Inspire canvas

When I have a couple of spare hours I try to make one project for a few web challenges. So this canvas is this project and I really like the outcome.
I hope you like it too.
I used tons of mediums, paints, waxes, metal pieces, micro beads and made my own Foamiran flowers using dies and paints. The saying was made with 7 dots stickers and the chipboards are from different companies, but mostly from Creative Embellishments.

This canvas was made for a few web challenges:
It's a frame up- for Simon Says Monday challenge
Mixed Media World- Anything goes with watercolors (the flowers were watercolored with mists).
7 Dots- My favorite things- Mixed media dark kind is my favorite thing, together with inspirational words and hand made flowers.I used their cardstock from Writer's block collection as my background, but then it's not seen under all MM layers, but the stickers are sure seen.

Use a quote for Vintage Journey- I made my own quote with stickers

Scrap and Crafts- Handmade flowers and I made them from Foamiran (thanks to this shop I could order this great product to Israel a few weeks ago and finally to use it).
Creative embellishments- I used the huge heart with a flourish on this piece- inspiration from CE  inspirational photo and I used quite a few CE products on this piece.

Made with love notebook cover with Scrapberry's

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first May Scrapberry's post.
Irit is here and I am going to share a pure Mixed Media project made with our gorgeous Scrapberry's products.
This is an altered  planner I made over the cheap office planner.
I tried to keep the front as flat as possible with Mixed Media work, but after all it's full of texture and not flat at all.

The cover was made with linen fabric and painted with gild paint around the edges.
I added pieces of cardstock over the cover and made a bit of texture with stencils.
The resin pieces are not Scrapberry's, but my own resin casts made with different molds.
I used DecoArt paints and mediums for this piece to make it easy to copy as those products can be found in each and every craft shop.
As you can see here the paper cuts are painted with gold and reddish paints and arranged over the frames with vintage paper cuts inside.

Here is another look on the cover cluster:

I hope that you liked my altered piece of art and you would try to make something similar with Scrapberry's products.

Papericious inspiration with Femina pack

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit from Irit Shalom designs is here today with my first May Papericious inspiration.
Today I am going to share my kids layout made with Femina new, just released, paper collection.
This collection was primary meant to be for Moms.
But I always try to see if the themed collection can fit another purposes and I found that this collection can perfectly fit more then Mom's theme.
So I made a layout with my darling grand children photo using 5 different cardstocks to make the background and then added paper cuts, chipboards and flowers as my embellishments.

This collection has the most delicious foiled cardstocks and I used them all to build the striped background.
The embellishment cluster near the photo was made with chipboards from three new packs.
Then I added the title, photo banner and the corner photo frame from the Femina themed collection. Most of the chipboards were painted with black acrylic paint.
The butterflies and  the circle over the hand cut air balloon were heat embossed with dark pink embossing powder.
Pink Papericious sequins were added over the black foiled cardstock strip.

The flowers from the new release were arranged over the painted chipboards.

As always I tried to add some Mixed Media touch to my scrapbooking page and here it was done with stencil, texture paste and some pink and white mists over the dry texture paste.

And here is the lower embellished corner. I added some random drops of Glossy Accents over the painted chipboards for the interest.

CAS- ual Fridays Happy Birthday challenge

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my very first challenge post as CAS-ual Fridays Challenge team member.
No automatic alt text available.
Our challenge today is to make a Birthday card with 6 similar things.
It can be stamped images, embellishments, colors or whatever you want.

So here is my card for the challenge.
I am not a usual CAS card maker, but doing the first challenge for CAS- ual stamps with almost no supplies yet made me a CAS card maker.

As you can see my card is made with 6 times stamping of " Happy Birthday" sentiment in 6 different colors and adding 6 pieces of embellishments, also not the very same 6.
I made the sentiment using two different stamp sets with two different fonts and I like it this way.
To make it straight I used my Misti tool, the one I own for ages and not so used to use. So now it was a right time and it worked perfectly.

The stamp sets  I used are new, just released ones:
Word Happy is from Shalom set
Word Birthday is from RAD 2 set

There are no genre restrictions for this challenge. Link up your clean and simple designs or layer it on -- the choice is yours.  Make sure to link back to this blog post and include the graphic below in your post for consideration of being chosen a winner.
What are your playing for? 10 winning entries will be highlighted on this blog each Thursday before a new challenge is set to go live the next day.  In addition, Michele has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate to the overall winner at CAS-ual Friday stamps. And if that weren't enough, if the chosen winner has used CAS-ual Friday stamps and/or dies as the main focus in the card, that gift certificate will increase to $50.

So don't wait! Play with us and you can be our WINNER!

Scrapberry's FAMILY challenge

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Scrapberry's May challenge take.
This month and in June we challenge you to make Family projects.
It can be totally anything: cards, layouts, altered projects. Make whatever you wish with Scrapberry's products and enter to win our challenge.
As family is Dad and Mom and kids you can make any possible  card for this challenge.
My take was a Father's day card and I made it with Words Live Forever paper collection.
The only non Scrapberry's product are the dies( as we don't produce those yet) and the DAD letters that are very old stckers' sheet.
I used stitched died for the basic card and for circles; added some background die cutting and some border punching.
The sentiment was made with double die cut word, some hand cut piece and those old  fabric stickers.
The card has a lot of other sayings that are great for the Dad in general.
