple card made with Kaisercraft goodies, Glitz card and Inspired by Stamping  stamped title. The embellishments were made over a misted chipboard and all flowers and metals got mists  and painted with shimmery  paints.
I enter it to Bling challenge  in Panpastel blog.: I used pearls and pealed paints over metal charms.
 And some more challenges too
Anything goes for 613 Avenue
Anything goes for Creative Inspirations Paint- I used their shimmery paints over metals too
Flowers/rpses for Hobbycutz
Use Kraft for  Little bit Krafty
 ABC- 3 OR MORE embellishments
 Anything goes for Forever friends

Life is beautiful with WOW! powders

This altered project was just a wooden base with a hole that I found at home, a 10 cent kids plastic magnifing glass and a fantastic A2Z Scraplets title (it's the little things). From all of those I made  this lovely altered art piece, but it couldn't  be done withou those gorgeous WOW! Embossing Powders I used over it.

The wooden base was covered with Glitz paper layers . The title was inked, clear embossed with Clear Regular powder , layer after layer to make it glossy and glass look and then I made a random stamping over it.

Wow embossing Copper powder was  the main coverage of the plastic glass. Easy to make : just add some Watermark embossing ink randomly over it , spread the powder and heat it. Nothing happens to plastic, believe me.  Then I added some Tim Holtz Picket fence  crackled paint  over my  embossed Copper powder and Blue embossing powder over it while the paint was still  wet.

The 7 Gypsies silver spoon was colored into the copper color with alcohol inks and I added this Tim Holtz sticker to say that small things Create Life.

The background wings were molded and casted with clear Ice Resim and I added Blue glitter inside the resin casting. The white chipboards from Tando Creative were painted and glittered with Clear glitter  to make the front wings, the bird was also painted  white and heat embossed with White embossing powder , then  painted over it with some blue paint, as well as Prima pink floweer brach. I covered the square base with woodgrain washi tape  and  I added this Glitz Life is Beautiful sticker on the front.
As my final touch the brass owl from Handmade Halo was added for the life wisdom and I also connected a 7 Gypsies charm to the spoon. To keep this title in the right position I used 3 kitchen tooth picks and a lot of hot glue.
I enter this to Moxie Fab gift challenge, as this is a great altered gift after all

All abou time wall deco is in print (for 6 month already...)

I finally got my print issue of Create Vintage January 2013  with my All about time project in it.
I just loive the photo and the styling of this great magazine a lot!
Thanks for a great gift too!
And the second page too

Imagine mini album

My dear grandson Omer  made those studio photos  (Limor Aharon was a  photographer) and they were so great for small vintage style mini album with a lot of stamping. I used a few of my new just delivered stamps from 100 Proof Press, some of them on each  second page and made stickers titles for each one.
So here is a cover: Old Script and Child Looking up stamps. White  ink is Clearsnap Frosty White; black is Ranger Archival  ink and I used it all over this mini album. All stamped images were misted with a mix of Ranger mists and edges were heat embossed with Metallic Copper WOW! Embossing powder.
Nest pages- photo and a few more stamps for this Discover page: Boy Daydreaming, A flock of Crows,   Hot Air balloon, Spring Bouquet. And again- mix of RANGER mists was sprayed over the piece.
Nest couple of pages with Explore: same Old script and Flower girls  stamps
And last couple for Dream: same Old script and Butterfly  boy

I still have 5 more blank page on the back and more photos to add, so to be continued...

Celebrate childhood: GJS Arrow album

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to show you my first project made as Genuinely Jane Studios DT member (I made a couple, but it was for product swap with my other teams as I didn't get my DT goodies till now).
So my  wooden mini album today is an Arrow one and I love this shape a lot: so trendy, so easy to cut and to cover with paper, so  easy to make it " any occasion" album.
I made this  mini album with my dear grandson's studio photos and the banners, colors and a cupcake in his hands were  my main inspiration for colors, patterns and embellishments of this mini.

I used Bo Bunny papers to cover all wooden pages; inked around and used stencils with white gesso  on every front page.
Here is my cover and I tried to keep it as flat as possible and with no success after all. I used this Art stencil from CWS over this cover, added a chipboard banner from Tando Creative covered with washi tapes and some K&Co due cuts.  My title was covered with glitter embossing powder and I added some more small home die cuts and blings.

The back sides of all pages are mostly photos and some washi tapes around. Now you can see the photo colors and banners and cupcake on the photo.

