Always lo
Still with my second wedding album- the first one was given to my DS and DDIL, and as I want one for us- I scrap those wedding photos here and there, whenever I have a mood and a right supplies. So Graphic 45 paper are great, also I just have a few of them and mostly the X-mas lines I got as a present on 2009 CHA, but sometimes it's really challenging to use " out of the blue" paper lines and to make a lovely page, and this page is lovely..
I think I even " invented" somthing here: I covered this great sephia photo with white tulle- all over the photo and the result is just great.
Everything else is a rutine:cut a circle from double sided paper and put it inside again from the reverse side.. Done.. Now do some faux stitching, if you , like me, are not a sewing person...Now use your border punches- done..
Add some great embellishments- for this shabby look metals are the best, some lace, some ribbon..
Now for flowers.. Tim Holtz die makes it easy.. The flower center buttons are from my vintage stash- the solver shoe is just great for a Cinderella bride.Hearts are always great..
Now for a title.. Boring.. All of them were done.. So Always is always good.. Thickers? Boring.. So I found some Paper studio cork letters , new set.. Did I really pay 7.99$ for this set? Was I crazy?
I think it was on some sale, otherwise I am crazy, as the set is nice, not more then it, 1 letter E in the whole set, you can't even spell Forever.. Why do I always have problem with letter E?
Some distressing around is a must.. 3 hours for this one.. No Prima flowers or blings - 2 extra hours of scrapping cost.. Bad cost- benefit analysis of mine..
Just hope you like the page or my long post or both..

Maya- Srap with V March 1 st sketch
This page is published in March SNR magazine issue
I was asked to choose a sketch for Scrap with V Marth 1 st sketch. I am not so good with making my own, so I decided to use Prima January BAP one made by Anam and to offer it for Scrap with V blog post.
And this is my own take of this sketch:
Using Prima goodies and some cardboard, die cuts were made with Cheery Lynn Designs fantastic new Doily dies and diamonds border die too (which I lost later and can't find in my so messy craft room)
This is my pretty only sister Maya who lives in NY USA and just gave me this photo during her last visit here.
I made an International DT on Epyphany crafts
This mini album was done about a week ago for the design team call on Epyphany crafts.
And today I got a " yes, we want you" , that you can see on their blog .
I am so thrilled that I did it with these really talented ladies on this great team.
Thanks to Julie for letting us know about the call and to Epyphany crafts for believing in me!

Medals for everyone- for CLD too
This weeks project is a bit "out of the box" for me. I thought to take one of Paper Crafts magazine hot trends for 2011 and to show you how easy it can be done with those gorgeous Cheery Lynn Designs dies and embossing plates.
So here they are -my 4 medals for each member of the average family.
One for Dad
One for Mom
One for a girl
And the last one for boy
You can just continue with it and to add one for a Grandma, baby etc
I am sure the man who really deserves this medal is our own Mike!! For all his fantastic dies we use every week and enjoy them again and again!
It's very easy to do: first of all die cut the 4'' inverted scalloped circle from some corrugated paper, then hand stitch the wide ribbon and shrink it under the circle with some tacky glue tape.
For the next step add the ribbon ends under your circle. Then emboss some cardstock with CLD embossing plates, die cut it with a circle die and adhere over the first circle with some 3d foam glue. You can ink this second circle edges, as I did here.
Then add your embellishments and a title and give your medals to a proud recipients.
So here are the dies and plates I used for this project
Inverted scalloped Large circles Baby feet XL embossing plate
And as usual:use our great Metal adaptor for an easy cuts and our fantastic Embossing pads for a great and easy embossing
