Make your own Washi tape with Ann Butler's products

This is my version for faux washi tape, made with medical paper tape you can buy in every drugstore for a very low cost. So buy one and you can make your own different in colors and patterns tapes in a very simple way.

1. Adhere 6 paper tape strips over some non sticky surface (I used the original one, but any smooth plastic with do the work).Adhere your tapes with spaces: we are going to color them and we don't want them to

get another color from a strip that was too close

2. Color each strip with different Ann Butler's Crafter's inks using a sponge or any other applicator.

Let the ink dry a lot! I didn't want to dry it with a heat gun as I was not sure about the result to the delicate

adhesive of those paper tapes.

3. Now, when your strips are dry, re- arrange them close one to another as we want to stamp over a bunch of colored tapes all together. Pick any 2'' Ann Butler's stamp (Unity) and stamp over the colored tapes with this single square as we want it to be " the same tape pattern in 6 colors). Use permanent black ink of any

kind.

4. Now I just made this sample card with diagonal cutting of my stamped faux tapes and some small embellishments around. The circled sentiment was a double die cut and the background was dry embossed with embossing folder. Both embossed panel and the basic card were inked with Aquamarine ink around the edges.