My second page front was stencilled with Artistcellar Seven Jewels stencil with  gesso and misted with Dylusions Lemon Zest  mist. Then I added those chipboard Tando cupcakes covered with Liquid Applique  brown paint and Art Anthology Sorbet Frost paint.A bit of chunky glitter and one red Dew Drop as a cherry were great finish for those cupcakes . The sticker sentiment is from Fancy Pants and is for " sweet" cupcake or other memories.

The second photo is very similar to the first.

My third front page is for " perfect": my grandson is such a perfect little guy.
Here I used CWS Numbers stencil and Calipso Teal Dylusions mist over a dark paper with one single BB 3d sticker as a title of the page.

Another photo was glued on the back.

The last front page: another Artistcellar stencil Flower of Life with Dylusions   Bubblegum pink mist and a chipboard Happy word covered with blue glitter.

So this was my lovely  Arrow mini album.
And if you want to make a very similar one, just go to GJS shop and pick your favorite shape. So easy, so fancy, so much fun to make one.
And for one more day there is 35% sale in the shop!  You need to see to believe as  those prices are  the best for all kinds of mediums, mists, inks ,GJS most gorgeous wooden mini albums and much much more!
And now for some web challenges I enter this project to:

Sweet Stamps challenge #118: Anything goes

Hello dear crafty friends! Today is our Anything goes challenge with Sweet Stamps and we are going to show you Sweet Stamps new DIES!
We have 20!! new dies in  this month bundle and you can buy them all with 25% discount as the whole release or just whatever dies you like.
YES, we have our own dies in Sweet Stamps shop!

So as most of those dies are nature and flowers, I made this  flowers card with my favorite color combo: brown, pink and green.

I used American Crafts cardstock as my base and this was my first time to use Cheery Lynn Card makers Rectangle Dies A2  too  and I am very glad I have them finally in my stash.
Then I used 10  different  new dies; Betty's Bloom SweetCuts, Mini Medallion, Pretty Petals,Mini Flower (2 dies),Flutterby #2 (2 dies), Fancy Leaf and 2 of 3 dies from Flower Trio.    Some were cut from Core' dinations Brownie cardstock and some from green leftovers of DCWV. Then I die cut a rectangle from double sided glue sheet,  arranged all my die cuts and added Sweet Stamps Micro Fine Gloden Glitz glitter over the glue. Bingo! It's so delicate and light glittery and so much add on to the plain cardstock I used.
Same glitter was added over the Butterfly  wings (Prima cardstock leftover, really a small piece that had the right colors).
2 more small dies cut flowers were added over my title strip on the bottom of my card and I also added some glitter over Glossy Accents.
I stamped HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY sentiment with Sweet Stamps Brownie Shades ink  spot and added a piece of thin trim between the parts of my card.
My last touch was faux white pen stitching with Uniball and a lot of pearls and rhinestones added over my die cut flowers.

Now it's your turn. Play with our Anything goes challenge with any stamps or products and you can win a nice prize!

My beautiful Mom: she still is...

Today is my dear MOM'S Birthday and she is 79, but still a very clever, elegant young lady. So Happy Birthday dear Mom! Here is my web present to you!
This is my new MM page made with my mom old photo.I made a part of it on the workshop, but I can't do it the same way, so I added much more, like a title, more embellishments, more washi tape, metal charm etc. and made it my own after all.

Then I decided that I need a title (there was no one ) and some more things to add, so I added my Handmade Halo  resin frame, bird cage charm,  Beaded trim and a chipboard Beautiful title .

Now, with my title, I like this page more.
I enter this to Get Creative lots of flowers

For you box

My new altered oval box  made with 100 Proof Press most gorgeous Child Looking up stamp as a focal point of this project.

I covered it with Teresa Collins paper, added a die cut with CLD die oval frame, also it's not much seen after all. Then I added a die cut flowers and butterflies piece from Die Versions and covered it all with Glossy Accents  (RANGER)
The next level  of embellishments is this 100 Proof Press  Child Looking UP stamp, stamped  with white Frosty White Clearsnap ink over black cardstock and hear embossed with  Bright white regular embossing powder (WOW! Embossing Powders). Then I changed color on this Flourishes with Bling piece as bright pink was not a right  color for this project(Ranger alcohol ink) and glued it over the first layers.
I heat embossed Tando Creative book plate with  a mix of embossing powders and  heat embossed a title too and glued them over the box.
A few Tando leaves and flowers were heat embossed and added over the plate and  embellished with pearls and stones.
The base of the box was covered with Maya Road zipper trim and some May Arts ribbon and Love my Tapes adhesive lace.

