Hello Spring altered box

This project was  spotlighted in Prima blog
Spring is here and all those Spring web challenges too- so I decided to make one for all of them and mostly to use it as my " junk" box for all small things left on my crafting table.
And now about my project.
As some of you may know, I am a kind of " green" artist, I love to recycle, up cycle , reuse and to alter, and this project is just this kind. I made my Hello Spring altered box from old Prima journaling cards box and kept is as a pure Prima project.

I used this box " as is", covered with Prima stitched paper from bottom to top- one piece. On the top I added this lace using double sided glue tape and then inked it all around with pink Colorbox ink. I know some of the lace is inked too, but I wanted it this way as this pure white was too " bridal" one for this project.

Then I added some Prima chipboards and stickers, from 4-5 collections actually, I like to mix and match products from different collections as far as it fits.
2 bird cages were hand cut from canvas page and then I clustered all possible spring flowers and added a lot of crystals too.

At the end I tied a blue ribbon all around the box, made a bow and added a tile. Here is the side view of this lovely project.
It's just a great gift box or even a box for your leftovers- buttons, flowers  etc to keep as this ribbon is just a fiction, you can open the box  and it stays on its place.
And one final look on this project

Hope you like this project!
