Love anniversary card

Made with Pretty Little Studio Ad #2 inspiration card- I really loved this wood pins and red colors on the inspiration, but decided to move to another field and here it is- love card.
I used AC brown cardstock as my base, PLS Antique store collection Timeless and Charm papers, Anniversary mini flash cards , Antique Store  banner and hand cut the nini inages from this paper collection cover .. (Recycling me, as always)  I added this number 20- for years - tag from Bingo tags Numbers and again this Love sentiment is an old recycled item.  MM bling circle, some simple twine and a ribbon - and this fun card  was done. And yes, I used office staples for the finish.

Past is a key to the future

For the past weekS I made a lot of altered Mixed Media work as I was in this MM mood- so this is a first one to show in my blog and most of them are recycled. This  one is made with an old chipboard frame that was some kind  of an ad placement frame. I also recycled some old lace from the dress and some puaale piece.
Made with mists, inks, paints, stamps, clustering, goose bamps, embossing and some Pink Paislee, Prima and Tim's goodies.
I love this " past is a key for the future" saying- fits my love for all things vintage style.
I also entered this to Symon Says Stamp and Show  recycling challenge

Stars around us with Creative Inspirations paints

Hello, dear readers!
I am Irit and this is my very first tutorial made for Creative Inspirations blog.
Today we are going to learn how to use Bee Wax together with our sparkle paints to create a small and shiny Mixed Media project.

Our product list:
Small canvas: 4*5'
Bee Wax- I used the Natural color, but any white wax can be used too.
Heat gun and small metal plate
White bare chipboards stars: Tando Creative
Dew Drops: Robin's Nest
Star shaped sequin waist: Gauche Alchemy
Creative Inspirations Paints: Ivory, Sea Foam, Royal Blue, Tanzanite, Silver Frost, Aquamarine
Non permanent glue squares, Glossy Accents : Ranger

Step 1: Heat some wax in a metal plate with a heat gun. ( If you have your Melting Pot, it can be great, I can't use it because of the different voltage, so I alter and this small metal plate is my alteration). Add the melted wax over your canvas.

Step 2: Keep you wax hot and remember that your working time is very limited, so please leave your phones and kids by themselves for 2 seconds.
Put your star shaped sequin waist over the hop wax, glue it quickly with 2 glue squares and then add another portion of hot melted wax over the stars. Let it cool and dry for a few minutes and then peel the waist and keep it for the future use.

Step 3: Here the fun begins: pull your paints and begin to add them from the lighter one- Ivory to the darker one. Let your paints dry between the steps .

And here are the paints  I used for this project

Step 4: This is your final step of canvas decoration and you can do whatever you wish here.
I used Tando Creative bare white chipboard stars and added a free mix of all paints I used for the canvas. Let them dry and glue some Dew Drops on your painted stars and on the canvas. Final photo

I hope that you like this technique and see you again in a week for another fun technique to share.
And as for my frugal advice: you can also use any white candle you already have as your wax. Same affect, less cost.
