Stamping on vellum with Magenta

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Magenta post.

Today I am going to share a card made with stamped and heat embossed vellum and then colored with water color markers.

It's an easy technique and it gives you a way to curl the corners of the stamped card front in a nice and unique way.

 First I stamped the large Magenta stamp on  clear vellum with pigmented ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
Then I used Zig markers to color the stamped flowers.
Pink ink was added over the vellum edges and I curled the corners as shown.
The middle layer was made with Magenta stencil and white crackle paste and it's hardly seen after all, but it's still there for the depth and the interest.
The sentiment was stamped over pink (as background) cardstock with the same ink and heat embossed.

Amazing you : SNS March release card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first  Sprinkle n' Sparkle March post.

Irit is here  today and I am going to share a lovely oriental card made with one of the new released stamps and quite a lot of SNS  embossing powders.

First let me say that our new release is just gorgeous and in my personal opinion this Paisley Elephant stamp is the " Must have" one. It's pretty large and detailed and easy to cut after stamping; it's the stamp that you can color with all possible markers, but you also can mist in a second like I did in my tutorial.

 Step by step tutorial:

1. Cut your Papericious (or other) cardstock as shown to fit the top and the bottom of the card.

2.Stamp the Paisley Elephant  over white cardstock with pigmented black ink and heat emboss with Black detail embossing powder.

3.Hand cut the stamped image and mist it with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist. Let the image be totally dry.

4.Stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set and color it with the same mist using baby wipe. Arrange the sentiment as shown.

5.Make your  cardstock stencil with a die cut card panel  for one time use. Cover the card base with this stencil and embossing paste. 

 6.Sprinkle By  the Lake embossing powder over the wet embossing paste and heat emboss it. Don't try to make it perfect mas this is a Mixed Media background and it's never perfect.

Mist the heat embossed background with TA blue mist  and let it dry.

 7.Glue the cardstock strips from the previous step as shown.

8.Glue the elephant image and sentiment and some Indian embellishments over the card.

 Your card is done! Enjoy it!

Life Life altered notebook

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today and I welcome you all to my altered notebook post made with a crafty video tutorial.
Today I am going to share a project made with new, just released Double Dot Damask collection and eclipse stamping and die cutting technique.
Eclipse card are very trendy and all you need are good  large stamps and pretty large  letter dies.
I need to say that BoBunny All Caps dies are good, but a bit small for this technique and I pray for larger dies some day. But as it's mostly technique tutorial post and I think that it explains the technique, so I used whatever I have and hope that you like the tutorial after all.

 This simple school notebook was covered with  Wild Berry and Licorice Damask and embellished with a card sized front made with the same Damask cardstocks with  Dusty Rose Damask cardstock as the stamping base.
And yes, you can stamp over patterned cardstock if it's pale one.
So the flowers from Pocket Full of Posies set was stamped on both corners with black pigmented ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then the stamped images were colored with water color markers.
Then and then only the Love Life words were die cut  over the stamped front and then arranged over the cut slots with 3d foam glue. And this is all. A few pearls were added to embellish the front and a few Damask layers were glued one over another for the interest.

Love life altered wooden box

Cake slice boxes with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new BoBunny post.
Irit is here today with a cute and easy to make BoBunny project.
This month we are going to share some projects made with BoBunny basic products, such as Double Dot cardstock, flowers, jewels, stamps, stencils, dies and mediums.
So my second project is this easy to make and totally  lovely gift boxes in a cake slice shape and it was made with all possible BoBunny basics.
I used a non branded die to make the basic shape, but you can find a lot of web tutorials with the cutting instructions and to use them.

I made two " cakes" in the very same colors, but one was embellished in a shabby style and the other in a kind of a Steampunk style.

Let me show you the shabby box first.
This box was made with  two pieces of Double Dot cardstock  and then embellished with hand cut cardstock triangles first.
Then the die cut doily was added  with one large BoBunny flower, one chipboard heart and a stamped piece.
The stamping was made with black ink and heat embossed with clear powder and then 2 colors of BoBunny Pearlescents were added on the top.

 And this is how this box looks from the side: some scalloped strip and some lace were added for the cake layers and then I added generous layer of Pearlescent paint on box sides of the box.

And this is how the masculine box looks from the top. This time I used the same cardstock, but in reverse way- brown box and light sides and triangle.
It was embellished with a piece of old lace and metal trinket and then a key and a key hole were die cut with BoBunny dies several times and arranged in a kind of a chipboard looking pieces.
I used embossing powders and waxes to add this copper colors.

 And this is the same box from the side and it really looks like a piece of cake.

So here are both boxes together again and they look very pretty together.

Eclipse card with Magenta

Hello my dear craty friends and welcome to my new Magenta post.
This time I made an eclipse card with one large stamp that was stamped on both card corners and added the die cut word in the middle of stamped front.
This is all about eclipse trendy technique after all.

 I worked with white water color cardstock as the base for stamping.
Magenta large stamp was stamped with black pigmented ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Then the stamped images were colored with water color markers and then and only then I die cut the large MFT die Hugs in the middle of card front.

The die cut letters were glued over the die cut slots with 3d foam glue and then  Magenta stencil dots were added with pink water colors over the left white spaces.
So actaully this is just two layers card, but looks much more than just two layers.
