If you come from Kim Holmes blog- you are on the right path, and if not- just go back to Best Creations blog and do it from the first blog on this hop.
This hop is all about Love and flowers, but I decided to do it about my love to flowers and not a traditional Valentine project.
This is a very frugal shadow box (with letters Party over the box to be altered), but as I am a flower girl , I did it with Best Creations Jubelly line and other glitter papers and 3 kinds of handmade flowers.
I also used my Cheery Lynn designs dies- lot's of them here as those dies were just right for this project
The yellow flower is some tissue paper "5 seconds to do flower" and I promise to do some tutorial later .
The pink dotted flower - die cut, layered and twisted a bit and the big pink flower was a strip die cut, folded and turned to a great home made embellishment.

Here are the steps for my Folded flower and you can use your scissors too, also the die makes it more professional.
1. Cut a 1'' stripe from your favorite paper, die cut it with some border die (also you can do it with your border punch too- but it takes time, or even with some decorative scissors if you still keep them .. LOL)
2. Take the cut stripe and begin to fold like an accordion fold- do it about 1/4 '' mostly- I know it's a bit hard with a cardstock, but then your flower will be stable more than with thin paper.
3. Punch 2 cardstock flowers and add some glue over the lower one, then glue the ends of your folded stripe as shown.
Layer the flower over the glued flower and add another cardstock glued flower over the top of your folds.
Now go to your stash and find some nice button, big crystal or small flower to use as your flower center. Enjoy it!

You actually don't need any wood shadow box for this project- every recycled box will be great with some holes on the top for the flower (wood stick) steams.
The small bird house was a clear wood and I just painted it with an acrylic paint wash.
The only " real" not made by me flowers are those small Prima sunflowers and some plastic flower buttons.
And now just run to the next blog on our Hop- Sandy Ang blog
