Omer: altered stitching hoop project

This is my most adorable 3 month old grandson Omer and an altered crosstitching hoop I did  with his photo.. I love flowers, I love shabby, I love blings and you can't use them with older boys.. But with 3 month old- the sky is a limit and my Prima stash is the second  limit only
So old black hoop, covered totallt with old vintage curtain lace, grungeboard pieces painted to white with fairy dust glitter, lost of flowers, some pins, metals and his name
I decided to stick to  this vintage clean colors- mostly white with a bit of blue as his eyes still are and some green  like in the photo
Lots of work in a very small , not more then 6'' circle piece
I hope you like it-the other thing is that you can change a photo in a second and to use it as a rechangable
frame

This and that with CLD dies

This week I decided to collect all bits and pieces of my never posted here work, using our fabulous Cheery Lynn Designs dies .Also on those projects I didn't use many of CLD dies, but only a few here and there, I want to show you how effective those great dies are and how much one or two single dies can add to your projects
So here they are
The first one is a cardboard based scrapbooking page made for my only sister MAYA- and this is this
page name

I used French Pastly Doily several times and Scalloped Diamonds Border die on this lo
The next one is this dramatic Cameo card, made with XL French Scalloped Flair Nested Stackers dies
and as I don't have the regular French Flair dies, I just cut 2 around the dies- more work, but the same
result. I also used those Little Oval Nested Stackers dies as my Cameo base- the black was cut from the
chipboard Cameos package, the second one- from white cardstock

The third one is my XOXO with flowers card and I used this Large Parallel Rectangle Stitching plate to make a grid, then used some brads and twine to separate the sectors and to make this card

As you can see from all those projects:a small CLD touch and your lo or card are taken to another and better level
So go to our shop and grab some dies- then let us see what you can create with them

Fun page made with MME gooddies mostly and it's my DD at 17- not really gambling, it just was one shot  in Casino before thay kicked here out.. So the title is combined with a journaling and says " At 17
you can't gamble, it's just for a shot" and the handwriting adds- Las Vegas 2004
