Like an old vine- tutorial

I made this vine bottle cover once about 10 weeks ago for Cheery Lynn designs Dimensional Leaves sets release- but it was a common post, not my personal one.
Since then I got a lot of comments in my own blog asking for a tutorial- and as the original project was sent to CHA show and it not coming back- I decided to make another similar, but not the same one, and this time with a full tutorial of how to make this project and to share it with Fave Crafts site

Supply list
Patterned paper: Bo Bunny
Dies : Cheery Lynn Designs
Letter stickers :Heidi Swapp, MLS
Glitter glue: Ranger
Other:Kraft paper, wire
Transparent packging: Tim Holtz for Advantus
This is mostly about recycling and die cutting very easy project, and the only thing that takes time here is this glitter glue drying time.. LOL...
So here we begin:
1. Use the acetate box for your recycling, cut the upper and lower lids as shown on a final photo of the project.
2.Gather your supplies: a piece of a double sided paper - I used Bo Bunny, your dies from Cheery Lynn Designs , Glues, some distress inks from Ranger and some glitter Ranger glue.
Cut the  rectangle about    5.5* 6  '' size from the patterned paper and then die cut the rectangle about 1/8'' less from both sides and die cut it  with your Cheery Lynn Designs XL Scalloped Coved Rectangle die from the set- I used the  3 rd large  die size here.
Cut another rectangle about    2*3.5 ''size and then die cut with the same die set again, using your  smallest die from the set.

3.Now adhere the die cut pieces over the rectangles , round the rectangles corners if you wish before.

4.  Adhere  both glued labels over the acetate box as shown

5. Die cut lots and lots of dimensional leaves from both of small leaves sets from Cheery Lynn Designs dies - use the same green paper and another green papers leftovers, emboss the leaves with the same die using your embossing pads.
Ink the leaves with distress inks , crimple them a bit and adhere over the cover on the right side.

6. As a last step make some grapes using your glitter glues and some wire swirls and glue the swirls over a finished project.
Die cut a bubble label using your Cheery Lynn Designs Bubble expression # 3 set
Add some pearls on the corners- if you like them..
Glue this two step  buuble die cuts one over another, add some letters sentiment over the small coved and a bubbled label-as shown , adhere the bubble spot on your project and enjoy it!

Happy long day

This new wedding page is not so usual one :I decided to scrap the moment of rest, and cropped the photo just to show you the hands and legs of the young couple
So to make it more fancy I used some of Cheery Lynn Designs fabulous dies and here is a result
The huge  Oriental Butterfly Doily was hand cut around the die for the basic shape and then die cut from another paper and embellished with some blings
All circles were cut with Small Nesting Stackers Circles and I trimmed my photo by hand around the big stackers circle- as the only set I have is inverted scallops- but you still can use it from the back side as a template too. I also embellished some of the small circles, distressed them and inked a bit
4 strips on the right side were cut with Scalloped diamonds border die and layered one over another
So go to our shop and put some of those great dies into your cart

Book of love

This project  was published in June 2011 issue if SNR magazine
My very first time to alter a real book- real- real non used one
The problem of cutting the inside pages:it takes time and I don't have too much of it- but I did it
I called it a BOOK OF LOVE and it can keep the rechangable photos inside- it just can stand inside the 3d cut elements
The second inside page is just a fancy Prima things with some Pink Paislee trandsparency
The cover was made with pancy papers and painted, embossed and die cut grungeboard that looks like
a real leather
I am not sure I will any more of those- too costy if you use whatever I used here- pearls, flowers, lace, but it's great do craft one
I entered it to a few challenges too
Frosted designs - recycling
Simon says stamp and show- world- mine is LOVE

Congrats card

This card  was published in SNR April 2011 issue
This card was a bit of work:the stripes were made with tacky glue tape and microbeads, the outer layer was die cut with Cheery Lynn Designs stitching plate and than hand stitched and ever the sentiment was made with altered AC letters- inked and pierced.
Lot of work- but I love the result:clean and simple look of not so simple card. And I need to use my micro beads- I bought the whole MS set and have some oldies too- so ...

Imagine you are here too- but we are not..

This page was published in SNR May 2011 issue
After a few weeks of altered projects, mini albums and cards I am back with a scrapbooking new page
made with lots of Cheery Lynn Designs fantastic die sets

This is a vacation bright and primary colors page and here are some  close- ups of the clusters with
Cheey Lynn Designs Dies

This huge round embellishment was made with this gorgeous Italian Flourish Doily, than I just added some hand cut paper and 2 really recycled items

On this right corner of the page I used Pretty Petal 4''*4'' die and Pretty petal 2''*3'' die, Index card- twice for my hand writing journaling, Arrow 1 set, one layered and one just a lower arrow for some more journaling, and the Scalloped Diamond Border die - cut twice, can be seen here too
I also used 4 of 6 dies from Little stackers Nesting Dies Circles for all my circles over this page
So if you want to build your own embellishments, as I did, all you need are a few sets of Cheery Lynn Designs best ever dies
SO what are you waiting for? The on- line shop is just here

Mom of the tribe

This page was published in SNR April 2011 issue
This page was done to cherish my DMIL Flora, who is a great 84 years old lady and in a pretty bad shape now..
She still is a chain connecting the whole family, very much loved by everyone..
So this page was made in my very common vintage style, with clustering, recycling (the beads around the page), using Donna Salazar vintage papers, with some embellishments from here and there and everywhere..

Omer:my first keepsakes box

This keepsakes box, done with Best Creations Safari Boy line was done for my grandson's Omer first things: his first hat- too small now, his hospital papers,  first sock, first everything that my DDIL decided to keep.
 Some challenges:
Box- Sugar sweet sweet treats

5 @Spring lo

This page will be published in SNR April 2011 issue
This page was born in tears and sweat- just try to think about punching 40 or something squares and than glue them on a crossword page and then try to use all 5  sences I wanted to be on it and to build a page around it with cutting your photos to fit the space..
Never again.. Also I am pretty sure this was not done yet my way..
So this page is for spring-  the best ever season we want to smell, taste, hear, touch and see..
And 3 new packs of Thickers were also used for this page.. Too-too much for one " no peeps" page.
And as it was too busy inside, I decided to drop an idea to add some birds, butterflies or other flying objects I thought to add..

Queen of Trave-land lo

This page will be published in SNR April 2011 issue
Another new and funny page with my DD Thailand photo- she is a travel queen; so the title made her a Queen of her own country-Trave-land.Most of the products are from Jellibean Soup , I used 2 fonts of stickers one over another for dimension, made my own flowers, used lots of border punches, painted some corregate letters and a corner, inked the edges, hand stitched and made an umbrella medal for my  travel girl.