There will be a mini album in this box made with a lot  more 100 Proof Press stamps, but I will do a separate post for the inside mini photos just in a few days.

Sweet Stamps monthly challenge: Flip flop card

Hello my dear stamping friends! Our monthly Sweet Stamps challenge is to make a Flip Flop  card and I decided to make my own version of this card.
So here we go:
Circled Flip Flop  card
Step 1: Cut a piece of a basic cardstock into 5.75*6.25 ''
Step 2: Make pencil lines on the back of your card as shown: the first one is 2.75'' from the edge and the second is 4.25'' from the edge; each one should be 1.25'' long.
Then add same lines on the bottom part of your card, but make them 1.75'' long. Score all 4 lines and don't fold yet.
Step 3: Using any possible circle cutter cut the circle on the card front, but don't cut the upper and bottom piece in between scored lines. Now your basic card is done.
Step 4: Cut 2 circles a bit smaller then your partial main circle used any solid cardstock you want. I used Kraft one. Stamp your Butterfly Bookmark  stamp  on one of the circles, as this is a long vertical stamp make it partially on both circle sides. Use clear embossing ink and Red embossing powder and heat emboss it. Glue the stamped circle in the middle.

Cut LOVE YOU die cut using Die Versions Everyday Complements  die from Kraft cardstock and glue it on the side, as this side will be seen  when your card is folded.
Step 5: Cover the card with  MME 6*6'' pad patterned paper as shown. Die cut die  border with Cherry Lynn Border Carnivale  die and glue it on the side.  Tie a green  ribbon as shown.
Cut Tropical Flourish  from CLD die and add it over the ribbon. Paint it with Olive Green,Citrus and Bright Yellow Creative Inspirations Paints.
Die cut a lot of flowers with Build a Flower #1  die, arrange 3 flowers using brads and glue them over the leaves. Paint them with Garnet CIP .
Step 6: Fold the left scored line back (mountain fold). Then fold the right scored line to the front. Now you can see Love you sentiment on the front.

Now open the card and you can see the whole butterflies  stamped image.

Enjoy your project!
Now it's your turn! Come and play with Sweet Stamps monthly challenge: make swing card and enter it to our challenge to win!

Another pin wheel card

My card made with Moxie Fab inspiration this week: not segments, but all possible colors and a circle in the middle.
I made it with Inspired by Stamping stamps and Bo Bunny dotted paper plus some washi tape pieces. Simple to make and even kind of a useful project as all pins can be used later for sewing or other craft projects.
I already made a very similar card with, but this was a yellow one and I as I have a lot of pin wheels, this is a red cousin of the first one.

And this is Moxie Fab inspiration

Sweet Stamp Flowers challenge #117: Watch me grow lo

Hello my dear crafty friends!
I am here again with Spring Sweet Stamps challenge and this time I decided to make a scrapbooking page.
Most of scrapbookers are not stampers, also a lot of stampers  scrap. So for those who just scrap and afraid of stamping over their pages, here is a " light" example of  using stamps and not doing it just as backgrounds and Mixed Media stamping all over the page.
I scrapped my dear grandson's studio photos and was so much Spring feelings around, that I thought it's just perfect for our Spring challenge.

All I did was using Echo park papers and stickers and then to add some stamped embellishments on both corners. The lower  right corner was embellished with my most favorite Rose and Leave stamp. This time I used a few of Creative Inspiration Paint colors and then added Glossy Accents all over my colored roses. All of them are hand cut and glued with 3d foam glue.
I used a great mix of paints here such as Burnt Clay,Garnet, Rose Quartz, Sunshine, Evergreen and Citrus

Then I stamped Framed Daisies over Kraft cardstock, colored it with some more paints and added journaling sticker inside. This is a kind of " DIY journaling card and can be made from different papers and with different colors.
Also not stamping, but good example of bare chipboard coverage with ink and clear embossing powders. Then I added some permanent markers doodling over  my embossed glossy surface to get this unique look for the chipboard.

I really hope that I inspired you with my scrap+stamp layout and now it's your turn:
enter our  Sweet Stamps Spring challenge and you can win some fantastic stamps. See you around!
