This is my new and recycled box, made as a new Sewing box for my new (soon to be) craft room.I used an old tea box for this project and as I really like the wood color, I decided to leave the sides as is.

Other products:

Black, silver and copper embossing powders
Old tea box, twine, pins, buttons, ribbons, fabric flowers
How to make this project:
1. Find an old tea box that you want to make your new recycled sewing box. Cut a piece of Chocolate C58 008 paper that fit the box size and use the backside of it to cover your box. Distress the edges a bit and ink them. Cut the Clock shape from Milkshake Chic Pre-Cuts Packets, ink the edges and glue it on the shown place. Add one Trellis Door paper cut over the clock and fit it to the size.
2. Cut two dresses and hats from the same Milkshake Chic Pre-Cuts Packet. Glue them on the upper right corner; leave the upper part clean of the glue for now. Cut two measure tapes strips from the very same packet and glue them on the lower bottom of your box, folded and overlapping as shown.
3. Cover the Sewing Machine chipboard with clear embossing ink; add black powder and heat emboss the piece. Adhere it on the lower left side of the box.
4. Cover the Scissors chipboard half and half with silver and black embossing powders, heat emboss and glue over the Sewing Machine as shown. Cover the top and bottom of the chipboard spools with yellow ink and clear embossing powder, leave the middle bare. Tie the twine ever both shapes and glue them as shown. Heat emboss the needle with silver powder and insert into the spool.
5. Make the heat embossed title using black, copper and silver heat embossing over the clear embossing ink 9make some paper masking to add the color you need over the spool and the needle. Tie some pink twine around and glue it over the box. Add pins inside the spool.
6. Black ink 2 coat hangers and add under the dresses on the top of your box.
7. Add a few buttons on the bottom, try to find the vintage looked ones and in the right colors.
8. Glue the lacy trim and a couple of fabric flowers on the front side of the box.
Enjoy your work! Use it! Just remember that if you really want to use it, try to leave it pretty flat and use good glue to secure the chipboard elements over the box.
