Carnival canvas
This work was spotlighted on City crafter's blog- thanks!!
My shabby recicling mood is still alive- so I did this altered canvas mixed media style and actually rescued this used old canvas from going to the trash
The beginning was this City crafter's Venice challenge- so I just pulled this gorgeous digi mask image I got for some time and decided to do it black and white with some pinks
It is not a ceramic face- it is a paper digi image with some molding paste under and around it!!
I have much more recycling here: the broken earring, some old silver pin,old tulle I colored with pink mist and old black silver flowers from my oldest son Bar Mitzva(we are talking 15 years back from now- this is a real vintage piece)
I did these pink roses - very easy task and also added my own old beaded b/w piece. I also colored the white original feather- from last winter crazy birds we had near the balcony
The base was done with molding paste colored with black acrylics with some Doodlebug chunky glitter
As you can see- no cost piece that can be a gift for a young shabby girl..
And as for other challenges- I always have some in mind
B/w with one color for Corrosive
Pink and black for Pink elephant
Ribbon borders- kind of- for Really reasonable ribbon-
Girly- for BunnyZoe crafts
Somthing old for Lexis- everything here is old- old- old
Shabby for KLstamping and scrapping
Fabric- tulle is a kind of- for Totally stampalicious
Spotty- the outside ribbon is- for Crazy challenges
Vintage for Challenge up your life
Pink and girly for Bee crafty
Ribbon. fiber. lace- for Meljen's designs
Something old- all of the items- for Paper play
2-pink roses for One stitch in time
